love or hate rares?
I do agree killing high level monsters for drops to sell and making 20mill is respectable. But what about the person who buys that rare and makes 20 mill off it and while thats happening kills the same high level monster and makes another 20mill? Then I'd respect the 20M he earned while killing monsters/skilling/merchanting, and not respect the money he let grow in his bank. I'm not disrespecting the person here, just the method.

Reset
Though I'm completely against a reset, as the idea is purely ludicrous both in the minds of most players and the company of Jagex, my sig agrees with the rest of your post. Most people play for the hiscores and for a slight increase in their ego, or friends and competing with them (again, hiscores). C'mon, I get bored at the frikking Dagganoth Kings, this game isn't exciting or fun because of the basic gameplay people. It's all relative. Sure, not everyone has them, but do they seem all that great anymore?

need volunteers for guide
and to leave out low level creatures such as rabbits? How are you going to test rabbits? Their going to get 1 hit no matter what style you use.

Yes, try something like a couple 100, or even 1000.

Are you a "Old Timer" or a "RS2 product"?
There's a 'Smith X' now o_O? I think it'd have been better if this thread was set up like a poll. To me, it seems like the author just wanted to know the ratio of "Rs2 products" to "Old timers", not have YET ANOTHER FRIKKING POINTLESS argument about which type is better.

Mauls.....are they underrated?
Lol, let it sink in, the first time is always weird  . As said before, I prefer a DDS over the maul spec. Not only because it's way better, but because it looks much cooler too  .

*~* Costume Contest *~* [Winners Announced]
I dont think they are any winners...Shadow left Icecube with the contest. Lol, I don't have much cash on me at the moment, so, being a judge, he better not have bailed  . Still, I don't understand the logic behind him bailing. Unless he wanted to leave Tip.it doing some cool event (to get fame) and then later having people hate him, there'd be no reason to set something like this up and then just leave :? .

700 plus 126's
A lvl 45 has enough content to play for the next 5 years. High lvl content however has dried up, we have done pretty much every thing and nothing is a challenge anymore, so no every ones oppinion isnt equal, a lvl 45 saying he is quitting becouse he has nothing to do shouldnt be using a computer becouse he is clearly an imbecile. A lvl 110 - 126 saying the same thing probably has a point. I can see what your getting at, and pretty much agree with you. What I basically meant to say is that even though the 110+ is generally smarter and understands the game more, thus making their opinion more valued, the counter of being outnumbered something like 20:1 by lower levels makes it so the large, general population of newbs (the non-negative/technical connotation used here) can equal or even overpower the opinion of the lvl 110+. Here's an example of a discussion that's been going around recently: Let's say 10% of the members, generally high levels, want Jagex to stop making easier updates and make it tough like they had it when they leveled, along with making cool new bosses and minigames for those with higher skills and levels. Sure, tougher updates would be cooler for the game and satisfy those players' desire, but is there intelligient opinion really going to overpower the other 90% who want it easy? To my earlier point though, that's trusting too much on the maturity/intelligience:level correlation, which is slowly weakening with the advent of PC and other updates that make the game much easier to level combat. 100+'s aren't as smart as they used to be.

700 plus 126's
Heck no. Anyone who has goten 120+ already has an insane amount of dedication to the game, no matter how hard you look at it. To that point, there is no reason for Jagex to make updates for high levels- not only are they few in comparison the the rest of the community, but they're dedication means that they're not going to leave over an update like PC. Might get ticked, but not leave. Basically, you said, "Jagex will raise the cap to attract those people back into the game." My response is, "Who's leaving?" Jagex might add more high level updates if more and more people get 110+, but they're not raising the cap. If they did, well, then they'd just have to start the cycle over and make things even easier. No point to that, to be honest. Players are money. A lvl 45 member's opinion is just as important as a lvl 126's.

2007 Exp Chart for All Skills
No way lol.. :P At the rate Jagex is going with easier and easier updates, the hypothesis seems possible :? .

>>> Max Hit With New Keris Dagger? <<<
You need to regenerate your humor gland. And as for the 102, nice hit, but I still think Golv's 100 was better  . More risk, more difficulty, and as far as we know it we can still go past 102 as well :P . i think the 102 is more impresive becuase its a one hit mele So is Golv's. I'm referring to his Dharok 100 hit on a shade, not Odd's [mildly insane] 235 in the abyss.

