I don't think it'll make a massive difference in deterring real-world-trades. They'll probably just arrange private kills in Wildy as another of trading items under the radar. But at least Jagex are trying....

The enormous majority of players I've spoken with absolutely love the update. It's amazing how such a small minority can make so much noise about something they're not pleased about. Doesn't seem to matter what Jagex do for an update.... people will moan anyway.

I can't wait for CW rankings (based on overall wins I suppose). I think the Games Room rankings might be added eventually.

Personally, I used to hang out in Dharoks, but it's pretty much 50/50 really between the two. Just go where there's fewer fellow alchers lol

I vaguely remember reading a while back that the average number of bones collected and buried there is 350 per hour.

I used to find it really difficult to shop for friends and family. I mean, I typically spend 30-40 quid per head. Now if there's something people want at the price, they usually go out and buy it themselves. How are you supposed to buy something for them that they don't know they already want, but will enjoy it anyway? lol So I've adopted a simple strategy.... I ask them what they want :mrgreen:

I hated the mining update that forced you to rest on a bed after filling an inventory. It wasn't around for long thankfully.

I don't like duelling, so this update doesn't interest me at all. However, I'm pleased that Jagex have taken yet another measure to reduce real-life trades :) The new arena sounds excellent though... maybe i'll pop in some time lol.

LOL, every major change gives rise to complaints and riots.... just deal with it. Jagex have yet again (like hundreds of times before), have made a fantastic improvement to the game that the vast majority appreciate... so like I said... deal with it lol

I totally agree with you. If I add someone to my ignore list, I want to appear OFFLINE to them. It's less awkward that should you bump into them again or eventually remove them from your list.

The Duel Arena is one of hundreds, perhaps thousands of things that membership fees pay for. The loss of one such item wouldn't warrant a refund. Sorry... defniately a "no" to that question.

I've never been scammed by a friend in game. Every item i've loaned has been given back, and i've even been helped to regain items that i've lost in group events (i.e. dying at dag kings). My ingame experiences with friends has been great so far.

We're upset with a legitimately poor decision but there's been nothing extreme like what happened to Urs Meier (who made the right decision - Terry impeded Ricardo). In short, there is no comparison to be made here. Yer, that's harsh comparison... Gonzales (the one who managed the Scotland game), hasn't received any death threats. Nor do Scotland fans have a history of violence (unlike the fans mentioned in that article) The above poster is quite correct though, we'd have been 2-0 down and our own goal would've been disallowed had the ref' got everything else correct. However, Scotland would've been awarded a penalty before the offside goal for a deliberate handball on a goalbound shot, which would've levelled the game at that point. It's all "ifs" and "buts". Regardless... we're out and that's it finished. We were beaten by the world champions... there's no shame in that. We gave them a game and they know it.

At your current RC lvl, you could probably manage about 1k nats per hour. That's 300k. Say 200k+ after expenses (essence and energy pots) At 63 hunting you could probably manage about 150 chinchompas per hour, which is about 110k per hour. RC is more profitable, and besides... finding an empty spot for chin hunting is a total nightmare

I just hope my PC can handle two gaming windows being open at the same time lol.... wouldn't like to give up on RS for the new game. But the sci-fi theme is really tempting

It's definately about 1k per hour. I know coz I've done quite a bit of firemaking over the years lol. So with maples - 135k per hour Yews - 202k per hour

patience... you'll probably get 7.5k per pot if you just wait.

I've seen this before, but thanks. Hopefully with the Grand Exchange, attempting to get onto World 2 won't be necessary any more. However, this might be useful for accessing other busy worlds for specific games etc... provided those URLs can be shown.

Nice guide however, I fear it gives potential scammers new ideas less than it protects players who read it lol. ;) 9/10
