    Is Lying Okay?

Child molestation. Lying is alright I suppose, but I avoid it unless I'm dealing with someone emotionally unstable or suicidal. Other than that I HATE to lie and don't do it. Child molestation boosted some kids self-esteem. Rofl.
  2. Yeah, Israel is the most stable region in the world, isn't it? I know about 15+ Israeli soldiers/ex-soldiers, I've only met 1 that has killed someone. Heck, the Israeli army even offers positions working at national parks/monuments for tourism.
  3. Most people in the army don't. But if we were planning a premeditated murder why would someone say it on a public forum, rofl. Anyways, I can rest assure that I will never get so out of control as to kill someone unless they pose fatal threat to me.

    Is Lying Okay?

Child molestation. If there was a microchip trigger inside of a childs urinary tract that would set off a bomb in the White House in 2 minutes if confined inside his body, and you had to make him either pee or the other thing, and he didn't have to go pee.
  5. If its my life or theirs, its theirs.
  6. Exactly! Agnosticism is the only 'logical' argument. To be honest, I'm not "sure" that God exists, but I live my life like he does, and I assume that he does as the world is hopless without that assumption( to me at least.) I don't need logical proof to believe in God. Oh and you should capitlize God, not out of respect, but God is still a proper noun. Even if you believe he is pure fiction. Shouldn't you be capitalizing He, as well? Just curious... I never capitalize god. Only... uh, when I'm mocking the idea. [/hide] You are right I should be capitalizing he when referring to God. But, yes you should capitlize God, It IS a proper noun whether or not you believe in him or not. Unless you enjoy mauling the English language to make an ideological point. Don't argue language with me, please... - - - I digress... I really don't care if I "maul" the English language by not capitalizing the word "god," nor do I care if I'm making an ideological point by it. Capitalizing the word "god" puts him/her on a pedestal in my eyes, and I have no intention of doing that. Regardless, the people who said it should be capitalized are wrong. I will copy and paste straight from dictionary.com, where it explicitly said it is lowercase in these situations: Secondly, anyone who argues grammar when it is totally irrelevant is stupid in my book. When arguing with someone, and then happen to misspell something (which in this case he actually didn't), and the other person argues about your grammar it just shows either: 1.they're looking for a flame war 2: they're a very angry person, who needs to constantly let it out some way or another or 3. Correct grammar is one of the most important things in their life, more important than respecting others and others opinions.
  7. -when I got my first partyhat taken from me -Multiple times when staking for very high amounts, my heart beats really fast and I get super nervous, one time I staked 40m, back when that was like half my money and my hands were shaking -a few years ago when I was constantly being poisoned and lost in karamja, computer was too slow for world map, and I was lost for like an hour, only surviving because of the like cocktail spawn near the gnome glider. I ended up paying someone like 100k to bring me food and anti's and lead me out -When I tried to log onto my first main, only to find out it had been permanently banned. Also when I tried to log onto Intheclubpio, whenever I was temp-banned or locked. I'd be nervous until I was assured that it wasn't permanent. -When a(once) friend of mine told me that she was going to kill herself, and never logged back in. I wasn't really nervous or scared its just sad and chilling (or she might have just quit, or deleted me, hopefully). -Whenever I have 0 hp and am in the process of dying and I know I won't be able to get the stuff back I don't know the scariest, probably the first one
  8. There is nothing to argue there, and all you're doing is repeating yourself. Its insulting the negative connotation you give to atheists, and basically all your post is, is spam. Your obviously, consciously or not, are trying to start another mini-flame war.
  9. Stepping out, why? Throwing mud is fun. Anyways, its not like earth was a predestined place for life, and the only chance for life to exist in the universe. If earth had failed to meet those slim conditions, another planet might have...there are "over 9000" planets. When each is given taken into account. The chance of spontaneous life in the universe is pretty good, or at least not improbable. Also, your 48,000,000,0...... number is made by a religious guy, lol.
  10. The one part I don't find it logical is how it assumes bacteria sprung out of nowhere. How does life spring up out of nothing? I've never heard a logical explanation for why I should expect that bacteria popped out in the ocean with no help. After that, sure, I guess that makes sense. But that one point I just have heard people talk around. I have a earth science encyclopedia, just looked it up. The following is text straight from the book: "Life is defined as a self-contained system of molecules that can duplicate itself from generation to generation. In Earth's early history, the elements that make up the vast majority of living tissues (hydrogen, carbon, oxygen, and nitrogen) were available in some form, and energy was abundant. Also the concentration of atmospheric oxygen was low, which probably allowed a period of chemical evolution before the development of life. The earliest life forms may have resembled the bacteria-like organisms that exist today in hot springs associated with volcanic activity. The first bacteria-like microfossils are dated at 3,500 million years old. Stramatolites, fossilized mats of cyanobacteria, first appear in the fossil record at about this time. These are the dominant fossils found in rocks older than about 550 million years. Between about 3,500 and 1,500 million years ago, cyanobacteria and blue-green algae were probably the main forms of life. Importantly, they slowly contributed oxygen to the atmosphere. The build-up of free oxygen, harzadous to most life forms, may have stimulated the development of organissms with more complex cellular organisation about 1,500 million years ago. The eukaryotes could reproduce sexually allowing evolutionary change. They generated more oxygen and eventually an ozone shield- this is probably what enabled further biotic evolution. The earliest fossil record of protozoans, which are animals and so derive their energy from ingesting other organisms, is from about 800 million years ago. By about 680 million years ago, the protozoa were highly diverse and complex range of multicelluar animals- mostly coral or worm-like life forms." Not going to type out the rest of the stages of evolution but it basically gives reasoning for each stage of early evolution all the way from eukaryote to mammals.
