  1. Are you going to be doing any boss hunting any time soon or plan on camping waterfiends? no -> sell yes -> keep
  2. Depends on the item. Harder to flip items I aim for around 1 - 1.25%, normal items I aim for around 1.75 - 2.25% and for items which I know can be flipped very easily for a lot I aim for 3%.
  3. I think Coinshare will change slightly when free trade comes, so you might want to wait until then. As it stands, lootshare was only used for bosses which had items with a lot of street value.
  4. Most people will disable shields, so 2h's are out of the question. Scimitar is always better afaik.
  5. Dream Mentor shouldn't have taken you 15 hours to complete. And before bunyip, yes guthans was worth it.
  6. Why so mad that your advice is crap? OP doesn't have enough to get 104M herb exp and the advice that was given is the best. If the OP only has 26m to spend what makes you think he wants to spend more to train your more expensive way? And yes, IF they are released. derp. IF Jagex makes a monster give you 100 herb exp every kill everybody just wasted a bunch of money, so maybe we should just wait for that to happen.
  7. I totally agree with you, database calls are expensive as well and take up a lot of memory. Jagex has said that on one day like a million chickens were killed. Why would they needlessly create something that would require them to have faster database servers.
  8. Somebody is selling a banana for 3$ and someone else for 8$. What would you do?
  9. I would say whatever. It's risky though. I wouldn't call it real world trading since it doesn't concern any RS gold or items. But it's definitely against the rules as only immediate family members can buy you membership. Most of the people who get cheap pins usually goto random stores or the library and buy a pin through their phones afaik. So yes, it's also quite illegal in real life.

    Staking

This. Staking is more about knowing how to play the rules to your favor and maybe knowing how to mage in the obstacle room if you ever find yourself in that situation.
  11. Jagex doesn't ban you for idling. theres no difference from idling and afking and afking is against the rules so they can ban you That's is just asinine. Jagex tracks how much experience you gain, why would they ban you for just sitting in a bank? Also, Jagex tracks your mouse movements, mouse clicks and key strokes. And they also know when the RS window is in focus. So no, you won't get banned for idling.
  12. From what I have gathered they last for 500k. I also seen someone mention that Skill Level*1000 exp will use up 1%... Not sure which one is true.
  13. I imagine Torva will be a decent amount more than the ranger set(only real use is Nex??) and well, mage set won't probably have that much demand.(comparatively) If free trade comes around, Torva will probably rocket to crazy heights and the range and mage set will increase a bit. So I wouldn't be surprised if the price for Torva inflates to accommodate the lower value of the range and mage sets. All speculation of course and it's obvious hard to tell at this point...
  14. It's really hard to bring a dragon dagger, full black hide and some cheap magic robes isn't it?
  15. Depends what you mean by semi-afk... Kinda playing RS and getting range exp, I would say armoured zombies and spiders in SOS are the best. Spiders are good experience and if you have a bunyip you can leave RS until they lose aggressiveness.
  16. I don't want to come off as an [wagon], but from my experience Jagex is usually pretty good with these things. You either botted and are denying, or you didn't. If you didn't, send Jagex a message or something if you really feel like taking the risk - I mean they already believe you botted.
  17. ...Are you kidding? 1399 hp makes you un-koable in PvP and gives you an insane amount of time before you have to brew down in PvM like Bandos solos. The armor is a gigantic advantage, and any high level player is going to want it badly. I'm thinking he was trolling, I mean he DID mention splitbark armour.
  18. Don't think scrub really applies to Runescape as there really isn't much of a skill ceiling. Sure, you can be more efficient than someone else but that doesn't make you inherently more skillful than someone else. I always viewed scrubs as someone who acted/pretended to be professional, but really had no idea what they were doing. People who acted cocky and arrogant. Always viewed it differently from being a newb.
  19. I thought Chaos Tunnel Fiends become faster once you get a familiar that can help you kill them? (maybe wolpen, definitely Iron titan) Did an update happen in the past 3 months?
  20. Quests are easy and as long as you come prepared I doubt you'll have any troubles with all but like 2-3 of them.
  21. Not sure about you, but from the description in the BTS it sounded like Nex will be powerful and hard to kill. And who even knows about respawn times. People will find out the armour is rare and will have to buy their bandos back because Throva armour will be unbuyable for like a month+ unless free trade comes out at the same time. In which case a lot of people can afford Bandos, but won't be able to afford the probably 100m+ for each throva piece.
