Jagex: Cool idea! I like this idea very much. I will pass the idea along to the original team who designed it and see what they think about giving a black mask to rangers and mages. I see no reason why this will not be added to the game. ..Ofcourse you may have a very long wait..

I think he means that someone who's name sounds like a name. Something without random lettters, full of number, or a D at the end. Like SmellySocks isn't exactly a hero's type of name. Yes exactly. Gertjaars or whatever isnt as terrible as gertjarrs465353 but its still awfull for a #1 player. Sorry I couldnt be bothered to look up how to spell is name a second time, or maybe I got it right. :P

Zarfot is my favourite player. Look up his info for alot of comparisons to mine. He is the only real reliable source I trust. I feel he has the power to overthrow zezima if he got #1 spot. This gert guy would have to be #1 for a few years before he achieved it. Unfortunately I dont like his account name and zarfot sounds cooler too. Just like 'zezima' - 'zarfot' sounds like a #1 player account to be famous. Gertjaars sounds like he comes out of starwars or something.

Seems like they should of began with something a little better than usermanes to identify.. however anyway.. I dont mind the update as obviously due to what they have im guessing it takes alot of effort to make such a system. Which is nice of them. However on a personal level I already like my username and only possibly will try to get 'bazza' or 'baz' instead. Otherwise I dont mind what I got already.

;-( Your mistake was answering. Dont worry you can learn from your mistakes and next time just ignore them. Trust me. More times than not. They will go away. If not - Its rare and just try your best to ignore them and let them waste their time. Ofcourse its not. I have had people accuse me of 'autoing' whiling moving around runescape doing different tasks.. So.. yeh.. Ignore them. Sometimes you can reply but personally anyone who is rude or such to me I ignore. Its not rl and I cant do much about it if someone decides to be rude to me. I learnt enough from past experiences its pointless and easier to ignore them.

I dont usually experience that problem that much. There are by far much worse. If it does happen its by such incredibly low stat people that its obviously ignorance and it doesnt bother me. Ditto with other things that I know about but others dont. Knowledge > Not knowing. I mean once upon a time I didnt understand training skills beyond 99 but its pretty much the norm for me now.. I get alot questions but its cool as I didnt understand it at one point in my life. Besides I just say 'I wanna' and they say 'lol then its all over and done with. I dont usually experience negative opinions. As for those who bash others achievements it really must be down to ignorance + jealousy. Some just like to hate. It seems impossibe to achieve alot of things but once you do you want more. Well some people do. Things like youtube comments is because its the internets. If someone uploads a youtube video they cant really intimidate those who post. Meaning people do what they want without fear. That and many of the people are children.. Children can be brats. Its the same in rl.

IMO. Slayer because it will get your other skill capes too - Inc attack, defence, strength, Hp, summoning and maybe range. Otherwise runecraft as its better. Herblore then construction. All those capes are very impressive. But hit points sucks besides the fact it has a cute heart on it which if you got a gf she might think its cute too.

Yes it is. Software is always being tested on you, and simply denying it doesn't make it untrue. Jagex does do extensive bug testing, and as I've said already, hopping on the "omg jagaz dose no bug chex" is just an ignorant, whiny copout. Telling its true doesnt make it true either. Things are tested beforehand for the bulk of bugs and if they didnt people wouldnt buy their product due the sheer volume of bugs. Whining at people because they are fedup with the volume of bugs is counter productive against those who want a better service from them. Aka - Those who dont kiss their [wagon]. Its a f-ing company that I pay for entertainment. Fanboys or not that shouldnt stop people speaking their minds. I dont think its out of hand to complain about bloody bugs that keep ruining gameplay nearly every update. Is it your prerogative to cry like a barely coherent child? I think we've already nailed down the fact that there are bugs that cannot be found without live testing. Hiring new people would do nothing. Lol k. They do have the right to complain. There's a massive difference in complaining and whinging, of which the average scaper tends to lean on the latter. Again thats wrong. People complain because they do not feel satisfied by jagex service. Whinging on the otherhand is exactly what your doing. There is no call whinging at players who have a complaint about the service of a company. Unless ofcourse your a jagex big boss who doesnt wish to thoroughly have the programming checked before risking it on their players. (Again thats not directed at the programmers or testers)

Heres my green dragon. I am currently growing my blue.. Takes a while. Will finish off both fm and wc tomorrow on evil trees. Should also note that in a little over a week I achieve 99 farming!!£%" However my goal is for level 100..... So im nearly done with all that planting by the end of the year!!!$£%£!! Which is an odd concept as I have had a farming cycle like... forever.. and to stop it seems strange. However I probably got a few more months of it to go. I just dotting around at the moment until I get home as I prefer to have a decent working mouse.. Think I get 94 runecraft just to finish off that old goal I never got around to. Here is a skill bar for the occasion! However first I want to grow both my blue and red dragon so I may end up doing some fishing as its the easist way.

