  1. I remember when there was no PC. And one actually had to work to get 120 combat :ohnoes: .
  2. Noting sig, this is the kind of guy I both agree with and respect 8-) (very nice post; I saw nothing to argue with you about :o :P ). Very few things in this game are worthy of respect (i.e., castle wars legend, monster boss pioneers) and expert pker is one of the few occupations on the list 8-) .
  3. Amen to that (bolded part). Personally, I don't enjoy PK'ing, but it's probably the most exciting thing in the game. Killing Rex from a safespot or killing Prime with prayer is nothing compared to PvP.
  4. Nah, it's probably going to get a lot of responses, but there's probably not going to be much conversation at all; people will just be saying their favorite skill and leaving afterwards :wall: . [Okay, I contradicted myself. Still, conversation on the topic will be limited :P .]
  5. Gratz on 97 dude. As for me, 94 mage party tonight with the SODB 8-) .
  6. Lol dude, you need to learn about economy :P .
  7. No no, I was referring to Prayer with Gilded altars :P . Interesting how runecrafting still works there too though :-k . As for the answer of getting a high level and becoming rich, I see how they differ from hunter (which I havn't tried, but I'm guessing there's no profit). I was asking a question more along the lines of "why play the game?", not necessarily "how does it benefit you in the game?" Either way, most skills in Runescape don't seem all that fun, which is why I'm confused that people do them :-# .
  8. What is the point of standing at a tree chopping it for hundreds of hours? What is the point of clicking on the same rock over and over for months? What is the point of sitting in a bank clicking on bows? What is the point of sitting at a fishing spot doing nothing? What is the point of running in circles around a monotonous course? What is the point of clicking on a monster that is so weak that you don't even have to look at the screen when fighting it? What is the point of making thousands of the same piece of armor? What is the point of running back and forth from a bank to click on the same altar? No seriously, what's the point of it all?
  9. Anyone who thinks PK'ing is wrong is most likely too weak, in skills levels and/or pk'ing ability, to survive in the wilderness. Me, I've never pked in my life, and don't intend to. I personally don't like it -it makes either my day or someone elses bad- so I stay out of the wilderness to avoid my personal lose-lose situation. Does that mean I think I pk'ing is wrong? No. Lol, such a weird topic, and so odd it made it 5 pages... And before anyone asks (I'm too lazy to check, but I'm sure this thread is either headed or has already gone into yet another RC pker flame war), the only reason I don't like RC pkers is because they make those rocks with the shiny green symbols on 'em go up in price.
  10. The average Patience level at Tip.it is about 3.
  11. Personally, this seems pretty normal compared to some of the other Jagex replies I've read here at Tip.it.. .
  12. I'd say my top three, but nowadays I only do two things: Castle Wars, and fund it with Dagganoth Kings.
  13. I go to a Catholic Jesuit school. I HATE religion in schools. I don't mind the work, but getting religion shoved down your throat in high school... ack.
  14. No, that isn't an npc- that's a real person. You gota wonder how many souls he traded into the devil for that name, ay? It's probably the best username I've ever seen.
  15. Nice post, but you basically dragged on the following short idea for a few paragraphs, without adding much to it: "As more money is added to the game, it becomes worth less (basic rule of inflation). With money coming in faster than it is going out, gp, and therefore items based in value on said gp, become worth less." This is a concept in Runescape that we've understood for years :? , so I don't totally understand what you were trying to tell us. That, and that tangent on interest rates doesn't even pertain to Runescape at all, so there was no point in mentioning it.
  16. Meh, I guess I can edit out my spam >_<.
  17. You get most of your free time taken away by work, and then say that again. Until then I'm pretty sure you don't have a right to include that last sentence. Sorry, but going to a high school with about 5-7 hours of homework a night, that post REALLY ticked me off.
  18. EDIT: Nevermind, it appears it's over lol.
  19. Sorry Reb, but the way that you talk about Magic isn't an addiction, it's just trying to tell everyone that you want everyone to bow down to you...I know I'm not the only one that's sick of it. Besides, get 99 magic, THEN say the things you say...-.- And yes, I know i'm not 99 myself, But I will be there, shortly. Dude, just because I don't have the time to get 100 PC points a day (which honestly has nothing to do with Magic anyways) doesn't mean I can't love the skill. It's probably the only skill I really love. Though, I'm probably more of the type of guy who likes the idea of Magic itself, not necessarily training it. This is probably reversing our usual roles, but what's with the attitude? If anyone else here says their sick of my liking magic please do so, 'cause I have no idea where the hell that came from. EDIT: Also, from your post I'm not sure if you got this, but I structured my post in such a way as to be humorous (as to give it the appearance of a post of a real addict). I don't think it was meant to tell everyone to bow down :-s .

  21. ROW affects Rune drops, but not the actual Barrows items. These theories have all been pretty much shut down months ago, so I personally don't see this thread going far.
  22. amish paradise is pretty old Oh well. I don't typically watch YouTube videos, or runescape ones on there either. :o ! May God condemn your soul! That was pretty funny  . As stated above, it's nice to see some humor in Runescape.
  23. Answers in the sig. I don't understand how it seems more impressive to people that someone spent more time playing the game...
  24. Other than practically quadrupiling my typing speed, it's given me something to fall back on after an intense session of high school homework  . Oh, and the friends at SODB are great  . Can't say much for anything else though. Runescape isn't exactly the kind of game that you learn something from  .
