It depends what i'm selling. If I'm selling a lot of stuff, I will NOT switch worlds for fear of losing out on someone trying to contact me. I'm usually ok meeting people halfway.... so long as it's not somewhere stupid. :)

It's fine the way it is. I certainly don't want to pay per hour... I simply couldn't afford it. This would give players with lots of money (particularily adults), a massive advantage which I know is why Jagex would never consider such an idea. They are completely against anything allowing real life wealth to have an impact on the game.

LOL, I assume that you'll be pressing charges against the person that held a gun to your head and forced you to watch that one? ;)

It's funny that most people have focused on the "rares" side of the arguement. To be honest, my own personal focus was on undercutting gold farmers. Suppose the following.... Suppose Jagex wanted to tackle the problem of gold farmers using bots on yew trees. The current flow of yews reaching the market is pretty steady at the moment and as such, the prices are stable. Now suppose Jagex decide to create phantom characters several times per day that will introduce 100k+ (or whatever) additional yew logs onto the market. What would happen? Yup, yew log prices would crash. Suppose they halved? This means that all of a sudden, gold farmer profits are cut in half... most business can't survive a small drop in profit, never mind a 50% drop. I would be interested to see if Jagex use this as a powerful tool to manipulate the economy and screw over the farmers.

I think I'd go to Japan. I love their culture... it's a facinating country.

I had tickets for the Foo Fighters in the SECC in Glasgow, UK tonight, but had to sell due to a work commitment. Gutted about it :( I'm going to see Jeff Wayne enacting War of the Worlds next month though.... really looking forward to that.

I used to make those at school. Really easy. All you do is create shaped numbered grids and match the numbers up. You just need a little patience, but the result is beautiful symetry :)

Yer, but they wouldn't do that directly as that'd write off millions from players accounts. That simlpy wouldn't be fair. A gradual reduction in price triggered by a gradual increase would be a nice way to solve the problem.

My money is on RS3, a new skill, or horses lol. Honestly, I have no idea... but I can't wait. Need to keep an eye out for those promised hints they'll be making.

How else would they sneak them in? I think the Grand Exchange is the perfect opportunity for them to do so. But more importantly, I think they will use it as tool against bots.

Just a random thought about this new exchange... do you think Jagex will use it to take more direct control of the global economy? Consider this. Jagex could create numerous phantom characters, allowing them to introduce a steady stream of rares (such as phats, masks etc...), back into the game. This would lead to a drop in rare prices as more will exist, and remove an enormous amount of money from the game. This would gradually solve the issue of rare items and give Jagex direct control of the global economy. This type of manipulation could be used on any item. If they take if far enough, they may even further hinder bots by introducing more of whatever they're producing (reducing the price of these items and undercutting their profits) Post your thoughts.

Something I love about that picture is that it clearly shows planetary curvature. Kinda gives a slight indication as to what size the planet runescape is based on.

Being Scottish myself, it was something I was given the option to learn in school. However, I declined as like someone just said, it's quite an effort to play. I think they sound fantastic though. I'm getting married in July and have actually paid for a piper to play at the church :)
