I'm a converted ex merchant. I originally merchanted with my friend, it was a bit like a competition. I clocked up about 20M in a few weeks (good for me and my lack of patience!) Then, one day in the park, I got chatting to a few fellow merchanters. They were boasting about how much they had (We're talking 75M+). I remember thinking- what is the point? (They were a level 23 and a 65). It's so insane that you can make massive amounts of money with very little time or effort. But it's not like you can't get profit from skills- it's just at a slower rate. I recently made 2.2m off fletching- I was very happy with the xp. I think rares should be made untradeable. It would do the economy a world of good.