Should jagex release more updates like this?
You guys need to realize that the average age of 'Scapers is lower than it used to be, and if I'm right, getting lower as we speak. For that reason Jagex must satiate the younger players' hunger for easier updates and less work to get the levels they want. If they don't make safe, easy, efficient updates, well, they could lose some money on that :| . Basically, few players nowadays are anywhere near as dedicated as, say, the bloggers in the Blog forum. For that reason, to keep their players hooked on the game Jagex MUST make things easier for players. Otherwise people will just train, find the game extremely boring and too difficult to get what they want, and do something else. Bye-bye to that piggy bank.

wow, look at this picture
Lol, you guys are thinking too hard on some of these... Apparently to some of you anything with three dots placed equally apart is the same as two eyes and a mouth. That, and any edge of land with three bumps is a face. I'll admit though, some of these are pretty nice finds :o!

What Grinds Your Gears?
If you're asking what my name means, it's R.ed E.yes B.lack Dragon. The acronym, and the pic of the sweet dragon, are in my avatar :o . It's annoying how many people think my name is the cliche and boring "Red dragon." For that reason, avoid calling me Red in a situation where I can directly harm you physically. My ability to damage you mentally is somewhat limited, but I'm getting better at it, so watch out. And yes, anyone who uses their "main" as a threat needs to grow up :-$ . Isn't that in that t.v. cartoon yu-gi-oh? Indeed :o! Made this account about 2 and a half years ago when I thought the show was pretty good, but sadly I outgrew it :| . Still love the REBD too much to ever regret choosing that name though. I mean, look at it o_O. If I ever had to make a second choice though, it'd probably be Fullmetal Alchemist related, and have no numbers. Best anime ever (:P at Sat). Still, I love having people find out they're dumber than a "Yu-Gi-Oh kid" . But we digress.

love or hate rares?
You might, by why does that mean we have to? If somebody wants to invest in a rare and another person wants to sell a rare and they can agree upon a price and you aren't either of the people why do you care? Also I bought a mask and put it in the bank, I've left it there and now I've made over 20mill on it (don't know its exact price). I'm an idiot for making 20mill without doing anything? For once I kinda agree with supermonk. Though rares are great for cash, I don't really respect people much for making millions a day having some rares they bought cheap growing in price every second. I respect the people who work hard for their cash, and though rares cost a bit nowadays, they're just bought to make "easy cash." It's definitely a smart move, but I respect supermonk's methods much more. Well, unless it involves cheating and luring, which wouldn't surprise me. See, that 20M you earned? Smart move, yes. But while you have that thing sit in your bank while you do nothing, I or someone else might be out working hard and killing Dagganoth kings for 20M. Who do I respect more, the person who doesn't do anything to make that 20M, just simply lets it grow with no effort? Or do I respect the man who defeats tough monsters or works hard in Runecrafting or other skills (that try patience) to make that cash? It's probably stupid of me, but it just doesn't sit right with me to make cash without doing anything for it. ~ And to everyone saying rares "look good", it's just because the value of the item creates the illusion of it looking good  . As an example, purple often looks pretty bad on men nowadays, but back when purple dye was rare it was the color of kings and looked amazing among those who could afford it. It's all simply because of the value of the item creating the illusion of it looking cool. .

Barbarian Assault Gambling.... Post your bounty
After carefully debating between lvl 5 Defender and a 500 gamble, I decided on Gamble because I was already stopping everyone at Lvl 4 Defender :P, so there was no point in getting 5. Got 42 Blood Runes. Eh, at least it's 21 Barrages.

Free 'useless items'!
My argument? Give it to this guy.

Pest Control best scores??
"Best/highest" score in Pest Control doesn't generally mean "good". It just means your team, rather than be smart and attack the portals, just attacked monsters. CW total kills are a good representation that highest score being good. PC damage done, eh, not so much.

Barbarian Assault Gambling.... Post your bounty
You'll get another small "bump" of recorded data over the weekend, but after that this game is fairly dead. I might do another 500 points, not sure though, especially with the data I've seen so far >_<.

Runescape emotions and your life?
Geez, the first time I lagged out at the DK's... that was bad. It was like 50%-of-your-grade-exam-tomorrow stress.
