  1. Hell no. And if they scammed me, they wouldn't exactly be my friend, now would they?
  2. Bro was blocking Dharok for me, noob comes in acting innocent. End of fight he lines up behind me, runs straight through my brother, BAM 57 in my face. Finished off Dharok and spent 10 minutes laughing at him. ROFL, you can have 99 hp >_> Why is it that many Tip.iters feel an utter need to flame others when they don't even understand the full situation of the person he or she is flaming? He used a frikking Sara Brew dude.
  3. Take a month off, do other stuff. Couple times in the past I just couldn't find anything to do in the game, so I took one month breaks. Got back, loved the game again.
  4. Ya, I'm on your exact position :? . Which I'm sure I've said too many times, but if I didn't say something I know someone else will -.- .
  5. Well, one could argue the case.... Anyways, welcome back :P . I recognize your name at least  .
  6. Okay, I have successfully been swayed to change my opinion  . I guess it'd be kinda cool to see who's got some high levels without having to go through the hassle of looking them up. Come to think of it, total experience would be cool too to see who's got more variation in their levels (i.e., someone with a 1400 total would have a higher exp total than someone else with a 1400 total if he had more high and low levels and less middle/average levels). I'll just have to go on not caring what others think of my levels  .
  7. I once did 10 on a Saturday a few months ago, but now I either do zero, half an hour to talk with people (or play a game of Castle Wars), or two to three on a Deekday day. Average maybe 5 hours a week.
  8. Dude, you're not experienced enough for this :? . Go on a few more trips with the SODB people, get some experience, get some rep. Myself, I almost never range, (got pathetic stats for it  ) so you're "not unexperienced" if you've only maged. Just get like a dozen or two trips under your belt and get known enough for sharing drops and being trusted with 10M+ of someone's death pile. I can as well :P .
  9. Looks like we've got another mod who got to his position by being report-happy  . Eh, I suppose it's an easier way to inflate one's ego then trying to get high stats.
  10. The fact that it's worse than crack :-$ .
  11. Got a left half a few months ago, been playing for over two years. Well, I've goten Dragon Axes, but I kinda lost count on those, so I don't really count them  .
  12. Get anything from earlier today? :-s Anyways, I merchant. 8-) Meh, Dragon Axe, Archer Ring, Warrior that trip. Not great but it puts bread on the table.
  13. 100% Dagganoth Kings. Then the evil Ice Barrage eats up all my cash   .
  14. I hate it how people judge others by their levels. If that idea was implemented I wouldnt be surprised if I got plenty of "noob, go train Hunting" responses or others of the sort from idiots who think that I should do something I don't want to do. What is it with people and thinking that others have to have a certain total level at specific combat levels? Why do so many people feel it right to spend their time doing stuff they don't want to do, let alone tell me to do stuff I don't want to do? So, no, having total level shown wouldn't be a good idea >_>.
  15. I don't know. I lag IRL. Apparently this thread is the strongest spam magnet in existence. That's the kind of answer that just annoys me >_>. You're basically defining Runescape as a natural necessity. Let's get some real answers please. Well, what's fun about it? Please don't say Fletching, that's just wrong :-s . I personally don't find most of the game fun, so it doesn't seem like an obvious answer. Enlighten me. There we go, finally a decent answer (among many others that it would be considered spam to add to this post). That I can agree with as sound. Life can be stressful, even I find Runescape to be a nice breather :). Man, I feel like the author's personal mod secretary  .
  16. We should seriously ban quitting threads. This is just getting annoying.
  17. 5. I used to have about 15, but I handed out a bunch at my 94 mage party and to random strangers, as I don't really need 'em  .
  18. Unless you're bored of the game beyond all levels of comprehension, see you next week. Seriously, I know this is bad, but most 'Scapers are like that now. They're either an immature Stage 1 five year old, or a teenager who's so immature that they feel that just because they're wearing a mask in game means they have a right to be cruel. Usually they're just low lifes in the "real world", who take out they're anger and greed on others in the game, feeling that there will be no consequence for there actions. Again, Stage 1. Nearly all players are like that nowadays, so I'm sure you'll find good friends here at Tip.it (try Edge w99) and have a great time playing the game. Note: Stage 1 refers to Kohlberg's stages of Morality- it is living with a mentality that "if I don't get punished for it, it's fine to do." Way to many 'Scapers play this way.
  19. Magic. Everything I do in this game is centered around this skill 8-) .
  20. Most people, excluding the author, realize that idiot is in no way the correct term for people who "have it easy". PC Product is useful to use because it gives a name to those who did things much easier than the user of the term had to. There's no denying that many recent updates have made things much much easier than they were "back in the old days". So you can target the author, but that post really pertained to no one else here :? .
  21. First of all, FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST FTW! (siggy) Second, alchemy was in old times a theory of "alchemists", that is a type of scientist before the chemists, that lead could be turned into gold. The show really just used the cool word and it's relation to science to make a cool show with a sweet name. Jagex is using the old, real usage of the term "alchemy". I know  . I mean, what's up with him changing the metal of his arm? Where's the expansion or contraction with the release and adding of electrons, protons, and neutrons? Where the heck is the radioactivity!? And turning Sloth into ethanol. She's made of water! H2O! Where the heck did he get all that carbon for ethanol!?!!
  22. I'll make this simple: You would need probably a hundred thousand runs to actually come close to proving any of this. 3 lucky Barrows items in a row doesn't constitute this rumor, let alone proven data.
  23. It's because every day the average age of the Runescape player drops, and with a younger target audience Jagex had to make things easy, stupid, and efficient. Can't have their money dying to some monster and quitting, no, they need something easy to keep their new baby audience attached. Thus the advent of Pest Control. I completely understand why people would call others "PC Products", including myself having goten a few million magic experience there. They have every right to call us that Tro and others- it's not because they can't find a "good PC clan"- a lot of those people calling people PC Products already have 99's, so there's no point to that argument. Realize that we did what they did in maybe 30% of the time, with maybe 1% of the risk. I'd also like to add a tad bit of sheer irony: I hate all skills, all quests, pretty much everything in the game that doesn't involve PvP or taking down a tough monster. Guess what the one exception is? Ya, it's Pest Control  . You guys all love everything and hate PC, saying it's boring, but I can actually stand it for a couple thousand points. Of course, I do multitask while I PC :P .
  24. Spending your free time clicking on something over and over.. honorable... *cough. Can everyone please enlighten me as to how having a high skill total means one deserves respect? Seriously, the Runescape player mind is warped. For Christ's sake, we are congratulating a guy for sitting in his basement doing mindless tasks that take no skill, nor mental ability beyond the capacity of a 3 year old, and wasting his life away. I mean, I almost look down on higher skill levels :? . I'm sure some people have realistic drives for these levels other than addiction, but I still fail to see any aspect of having a high level that really deserves respect from others. Please, try and avoid the flames- I know it's tempting; heck, reading through that again I practically want to flame myself. I want an honest, truthful answer to this; my question(s) aren't rhetorical. Why do you respect people who have high levels? Is there anything beyond admiring patience there?
