hexediting is ran from a 3rd party pragram, now-a-days hex-editing programs, use a "false reality" technique. Which is when it makes the pixels look like there is a changed number of the selected item, but when you run it on the regular version of something (in this case being runescape) the hex-editor doesnt work, and all changes made on the 3rd party version doesnt exist. so if i were to open a hex-edititing program and then change 20 gp to 20 million gp, when i went into a trade with someone, or i dropped it on the ground, or stored it in the bank the pixel that looked like 20m would acually be 20gp and when someone else saw it, it would look like 20gp.
