No flaming please. Jagex wanted to clearly show what's not allowed once and for all, and due to all the hackings, doesn't seem they'll change it back. Finally a clear stand to the rule.

Can you give an example (link) of too many pics? Otherwise I think this would restrict many, including those that post entire galleries of art in Gallery. :)

No, because sometimes users may not like replies from other users, so they'd abuse the lock power by not allowing people to post replies that don't break rules. Remember you can just report a topic if you think it needs locking.

Gallery is the only place in the forums where edited images are allowed, it's in the right place.

Some spam removed that was clearly posted just to flame personally the author. That stuff won't be tolerated here, don't attack people or their artwork just due to a comment they made.

Yep use that guide or ask in the Tech forums for help reguarding a program. :)

If the deadline of the NEXT round is january 2nd, that'd give me enough time to still stay in this. :D But I don't want everyone waiting for just one person to be back (me :P ), but who knows maybe a lot of people will be busy due to holidays and may want an extention on the next round as well.

Well I'll be gone from the 24th to the 1st so I guess you'd have to take me off the competition since I won't be around. But, this round was fun, looking forward to see what everyone entered when I'm back. :)

It's nicely colored, the only thing I see missing is a background besides the sky. Perhaps add some hills in the back, or a forest, or town, up to you. :P Maybe a few more clouds so that one isn't so lonely. :) Finally, a border to finish it up would be great. :)

Parents dont play the game, so they won't read that part. The news post was made to warn parents it's against the rules to buy RS items for $$$, as many parents may not know of RS rules.

Sorry about this being inactive, I'll have to continue with more themes when I can figure out to make it more efficient. That GFX events team is an idea I'll think about and talk with the other gallery mods, but for now I'l sticky the SotW topic as a nice alternative. :)

Please don't make this post overdramatic with the "oh noes Jagex killing fansites". The news itself doesn't have anything to do with fansites. Jagex is simply stating that sometimes users post fake RS/Jagex websites in their official forums, and to not go to them. When they say fake RS websites, they mean websites that look exactly like the runescape.com website, but is not the real one, and will steal your password.

Amazing work, very realistic. It was fun to zoom it up on Paint.

If you want a really hot fire, make the center and bottom white, surrounded by yellow, some orange, and only the tip and trim around the top to be red. The best way really is to look up some fire pics in google, RL references are always great resources.

how can it be grainy and shiney at the same time?? :? Well sand is grainy but shiny when the sun hits it really brightly. Probably what I ment to say was, try to stay away from pillowshading metal armor.
