  1. Should this statement be explicitly expanded into 1337 (leet)? Luckily, tip.it does not have many people with "MAD l337 5k1lLZ" (Mad leet skills). However, as a precaution, I believe that leet should be explicitly stated as another language, therefore falling under this rule. Very few people use leet, and this is not directed at them. However, on occasion, I see people with one liners like "He's mad because he 'K4'n7 2-H17 u'" (can't 2-hit you). It's mostly a minor inconvienience for the readers as opposed to a serious issue.
  2. I'm almost positive that there is no word limit, and an extremely high picture limit (I've seen some over 100 pics). Emoticons are limited to some number under 15. (It's supposed to be 10 but there are ways to sneak a couple more in, I think.) If your posts are going to be anywhere near these limits, type them in a word processor first, then copy them into here. There are so many fluke things that can happen when you are online (closing the window, not having a submit go through, etc.)
  3. there's somewhat of a point to this, since Jagex can see how much players know about the game. (Kinda like an IQ test but not really)
  4. By definition, it is not a discontinued item. However, in the context of the item database, it should be considered one. this item, it says "Discontinued" but there aren't any more in game AFAIK. also, misplacedme, the only link on that item is "END" Holiday Items would be more appropriate.
  5. continuing: Clean herbs: Guam: Marr: Tarr: Harr: Ranarr: Irit: Avan: Kuarm: Toadflax: Snap: Missing: Rogue's Purse, Snakeweed, Goutweed (don't know if these were changed) Clean Cad, Lant, Dwarf. Dirty Toadflax and Snap. Also, "Herb" should become a discontinued item.
  6. Dirt Herbs. I cleaned up the pics a little, didn't do transparencys though. Guam: Marr: Tarr: Harr: Ranaar: Irit: Avan: Kuarm: Cad: Lant: Dwarf: I must say, these new herbs look absolutely amazing up close, the 2d artists did a great job.
  7. (From an American perspective) I've said this many times before, and I'll say it again. What is $25? In America, $25 is minimum wage for 5 hours. You can buy half a tank of gas with it. However, you have no idea of the purchasing power $25 can have over there. $25 might be a comfortable wage to support a family. Until you have lived in the country or have a better idea of what $25 is in their country, you aren't informed enough to pass judgment of whether or not that is a "good" wage.
  8. While that is the maximum price they go up to, the guides only list the minimum price and the max that they can have in the store. 6 gp is the maximum price for the arrows when there are less than a certain amount left. Would it be possible for a list of all things that aren't included in the db yet (like bronze arrows)
  9. On Baba Yaga's shop, it is worth noting that prices will go up much faster than most other shops. (I don't have an example atm, but within 50 of all the non-elemental runes, it is not cost-effective to buy them.) Also, would it be possible to group the shops into categories? (Magic, Archery, General, etc.)
  10. and the fact that torag degrades over time, and dragon looks really good. Plus, dragon is a status symbol. If they are wearing a dragon chainbody, people know that they are rich.
  11. get a bunch of alchables and camp in puro-puro. Dragon Implings are very good money. Another idea is slayer. 1700th post.
  12. don't waste a restore pot. Instead, drink 2 doses of regular attack pots (15 gp from the warriors guild). It boosts your attack up about 8 points.
  13. I would say it is, however you should send a message to Jagex asking this.
  14. basically use a search engine to find "RS2 Cursors" There are also programs where you can make your own, I believe the max size is 64X64 pixels (RS2 items are 40X40 pixels in your inv.)
  15. While I don't know a ton of php, it should be easy to disable bbcode inside of a quote (basically changing it to quote-code)
  16. I think that by and large, the item database overshadows the shop database. After all, if I need, say, an addy med for a treasure trail, then I know I can go onto the item database, type in "addy med" and it will tell me that in can be bought in the Barbarian Village Helmet Shop. Granted, things like quantity won't be in there, but very rarely will I need 2 addy meds (for instance).
  17. Monkfishing is the "best" way of doing it. While it takes marginally longer, you will make over 30 mill by doing it. For pure exp, do the Barbarian Training method (with cutting the fish).
  18. That's option 4, and the best way. Very high crafting, mining, and smithing (and higher mage)
  19. I got the clue from dagannoths, so yes, it would be a level 2.
  20. wow, this topic has been going for a while. I'll support. However, the blue text in the topic is quite annoying, and somewhat against tip.it rules (that you can't post in all one color).
  21. the "special" monsters drop them, that is, the monsters that can't be found anywhere else. Minoutars, Flesh Crawlers, Catelbopons, and Ankous each drop one specific piece of the scepter.
  22. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=516151 Has some more info. (laptops, etc.)
  23. Good luck on your goal. A bit of a tip for your thread, when you have goals: 65 magic(-) 70 magic() Kinda hard to read, switch it to: 65 magic(X) 70 magic( )
  24. I know that someone else mentioned this (and it might already be updated in the "hidden" part of the site, but here's a proof pic.
  25. I don't think that ruby (e)s would be good against Jad because of the chance of a mistake. If you mess up with 100+ hp, there's a good chance you'll survive. But if you mess up at 80 hp, you probably won't.
