  1. The genre and type is called 8bit. Go to 8bitcollective.com. There is no mainstream 8bit, it is all just people making it on their computers. Really cool stuff.
  2. My friend did that at lunch once, he was like crying. I used to do this for money until people realized I was God.
  3. Very different on TIF, not so different in chats. It is not because I feel I can't express myself as freely here, I just feel that it is a bit more formal than a conversational chat or talking IRL.

Was just listening to some Biber and it inspired me to write something in a notepad document. I ended up writing about a bunch of Russians standing in a cathedral watching as they, one by one, jumped off a fifty foot ladder to their death, all while an orchestra played in the cathedral. Lolwat. @rangeor, I've noticed that too.
  5. But it's not really the same since Google is Google and you know what Google is without calling it Google.com, but Tip.it is another thing since the it is actually a part of the name. If I were to start calling it Tip, that'd be weird. The dot is just a bit that lets us have a groovy url. I dunno what I'm saying X_X It kind of makes sense... ish. You could look at another more pertinent example: Kataweb.it, a popular Italian news site. You wouldn't pronounce it "Katawebit". Even though you may be accustomed to saying "Tipit", the pronunciation of the URL Tip.it isn't an exception to this rule of pronunciation. Yeah but that site isn't called Katawebit, if it was, then I'd call the address Katawebit not (dot) it. Because the it is a part of the name, we're called Tip.It, not Tip, it's natural to just ignore the dot. It makes sense. Yes, when people reffer to this website they usually type "Tip.It", as one might refer to Kataweb.it as "Kataweb.it". I don't see the logic in not pronouncing the dot. And ironically contradictory to your view, periods were introduced to our language strictly separate two things, not to be ignored and act as something that joins two words: be it ideas, levels, numbers, and so on.

  7. Saying it without the "dot" is like calling Google's URL "Googlecom". Weirdos.
  8. I hold a deep hatred for collective humanity, but not for the same reasons as you. I could care less if people do drugs, cuss, flick me off, rob a gas station store or whatnot. What I care about is people allowing people to suffer, close-mindedness, arrogance, and the fact that humans are basically a bunch of homogeneous desire machines. I wish we were different. All humans are pretty much the same, they just differ depending on what you poke or inject them with.
  9. First guides are fine, Lion even said it in his video. I'm not really sure what restrictions you're talking about. We don't want PK videos...or videos of people walking around in RuneScape. I'm not sure what "heavy restrictions" you speak of. I'm getting a feeling you didn't watch any of the videos, as in my first video uploaded to the site I made sure to emphasize that ANY video relating to TIF can be posted. And in Lion's video he affirmed what I said and elaborated on that. The channel is named "ForumTipIt" for a reason, if we wanted to post random RuneScape videos, I would have named the channel accordingly. I watched all three ;) But I admit to turning 2 off half way through because I got bored and wasnt hooked by the first 40 seconds lol Pking is part of the game, although I don't do pvp a pking subcategory in playlists can't be that hard. Would be a useful tool for demonstrating updates though. I can only see potential in one area and that's maybe doing tip.it newsletters in video format. Sorry for boring you. There is a difference between a PKing video and an update video that shows clips of someone PKing.

  11. It has to be related to TIF in one way or another. As long as you make it clear that you're addressing the TIF audience in your video I could see that working.

The only relatively-complicated thing I prepare is hummus. I make killer hummus.

This thread is starting to make me hate humanity. Consuming and reproducing, it's all the humans want to do. Not that I don't do it at times, but whenever I observe people lusting after food it sort of makes them appear repulsive and primitive to me.

Do tell. Well, we were in history, the most laid back teacher ever, we could do anything, and she wouldn't care, had absolutely no control of the class. She was balding too, and quite chubby. We didn't do any work, and for the last few classes of the term she'd just give us the answers and tell us what pages to fill out, and we'd get 80's/90's. SO. We were sitting in class, doing the end of year exam, it was split into like ten parts, we'd get a double sided sheet in some fluorescent color, with questions and stuff on it, and some fat kid dared me to eat the exam, said he'd pay me fifteen bucks, so I did, the kid never payed me, then she [bleep]ed at me for a minute, and facepalmed a couple times, and then gave me a new one. I used to do lots of dumb [cabbage] in eighth grade. Paper is paper. Paper is not snack. When I get home from school I start my perpetual dinner that ends like an hour before I go to sleep.

PSAT went well. Probably missed a couple on each section. Don't know though! Went to Barnes & Noble with my school afterward. Doing homework, might be a late night. I think the whole YouTube thing is going to work out. Got a couple people willing to make videos. Along with my weekly video it sounds like a good start.
  22. Or become a pilot "Errr we're about 20 minutes from the errrrr destination. Current time is errrr 5:23pm errr" Ahah, thank you. But talking sorta stinks. Lookin' forward to it! Sounds good. As for myself, I plan on making a video for the channel every weekend.

Started a book today (well, before I went to sleep last night at around 1AM). Not quite sure what it's about yet. I foresee it as philosophical and general introspective discussion with myself.
  24. I've never been told I look like Seth Rogen. Yeah, I do have a cold. Nice ear.
  25. There's a difference between getting warm when it's cold and thus feeling cozy, and being warm when it's hot and thus sweating or just feeling uncomfortable and needing to cool off (go swimming). I LOVE hot chocolate but it's not as satisfying to drink it in the summer.. then it just makes me feel too hot. I also love cuddling with blankets. It's not about getting warm it's just about feeling cozy. Again, can't do that in the winter without sweating to death. I must be strange then. I've never felt "cozy" before. :-? I do like making fires though...and hot chocolate, although I can't have it anymore as I'm now lactose intolerant. Stop teasing me with things I will never experience!