Thankyou! Its appreciated. - Goal update...! I am boosting my lower stats upto 87 just for neatness. (Had to get a level in construction a few days ago) That means Herblore, thieving and hunter. That also means im getting 4m+ in all my stats. WOooOT! I already done two of them lol. However herblore might take a month or something as im only using free xp on it. I would like to note that both of these skills I dont particually like but more importantly I HATE hunter with a passion. So well done to me for achieving these.

British? Arrogance? I don't see the connection. That's all MMO developers, only some of them use Public Test Servers to test those updates before they're released. Doesn't get rid of all bugs though. People who are smarter don't test anything until some time after release because that's the deal with ALL software. Anyone who has a lot of experience with MMOs/Software will tell you a few things: You don't get into an MMO until a few months after launch, you don't buy a new operating system until about six months after launch, you don't fly into new content on an MMO with all of your precious items on you, and there's no way for a company to accurately stress test how the server will react under live stress. You have unrealistic expectations for an MMO. These bug tests are easier on any other genre because there's less load to work with, and a development team can easily simulate the load on, say, a 32 man server. The only explanation is: Stuff happens. Take a look at several times when random updates caused the floor to warp in various areas of the game. As for server load affecting teleport: The servers were unable to pull the player's POH off of the external server where player owned houses are kept (POH's are stored on separate servers, that is fact). Due to the teleport location not being spawned, the server responded with an "invalid teleport" I'm not saying that's what happened, but it is a reasonable explanation. If I download software that I PAID for and it broke my pc they better fix it or I stop paying/switch software. Mainly as I need my pc to work and I cant be bothered with a program that makes everything else broke. Again... It is not acceptable for game braking bugs, bugs that make us lose items/gp, that prevent us doing routine tasks or bugs that put us in some kinda danger - The majority of the upates. I hardly ever have updates for paid software that brake my pc. There might be bugs in there but it doesnt crash my pc anymore than is to be expected from conflicting software which is a totally different matter that jagex doesnt have to deal within the game itself. Your wrong about me getting those pc braking bugs that give me in any particular hassle. Sure software has bugs but they still function how they are ment to most the time. The most bugs I experience on my pc that give me problems is while playing runescape and possibly other pc games. If say my internet banking doesnt work.. for 10 months straight! I f-ing complain to the bank if they want me to continue to be with them. Any service I use - espeically those I pay for! - I expect to work WELL. I dont expect to be the tester no. And no most software isnt tested directly on me. I choose to beta test some things but I just dont see what programs I am currently working that are in a 'beta testing stage' or whatever. They are stuff that works and had been tested previously. There is a difference between doing all you can to fix bugs and then release content experiencing new unfound bugs, to just releasing content without extensive enough bug checking. (Again that isnt the testers fault though) Its your prerogative to kiss jagex [wagon] but to me its obvious they are not up to standard this year. If they wish to repolish code then they should either a) spend more time on it B) Hire more staff to deal with it. Besides even if the bugs arnt too 'dangerous' its a bit thick to not be able to access them. That will certainly put people off their game if its a continuous thing which it has been this year. Add danger to those bugs and well.. People have the right to complain.

In other words those in charge use as us free testers and have no problem admitting it. Ha. Do they care that people lose items, money, time, fun due to lazyness/trying save cash. See those who are smarter just avoid new content until everyone else has tested it as the company can not cope with game braking bugs before release. This isnt about bashing the QA I am sure they do their best. Its just what options they have available to them isnt good enough imo. Or us.