  11. So you don't believe that Humans descended from Australopithecines etc? You don't believe that bacteria was the first forms of life? Or did god create the separate bacteria and pre-human homonids separatly also? There is sufficient evidence proving that these extinct creatures existed. The one logical scientific explanation is natural selection, and I fail to see how it is close to funny as it is a very valid, logical and accepted theory. If you were to laugh at macroevolution then you might as well laugh at your religious view of the creation of species because they are both theories. And one of them has more a graspable explanation.
  12. Silly man, you're not supposed to be throwing sandwiches, YOUR A MAN! protip: Bullets are much more effective. :shame:
  13. First off, I'm Jewish, and I personally wouldn't take offense to the name. But I know a lot of my family would. Its not just a name, sadly, it stands for something more whether people like it or not. Having said this, if I was the grocery store cake designer, I wouldn't refuse to make the cake, its free speech. Heck, I've seen KKK meetings in real life, and I honestly don't care, its a right given to all American citizens and businesses public and private should respect it. As for the parents, they seem like total imbeciles. For one, what college or job would want to have someone named Adolf Hitler in their establishment, the parents basically ruined his life unless he takes the action to change his name. This whole ordeal just seems like a cry for attention for the family, and a need for making up for some past event/s in the parents lives that made them feel bleak or "regular", so why not make your son REALLY DIFFERENT. Also, the way the parents talked made them seem really stupid, going out of their way to say: "Oh no, no we're not racist, why would we let mixed races in our house, huh?" Whole thing is just one giant facepalm #-o
  14. Marriage is a symbol of much more than what those first motives. Marriage is basically the highest form of companionship. If a couple were in love and wanted to spend the rest of their lives together getting married is physical way of documenting such a thing. and blah blah blah I'm tired but I think you get what I mean bai
  15. First off, don't put words in my mouth, I never said "I think our society could get better" as you said I "admitted". Secondly, wishing for progress and beneficial action is no where near a "fairy-tale", yeah living in Utopia is, but not wishing for a free healthcare plan, more college scholarships, etc. I never would dwell on "wishing" on living in a Utopia, and that's the difference between me and you. Sure I might think about it and the possibilities but its not the kind of thing I would have in the back of my mind. G'night, im going to beddie pie. Ima try really hard to dream of talking-nanners
  16. First off, I'd like to let you know you're trying to argue something totally irrelevant to the thread. Second off, stop assuming everything I say in the worst connotation. Did you honestly think I'd reply to this: "Yes, I believe we should bomb Muslims for practicing their religion hardcore. That's {bleeping} disgusting. The whole reason I said my moral code is pretty subjective to our culture is BECAUSE IT IS, AND SO IS EVERY OTHER SANE PERSONS. Do you realize the impossibility for a moral code to stray from the culture you live in. Heck, maybe if you were born on Mars and were raised by talking bananas you wouldn't think twice about murdering someone, but I wasn't raised by bananas. Of course my moral code strays enough as does one persons' to the next, but I stated it so simply just because I thought it was totally irrelevant.
  17. Like many things, the base and motives to get married has changed. You can't tell me a heterosexual couple's motives are to get married is to benefit society, and to procreate, sure in some cases those alone can be valid reason to get married. But now the spectrum of motives and reasons to get married has broadened to love, loneliness, companionship and friendship among others. Marriage now stands for all of these things. If two people share ANY of these motives or reasons, and both wish to get married, then it should rightfully be their option. Times change.
  18. Not if you have hemophilia where your blood dosent clot well. Or if you are mental in some ways. #-o
  19. Morale code or moral code? Well my moral code is pretty subjective to my culture, I don't see how that is relevant. As what "I wan't to be", well career-wise I don't know. But life-wise I wish to gather desired information, I want to learn about "stuff", and explore my creativity and productiveness throughout my life. I also wish to be content with the outcome of my life when I'm an old man. I mean, that's just like 2-4 of my wants for my life, out of probably hundreds. I don't have the time or energy to really think and write out a sufficient answer to that question, also I'm only 16 years old and I'm sure all throughout my life priorities and goals will change.
  20. That might be the way you, and a percentage of others "survive fruitfully and bearably" on earth, but I know for a fact it is not how I go about living. also: Categorizing "becoming an athlete" at least for a healthy and capable human being is a very possible and real possibility, whereas I'd consider such a goal at most a desire.
  21. Exactly, red-tape rivals, recycling bibles. Silly storm-trooper, you're not supposed to be thrusting, YOUR A STORM-TROOPER!
  22. I c wut u did thar. Anywho, to answer. I think the best way to "alter" ones reality is not to change facts, but to change perception. For example if I had a dream of a world where all bananas had the ability to talk, and I thought the dream was grand. I wouldn't then go about pretending that the bananas were talking to me, or hoping they are. The reason being is because the essence of science disproves of any such thing. Instead if I really wanted to hold this true to myself I would hold a banana up to my ear and listen to the silence it emits and enjoy every minute of it.
