  1. Do new accuracy changes cement cmaul is the best overall melee weapon?
  2. For 99, I'd say go for it. For 98, it's... borderline. If you're bored of talons, go for it. One massive advantage you have is that your seconds won't be affected in price. Geysers always have streaks of being borderline not worth it, you can make one of the elemental titans instead, iirc earth talismans are very cheap usually. Managed to buy some earths - should end up costing about 4.4gp/xp. Will probably just go for 96 for yaks. Also why still no D&D?
  3. Should I break bank and get 98 summoning? Don't have 3k talons yet though and tallies don't buy for any reasonable rate :/ Are any other blue charm familiars worth making?
  4. Botany Bay has nothing to do with the actual banning of bots. It's purely cosmetic really. You could call it a failure of an update in that it people don't visit it anymore after they got their rewards. Botwatch has hit several areas nicely, but there's still some work to be done. Your point about banning botters also decreasing their income is also moot. Botters for profit will still try to circumvent the system and thus remake new accounts and sub on them.
  5. There's always going to be false positives. No system is foolproof. I've always advocated that people just settle down about bots and accept them as they are. The only way you're ever going to completely and effectively eradicate bots (or goldfarmers) is if you completely change the game itself. Of course, that's never going to happen if people still want to play "Runescape".
  6. D&D you say. How's that progressing so far?
  7. Does anyone else think this could possibly be fake just because of how awfully laid out/edited the image is? EDIT: I CALLED IT
  8. Are you certain of that? I don't recall ever hitting less than 41 (maybe 40) in the dungeon with ring, barring cases when the monster has less than 41(40) lp and misses.
  9. I believe they ended up removing the 30 level penalty, but the change in protection prayers is significant though.

The appeal of BF games for me (all that I've played at least) is that you can be awful at shooting, but still contribute a lot to your team. In CoD, shooting is basically all you've got.
  11. Is this with a brand new account that I register with no history? Or with one of those legacy accounts that were purchased before F2P?
  12. Here I come, Kiln. I wonder if there'll be any constraints on their use.
  13. From what I understand, there's a "deck" of X cards that you "draw" from. When a player is removed, it doesn't actually remove all of those cards.
  14. I thought F2P HoN also had champion rotations...? Champs don't really take more than a month or two to come back on the free rotation, unless it's a special case like Evelyn or Twitch. You should be able to find out what champs you wish to play on your way to level 30 and then you can just purchase a few that you like.
  15. Oh I see. But otherwise there's no limit on the points I can earn?
  16. Are contribution points capped at 2500 a day? Or is there something I'm missing here.
  17. I wonder if the agil xp is capped per day, week, or for the whole event.
  18. But that's the whole point of the combo: Chromebook is your on the go portable solution and your rig is your powerhouse gaming platform. Of course if you can't get both then don't get either. The tricky thing about laptops is that the hardware is going to be more expensive for the same amount of performance that a tower would give (which should make sense). That's why when I get some more funds I'll be leaning to something close to the above option mentioned. What do you mean by "long time"? I personally think 3-4 years is fairly good and I expect my current $700 laptop to last at least that long (in terms of being able to play newish games on decentish quality).
  19. Holy crap that's probably overkill. What sort of games do you intend on playing and how well exactly? Here's a good site for ranking GPUs and CPUs. Anything in the top 100 are complete monsters and the next 100 or so are still very capable. I run most Unreal3 games (ME3, Tera, etc) on pretty much max without much trouble on my 630M. If you're considering a chrome book, your actual ideal plan would probably be to get that for portable use and then a full sized tower machine for gaming.
  20. I think I'll also dump the 1m XP into summoning as well seeing as that and prayer are my only pressing goals. Also do you want to buy bstaves Q?
  21. Asus has fairly reasonable stuff. Brands are generally not a huge deal though. I would also be a little weary of getting a 17", especially if you plan to move around a lot with it. Very cumbersome and fairly heavy. Laptops are also one of the few things where an extended warranty isn't the worst idea in the world.
