  1. About a year ago someone died at the Hellhounds and I got his Ranger Boots, along with other stuff. I was going to give it back, then I found out how much the Ranger Boots were worth. I forget if I ran into the guy who died, but if I did I think I gave everything back but the Ranger boots  .
  2. Here ill help you out. RUN TOWARDS THE LADDER. If you got through his ego-infested post, you'd notice that he was mostly referring to tactics involving beating the lurer while still within the lair :P .
  3. It's still not fact, it could have been nothing but luck for those runes. Yeah, I kinda messed up that formula. I used number of trips instead of number of barrow items. 1000 was a good number for statistical proof. But you need items, not trips, to make the margin of error formula. I have not gotten 1000 items. lol. Besides, Jagex has said KC doesn't improve chances on an item. So I was wrong. Lol, I was going to ask you about that. Got scared by all the stat people, me having only taken a basic stat class a year ago, but 700 trips didn't seem like it would supply anywhere close to the number of items for a proper sample size  .
  4. Lol, with recent prices you'd have to live at the Dagganoth Kings to make 10M a week... that, and you'd need the skill and luck not to get killed by a Lurer. A bad death could mean losing 10M instead of making 10M :? . As for this death, to be honest, he owned you, and you almost deserved it. I mean, the same guy, same world, exactly the same scenario, I almost congratulate the guy. Eh, lurers are annoying, but they make it harder so the real DK'ers can DK without getting pestered by noob DK'ers 8-) .
  5. Getting owned by a Sara Wiz, first one I ever fought, at about lvl 70. Of course, I was smart enough to bring Full Guthix to the fight, it being nearly all the cash I had.
  6. I don't know why we don't just have a BA world. The PC set world didn't work well because of all the low levels, but if everyone went to one world picking out the high levels wouldn't be too hard. The only way it wouldn't work is if EVERY high level in the game stopped playing  . So, this idea took a while to come up, but good job :) .
  7. This is what is happening to TIF. Basically turning into the RSB, slowly -.- .
  8. I seen ppl sell for 9m and seen ppl buy at 40m. U dont need this ammy thing reb, unless ur mage staking that is. Eh, I don't stake, but Mage is like all I play this game for  . I'm obsessive when it comes to making sure I always have the perfect mage gear :anxious: .
  9. Ya, sarcasm may not be quite as easy to detect over the internet as it is "irl", but it's pathetically obvious that this is sarcastic people  . Way to put it in perspective for people whining about "the other class" being overpowered :P .
  10. Kill Steel Dragons and bury their bones. I swear, I get like a dozen Leo's a trip... As for the thread, I'll be back later with a "pity me" story, can't think of any now.
  11. Can we frikking stop spreading this rumor? It's been killed countless times, let's stop trying to revive it. Slayer Dart is generally used against Rex and the Barrows bros. Both of these monster types have something like negative infinity mage defense, and that is why Slayer Dart was thought not to be affected. It IS affected, so delete that part of your post please. I don't think I know a single person that comes anywhere close to fullfilling this class. Can you expound on this idea? I mean, I know 99 Prayer people, but they're generally something like maxed out in combat and/or Mage and/or Range. Prayer seems like more of a side thing to aid all three classes; it doesn't appear to be a class of its own. I agree with the rest of your post for the most part though, very interesting stuff :P .
  12. There goes my perfect mage bonus -.- . So, how many mils am I guna have to tear out of Rex for these new accessories?
  13. Berserker Ring a week or two after DK's came out (before I even joined Tip lol).
  14. Maybe 3 before I have to kill something.
  15. I don't respect any of the capes. The general populace would probably go for Slayer or Agility though, those are fairly tough in comparison to other skills.
  16. Lol, I read that first line, and I was like, "Hm, I recognize that..." You do know that even the Elrics eventually went against that theory for how the worlds is and should function, right? :P
  17. Easier? Easier? I don't know if you played RSC, but when it was around mining was relatively far less difficult than it is now. Imagine being able to continuously mine iron, regardless of inventory space--that's RSC mining. As it is now, Mining is already one of the most difficult skills to train. Before this it was 50K - 55K xp. How many skills are slower than that, potentially 5? This really just doesn't make sense to me, that they're making one of the more difficult skills ever harder. I can see nerfing PC, I can see nerfing PPlunder, but why nerf mining? I would agree with your statement if the said powerlevelers were debuffed, but certainly not mining. I honestly don't get it. I was referring to wakka's whining about not being able to power level there anymore, not the update itself. We know the little kids and the low levels want things easier so that they can get up to the high levels, but when the elites are whining about things getting harder then you know Jagex is stuck. The more ya'll whine about this update, the less likely it is that PC will ever get nerfed. And God knows how many of us want that to happen. Disclaimer: I agree with your post Dub :P.
  18. I suppose this proves that Jagex really is forced to make everything easier.
  19. As much of a difficult concept as this is to grasp, there is virtually nothing in this game that it worth doing without a reward. The only exception I can think of is Castle Wars, but many guys play that for the armor, so that almost doesn't even work as an example. People play this game to get rewards, to compete with friends, to make their character the best they can be. That can include anything from levels, to money, to cool armor, and so on. This mini game? Are you seriously telling people that running around, clicking on Healers mindlessly, and getting screamed at by teammates, with no reward for any of this annoying effort, is fun? Saying it doesn't give good enough rewards isn't selfish, so stop attacking other people's motives for no reason. Please don't tell me that people avoiding wasting their time doing something they find neither fun nor rewarding is selfish. As I said before, people play to make their character better. Honestly, nothing in this game is exhilirating- I fall asleep at the Dagganoth Kings. Some parts of this game may be relaxing, it may be cool to get a level, it may be addicting, and for some it's a great ego booster. Some parts of the Runescape might be considered fun, but this mini game doesn't fall anywhere close to that category. It's a game of bickering between friends, of getting annoyed by the food changing as a healer, or the runner getting away, or attacking with the wrong style, or just getting ticked for not having your friend call out. With no reward to compensate for the utter pathetic level of "fun" this game contains this was, and will always be, a bomb.
  20. You're making this look like it belongs in Help and Advice, but from reading it it seems like you want people to help you build the temple. So, is it the quest you want help with, or do you want to plan a temple building event? If it's the latter, you may want to change your title.
  21. World 99 is already empty. Other worlds are following suit, but the bigger worlds will hold up a little longer.
