Such a filter has not been needed in the past, and moderators are here to help organize the forum topics so this topic is locked. Mods usually watch out if too many threads on the same topic arrise but if you see that happen feel free to PM one of us to check into it.

Merged a few similar topics into this one. Please use only this topic to discuss/speculate the GE's effect on economy.

All that happened is that too many topics were opened with speculations about the same upcoming updates. I'll check the topics later to see if any can be merged and try to keep all the discussion in a few topics. It is annoying to have 5 two-page topics on the same thing.

Indeed that is the point of this forum. If you want to disprove someone, support your reply with facts that can be sourced because nothing in this topic can be considered common knowledge (besides the fact that both are websites on the internet). Don't be offended if someone disagrees, and certainly do not start flaming.

I speak/read/understand fluently French, Spanish, and English. It used to be the same with Italian and Portuguese but lack of use around here makes it so it takes me a while to speak it but I can read/understand it just fine.

Awsome RTS, it really has strategy from the first age. In many RTS's, it all comes down to who is fastest to the last age/technologies, but in AOE2, you have to watch out from nearly the start, not just race to the finish and fight. If there's games set up I'll join up, maybe with Age of Conquerors too.

I see a lot of your art comes from memory or imagination, maybe try drawing while looking at real people or even just pictures to help visualize what people look like.

It doesn't really belong here though either since he didn't make it so I'm thinking this should probably just be locked. It's OK if it's posted here as long as the poster states that he didn't make it. In the future if you think an action needs to be taken, PM a mod but don't ask it publicly since that kind of discussion does not belong on the topic.

Needs more shading but I'd suggest first practicing to perfect your anatomy and only after try to make signatures :)

Thanks, I like pencil drawings as well. I plan to work on shading on my next piece, as soon as I get it to the point where it's ready for color. Also, do you think I should outline my drawings in black ink? I've been doing that since I started, and I've kind of grown to it... but does it look good? No you should not, color pencil drawings can achieve a much greater realism when no black outlines are used. As long as your shading is clear, you won't need any black outlining. Shading is tough, but I'd suggest spending a lot of time on shading one drawing rather than a little time on a series of drawings.

Very nice, i like how the trees slowly fade away.

Nice one, maybe animate it shooting the arrow?

Very colorful, maybe add a simple border or make the text interact with the sun a bit.

Nice simple use of lines, maybe reverse the colors? (black ground + white lines)

I like your coloring style. Anatomy is a bit odd in some places, fix the thighs and feet a bit.

That's looking great. Add a cast shadow from the WC axe so the shadow hits the tree (the moon causes it). Work on the legs a bit, maybe sit in that position to see how they really are. The rune kite shield doesn't seem very metallic, try to make its shading different from the rest so it stands out as something metallic. Maybe move it to the other side so you can use the moonlight to make a shining effect. Add a few extra bright dots on the pile of gold for those oddly placed coins that reflect extra well. Maybe add some jewelery. The character has the moon shining his back only so his front should be pretty dark.

Pretty nice, it's even better when it blends in with the forum SubBlack layout.

Looking good so far, just make sure you don't make it up as you go and have it all planned out right now (so it all fits together nicely).
