  1. It's not all that great cash. Evey once in a while its fun to go down and hope I get a Spear, but DK'ing is thousands of times better cash than Barrows :o. Meh, at least Barrows items are cheaper to buy :).
  2. I HATE RC pkers. They make runes go up in price  .
  3. Hate me as much as ya'll want, but I'm not going to congratulate this loser and encourage said action, which has come to be known as "no lifing". What s/he did was just plain sad, and never should be repeated in this or any other aspect of the game. Period. Get a life dude, 'cause with the speed you got that 99 we just realized you don't have one.
  4. If I had 99 Defense, 99 Magic, and other basic stats for DK'ing and CW'ing, I wouldn't care if my skills were as low as possible to do basic functions in Runescape, and easy quests. (like 40ish levels minimum, not much more needed).
  5. You guys do know that your title is a huge innuendo, right? Anyways, good luck :P .
  6. Dagganoth Kings. Nowadays, every penny I earn comes from them.
  7. Some popole do have a right to think of themselves to be experienced Barrowers. I mean if you make 3000+ trips and make over 200m there wouldn't you want to brag about how good and patient you are? 100 trips or 10,000 trips, it doesn't make too much of a difference. It honestly takes maybe 10 trips to figure out the Barrows, the rest is based on the common sense of a 1st grader. Now, I get what you're saying about them being experienced, someone who's done 3000+ trips has definitely seen everything there is to see- it's the people who call themselves "experts" and "masters" of the Barrows that kind of tick me off :-# =; . "Experienced"- sweet. "Expert"- don't kid yourself.
  8. You're Just mad because you Can't DK with him. AKA Jealous. So Shadddup! Meh, I kinda agree with him. So he died at the DK's. It's not like people dying at the Dagganoth Kings is all that new.
  9. Meh, the water attacks are nothing compared to the range attacks. In Guthans (+ Granite shield), range and mage attacks hit about the same, if not the range hitting more. Good idea. That's kinda the reason I don't like to solo mage though, 'cause even then your wasting prayer and still getting hurt. Now, Karils+ range pray, that probably does pretty well. Especially because range attacks can be predicted and blocked before they hit you, unlike mage attacks.
  10. Ya. Basically anywhere along the east coast is safe, and pretty much all of the southeast corner is safe. You coulda been saving money :o .
  11. Basically. Well, I think you got it, it's kinda hard to read  . Personally, I hate solo maging. I find it inefficient as it is difficult to get healing in, it eats through food, and Rex goes down slowly. Duo'ing Prime and Supreme seems like a good idea though. If the solo mage has a method, and high defense, the optimal speed kills split three ways probably compensates well for a lack of time down there.
  12. Here's a little survey: Personally, what method of DK'ing, with what type of team (what balance of rangers/meleers/rangers, and possibly what levels of the teamates) do you like the most? As an example, here's my favorite kind of team and strategy: Trio Turtle maging on as highly populated worlds as possible (for fast Rex spawns of course). I run in with two teammates, all of us in Guthans, and we have a helper behind us (lurer? Dunno if there's a term for it) that drags Prime and Supreme away, so we can focus on Rex. With three people in Guthans, ideally around level 100 (with 80-90ish magic, so I get most drops :P , but kills are fast enough), maging Rex we all last until we run out of inventory space, which can often go for 3-4 hours. (you don't have to do this part, but it helps me organize the pro's and con's of the method better) Upsides: Absolutely no danger with Prime and Supreme Infinite health- with three Guthaners the spins don't hit hard enough to ever be a food problem. Three way split- cash adds up when only three people are splitting the drops Possibly the best method for lasting for as long as possible No Prayer is used Downsides: Lurers are a big problem Slower kills, as compared to the rapid fire Prime and Supreme killing The usual high rune costs that come with maging Meh, that's a little over view of my favorite way to DK :) . Now, how do all ya'll DK vets (and others) prefer it?
  13. Very nice, but I'm happy being a Turtle sitting in my little corner :P .
  14. Castle Wars, nothing else even comes close. Well, MTA (Mage Training Arena) has some nice rewards and exp I guess :-k .
  15. That shiny Dragon Ax on the ground.
  16. I'd love to die saving the life of someone who's got some person holding a gun to them. A good deed, and if done right, quick and painless at the same time. That's what I get for being a self-sacrificing person with little attachment or desire to stay on this world. Don't label me as suicidal though, I just don't love many things, or have many items I want to get or goals to achieve. Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori? :-s What does that mean exactly? It looks like it's in the imperative form, "lead and die something something for the fatherland"? I know I've heard it before, I can't remember what it means >_<. Is it "It is beautiful to lead and die for the fatherland"? >_<.
  17. Surprisingly, nothing. As weird as it is I can't think of anything I want. Maybe it's one of those teenage phases or something...
  18. They'd probably think I won some science award or something. My brain is like 90% left sided lol.
  19. I'm not sure, but did that just prove the player mentality that Gp, and only gp, is equivalent to fun?
  20. Okay guys, I know this is all in good fun, but you're definitely crossing a line here  . Either that or you're making a brave attempt to mock the Runescape marriage system :-$ .
  21. The game I can definitely see as fun; if it was simply all addiction the game wouldn't be this big. Construction I agree with you as being fun- being able to make 5 new things every level, and customizing the sweetest house in the game is a lot of fun. But Firemaking? Don't kid yourself :P .
  22. Though your post does vaguely support your argument (barely), never compare Runescape to Real Life, especially when trying to support an argument.
  23. Ditto, but I do love seeing my RE teacher crap himself whenever I have a question, i'm the gooner who always finds the religous plot holes.. Also, when a teacher expects you to have a large piece of coursework done in a week. This wouldn't be too difficult, but you have another 3 expecting the same thing. God do I hate that. My English teacher assigned a 400 page book this weekend (along with other miscelannious [sp?] things), and another teacher a 7 page complete essay on Stem-Cell research in Morality class, and it's not like I don't have at least another hour of homework for every single one of my other classes. That "my class is more important than other classes, it's the only one you should care about" mentality in teachers ticks me off >_<. I actually like taking Latin. I'm in Latin IV at the moment, and as weird as it may seem, it's fun to get through 50 lines and realize that I translated it so well that the whole thing makes perfect sense :P .
  24. Has anyone found if a combination of ice Ancients and black salamander magic (diagonally) is good? If so I gota get my hands on one 8-) .
