  1. Okay, the "I hate Bush" bandwagon is getting a little big for my tastes. Let's get back on the "I hate the Clintons" bandwagon. At least that one has some logic in it, and way more room. Not that this is the place to discuss this kind of stuff :-w . woooooo another misinterpretation of my statement! I used GB as an example of a person who leads a vast number of people; many of which disagree with him or would not want to be generalised with him. Who is right and wrong didn't come into it, neither did hate. Hehe, I was actually going to edit my post because I wasn't sure whether or not you were saying that after reading it again, but I took a chance :-w . Looks like I lost >_<. Dunno, just a lot of people lately hating Bush, saw a lot of "impeach Bush" signs in the northeast last week during a trip :XD: . Ah well, my bad, just trying to make a random point.
  2. I can't tell if you're joking or not :| . Being good at this game is a matter of time, not skill. There is nothing hard about this game (heck, the Dagganoth Kings are incredably wimpy with the accessories and prayers we currently have), there is only how long you play. That is, unless you're a master at PvP, defeating lurers, playing Castle wars (anything involving defeating an actual human being), there's really nothing to brag about.
  3. I ain't picking between parents, foo'.

Yes, and when you give a human a new heart to save their life you're permanently altering them. Where the heck are you going with this?
  5. Dear God I hope none of you learn how to make a bomb.
  6. No. I'm pretty sure most people wouldn't appreciate a thread like this being on the first page of the OT the day after the book was released, but that's just me.
  7. 6.8/10 Yay, fan :D.
  8. Wow, you have reasoning beyond a Runescaper. Amazing. Wanna go help me beat up a two year old?
  9. It depends whether or not the death of the 3,000 is active or passive murder (or the death of the loved one), and whether or not the loved one knows that they're being chosen over 3,000 people. A good example of this scenario would be (one that was suggested earlier): would you save the people who died in 9/11 if given the chance, if it meant your dearest loved one died on that day instead? You're not responsible for their deaths (technically); in this scenario you're moreso choosing who to save than who to kill. It really depends on the circumstances, but I can see your point being effective for most (if not nearly all) scenarios.
  10. Ah, the fresh breathe of realistic cynacism that this thread needs.
  11. prove it? Are you an idiot? Both of you have the same argument. No they don't. They chose the same of the two choices, but for different reasons. Don't call someone an idiot unless you're sure it'll be hella funny, or at the very least used properly.
  12. Am I the only one here who doesn't go through a cycle o_O? I just... do stuff. Why do you all have repetitive cycles for a life?

Actually, I'm neither. Agnostic, at your service. warri0r, I believe she was referring to the method of debunking Creationism by saying it would be impossible to see the stars that are too far away to see (based on the speed of light). I always thought Creationism included the creation of the universe, but that's just me. It's crap no matter how you look at it, so, ah well.
  14. Loved one. Nice eye roll.
  15. 4/10 Meh.

Yes, but the idea behind Creationism is that the universe and world were created at the same time, 6,000 years ago, not that the Earth just popped into a really old universe recently. Oh, and when labeling diagrams that have to do with light, try not to use the letter "c". It gets confusing when you have to differentiate it from the variable (ille est, the constant speed of light) every time you look at it #-o .

You do understand the logic behind the scientific methods of dating things, right? Don't reject religion until you first understand it. The same goes for science- don't reject it until you understand it. We can never know Truth, but different methods have a higher probability of finding different aspects of it, the Scientific Method being the most efficient one to date. See my sig for the valuable opinion of the mighty shorty alchemist Edward Elric :D.

Hehe, it's mostly teenage rebellion among the younger members. I don't really call someone an atheist until they have the intellectual and maturity level of an adult. I remember I used to be atheist just because my family was Christian. I spent a few years completely hating everything about Christianity, especially going to Church, bleh. In reality though, I wasn't actually an atheist, I was just being a rebellious teenager  . After a little probing and investigation into my "faith" I went through a year of jumping between atheism, Christianity, and agnosticism, and eventually settled on the view of agnosticism once I had learned enough about each viewpoint. Trust me, most of the kids on this forum aren't old enough to make dedicated decisions like that; I'd laugh at a 12 year old if they told me they knew the faith they were going to keep for the rest of their life. I hope nobody has pointed this out yet, because I think it needs to be, and that point is this; If the failure of the logic in this quote isn't immediately apparent, you're not trying hard enough. I'm not trying hard enough :-s .
  20. As much as it pains me to say it... The search button.... *gasp*... is.... your *huff huff*........ friend. Use.... it, damnit. *gasp...* *throws up in disgust* *gathers self* There's an exact copy of this thread on the frikking next page, and probably every page thereafter. Think of some new material people, please.
  21. Some of you scare me.
  22. Me, I'd reccommend a sport that involves a decent amount of running, like soccer, or joining the cross country team this fall. Ya, that's probably the best idea, in my opinion :P . Forced exercise, and something to do during the school year :P . Me, I'm definitely not motivated enough to lose weight (and I definitely ain't giving up my Oreos), so I have my trainers find the motivation for me  :anxious: :ohnoes: . 140 at 5'7", thank you teenage metabolism \ .
  23. The Church supports that sex can be a beautiful, wonderful, and unitive act, one that truly brings a couple together (as well as being procreative). Within the confines of marriage #-o .
  24. Pfft, I blew up three.