The reality is they have a falling standard this year more than ever. The game is getting bigger? So hire more staff. They making more money to afford it. With the extra staff they can continue to release updates without so much trouble despite a bigger more complex game. Perhaps its even time to readdress how they handle their testing with beta worlds. The game has indeed grown and maybe they should expand their testing methods to the players. In the beginning bugs made sense - Now its a big company and has responsibilties to its customers. If they are not doing this or for whatever other reason that might be causing it its not acceptable for them to release worse and worse bugs into the game. It seems the 'upgrade' year is obviously rewritting old code which is messing things up. That doesnt make it acceptable for them as a company to release the content bugged. The fala masacre thing was a one off for the most part. Big bugs happened but they were rare. Now big bugs are happening practically every update. We just been lucky its not been along similer lines as putting wildy into non wild worlds yet. However people are losing money, time, gameplay due to other just as bad bugs lately. I mean once upon a time I would of trusted my butler to pay himself from my bank but no way was I letting him access my full gp while so many bugs were happening. I cant blame them for a bug that doesnt exist but what IF it did happen to everyone? Billions gone. Thats the kinda of bugs that are appearing in the game at the moment. Many people are not idiots and find that unacceptable. Its not the coders fault so much but I dont find people blame the coders personally. They do great to deliver so much. People complain about bugs and testing their updates, that doesnt necessarilly mean people are putting torches up towards the testers themselves. Its more about a very real problem caused by the company as a whole. I could only access my house 1/10 times and then it bugged up in construction for hours so I had to leave and go back in. I dont trust putting lots of my more difficult to gain pets into the house until other PLAYERS on a non tester server have tested for me that its safe. How can anyone find that acceptable is beyond me. I am a damn good paying customer and expect better from the leadership of jagex. Anyway I dont care THAT much as it hasnt effected me personally too badly yet but its quite understandable why people are complaining about it.

Been playing too long to care about parties and such anymore. Difficult to balance runescape, work, education and a woman all at once. =p Besides. My girlfriend likes taking interest in me at times I do my little celebrations. Or its the other way round due to a good mood and alcohol idk. Update: Pretty close to 104 wc and fm. I am growing my green pet dragon at the mo. Cant be bothered upload a picture until I got all of them grown. (Which will take forever) Soon I am going home to my place for a week and I shaw pickup my new mouse. This one has gone buggered and cant wait to replace it. :wall: :wall: Been fighting it for ages. -.- -.- Then I might go back to slayer again soon. 50 quid mouse cheap from e-bay should keep me ahead of the competition. Dont tell my girlfriend as she hates me spending money on stuff like that. Both students again soon and I hate her buying junk she dont need. She wont know tho (She just doesnt understand the necessity of a good mouse!!) as its the same type as the one thats broken lol. Quick swap when I get home and come back to hers. I cant wait to be back to my rig too, (Main pc) even for a little while.. as it purs so good compared to a laptop. Ita a hard life for gamer not to have his baby to play full specs and such. The laptop isnt quite the same.

Flying hippo's seems like a good suggestion but your more likely to see a room limit increase. We shaw see.

Wow ~ If it works how it states. Even if summons dont respond well still it sounds like you can 'cast' them on enemies. Nice construction update too - Will save some space.

??? Its about fact it has high level content for the skill. Aswell as being balanced and wot not. What type of skill it is - being combat related - is irrelevant. Its very much both a combat and a skiller skill anyway. Get a yak, bird thing, tortoise, energy familer, graahk or a bunyip etc etc etc etc etc for most useful practices in skilling. Infact the combat familers kinda suck due to their difficult directing.. Although still very useful. They could do with better programming.. I mean it has the BEST skilling method for making money through summoning. Its a extremely balanced skill both for combat and skilling. Seriously its about 50/50 when it comes to -useful- content. If anything it proves the point further its one of the better skills in the game. Whatever what type of skill it is is irrelevant to the point that its very thought out and covers both low, medium and high content. I 99 mining and would still use that lava titan thing when I mine. That lobster when I fish. About the only thing they might need to improve is the woodcutting summon as that one does kinda suck. Jagex for whatever reason decided they wanted charms to be gained through combat. Do you call a dragon axe any less of a skiller item because you had to use combat to get it? Nonsense. Its a good illustration of what a good skill is and anything thats released should be. What the old skills should be updated to. Its not my favourite but its one of the bloody good ones that cover all bases.

Thats kinda exactly what I mean by customisation through the skill. I consider summoning one of the perfect skills as you put it and it even includes a decent addition of pets along the way like you say. I guess pets makes sense for summoning as something else for cosmetic looks. I even had to get their eggs and grow them adding an extra challenge. It gives a good lot of low and medium stuff but then even better stuff at high stuff of those lower types. It aint overpowering even in most cases you choose the lower ones still as they are better for certain situations. However you get more choice as you get higher and some of them are better for other types of activities. Training through the skill to 99 the only problems I found with the requirements themselves was probably the abyssal creatures made no sense lol. They got kinda worse.. Everything else seemed quite thought out and balance though. I honestly dont care that much if they add lower stuff like phoenix's because the higher stuff is very well laid out. Im guessing that means they will never update the higher content of summoning though with anything thats more useable.
