You're all wrong. If you want to be a fighter of some sort, don't raise prayer. At all. Until you've done all the quests that give you prayer. Ancient Magiks are great, but you get prayer in one of the quests. So do the quests first, then go back and raise prayer.

the important thing here is the number: 5,000. If they had 25 people working at this, (hypothetically) that's only 200 accounts banned by 1 person. Over the course of a week, it breaks down to 30 accounts a day, meaning that Jagex would spend 15 minutes evaluating the evidence, which is ample time.

how about the opposite: making cakes/stews/pies more efficient, so players can become proficient in both parts of the skill?

It's a good idea to have something else. 500 gp is pointless. However, I think the skill exp is a great idea. I support that part.

I'm pretty sure the speeds are very close, however the distance to/from the teak/mahogs will make it significantly slower.

It's good money for p2p members exclusively. However, if you are wealthy, it is good cheap mage exp (20k for 65k exp) for f2p. Members can craft their own nats, which makes this process a lot cheaper for them.

If you're running: Take 25 unnoted ess to the altar. Trade someone saying "open 2k" (There is a theory behind this. Never trade the person with the highest offer, because they will get flooded with offers, and you won't be able to make as many runs, and consequently you won't make as much gp.) Offer your 25 unnoted ess for their 25 noted ess and 2k. Accept the trade, then repeat. If you're crafting: Have a large supply of noted ess, and a lot of cash. Then stand somewhere between the altar and the portal and repeatedly shout "open 2k (your name)" until you get a trade. Keep your public chat on "hide" so you can see trade offers better. Trade a runner, put up 25 noted ess and 2k, then accept the trade, craft the airs, and repeat.

I'm pretty sure the answer is no, because the price of unids is very low in a gen. store (maybe like 5 gp ea) so the game considers an addy med. helm to be worth more.

never worth it, unless you don't have 44 rc. The lines tend to be long, and there is a higher percentage of rcpkers.

I guess this means ores -> bars. There are 2 methods (I think) Steel materials -> steel bars (17.5 exp ea) Mith materials -> mith bars (30 exp ea) Is either better than the other? I have a lot of money to work with for this.

I'm pretty sure sharks are better CASH (though maybe not with the recently reduced prices) but monkfish are the total package. They are easy to get, more exp than sharks, and still sell for a considerable amount.

Though i find if I'm mining for levels, gems slow me down considerably, because i hit the rock 3 or 4 times, instead of once.

Natures are always above 300 gp. (300-320) Deaths are always below 300 gp. (260-300) 'nuff said. Basically, deaths are used only for slayer dart, meaning DKing and Barrowing, while nats power the entire high alch market, which is much larger.

how exactly does this decay trick work? I've heard a couple people mention it. (Please pm me and post here) Sorry for the thread hijack.

I don't know the max hit for iron knives, but using the max hit for iron arrows: Assuming you pick up 80% of the knives, 15000 12000 9600 7680 6144 4915 3932 3146 2516 2013 1610 1288 1030 824 659 527 422 337 270 216 172 138 110 88 71 56 45 (Too impractical after that) which is 74,809 throws of knives. using an estimated average hit of 5, 5*74809 = 374,045 damage, *4 for the exp is 1496180 exp. You should be able to get to lvl 86-87. To get to 99, you would need 11 million exp from where you are now. Using my above calculations, I would guess that 1 knife will get you 100 exp (if you throw it repeatedly) so 110k knives to 99. Good luck :D

I think that it is next to impossible to make money (or break even) with hides, since it is very hard to buy for 1500 ea. Most of the time, the mass merchanters sell for 1550-1600 ea.

decent article, though mostly economic rhetoric. and for the record, glory prices have been around 60k for the past 9 months or so, though in the last couple they have gone down to 50-55k.
