Jagex recently stated in a BBC interview that Runescape would remain its primary focus for the next five years. So you've nothing to worry about :mrgreen:

Great comprehensive guide. The only addition it needs is something like how many tickets you can earn per hour per level.

I find it very difficult to level herblore. I get most of my herbs from farming and kindgom management. I simply buy second ingredients and sell the finished potion (which is usually enough to cover my expenses).

We will have a slight chance in this match only because it is at home. The crowd is our 12th man. Even if we lose I'm still going to be very drunk tomorrow I think. I don't care how badly we play, I don't even care if we need to cheat to win today. The result is the only thing that matters. Turns out it was the Italians that needed to cheat to beat us. I can't believe the ref' gave them that free kick. If anything it should've been given to us. Ah well, it was the group of death anyway. 24 points is enough to get most other teams qualifiation in their own groups... but it wasn't enough in ours. Look on the bright side... at least our seeding has been dramatically increased meaning we'll be drawn against easier teams for the 2010 world cup.

I don't believe that bloods should be player made. One of the few good points of Barrows is the tidy profit that can be made from selling blood runes. Bloods being player crafted would kill the price and make it difficult to turn a profit at Barrows.

I don't know if I'm heavily addicted or not. I think I might be mildly addicted lol. I often want to reach a specific target or goal, and I occassionally stay up later than I normally would to hit the target. Jagex recently said that the average hours played by their paying members is 22 hours per week. That's 3 hours per day.... Based on that statistic, I recon it's fair to say that the majority of members are addicted lol.

LOL, love the thread title. Dunno if it's my imagination or something, but I've been finding the servers are getting less reliable lately. I went through a week long period where I was frequently being booted from UK worlds.

As much as I'm really looking forward to the release of Mechscape, I'm worried that this is the "Big update" they mentioned in NovemberBHS.

I prefer the current character selection as it stands. I think others are correct in their opinion that introducing character selection now would be unfair on players who already have advanced characters. Even if Jagex allowed current players to switch to an existing class, it would require a massive effort in both programming and research to ensure that such an update would not totally unbalance the game. It's too much work for a relatively minor update.

I really enjoyed that article. :) To be honest though, I don't think the good old days were in fact good old days lol. Remember these.... * No banks (just what you could carry in your inventory) * Sleeping (to recover from mining) * No experience indicators (just levels were visible, so you had no idea how far you had to go to the next level) LOL, I think RS is better now than it's ever been even though it's being partially ruined by immaturity.

Given that the top 500k players are listed on each skill, I don't think Jagex will ever need to adjust the highscores in the manner which you described. I'm sure they'll rework the highscores in other ways, for example, listing by overall experience (in tandem with overall skill level), and perhaps combat levels?

You explanation is exactly the reaon that hunting is my second weakest skill. I just can't handle the number of ignorant players who don't have the courtesy to switch worlds. I wish Jagex would adopt the same coding that controls farming. That chinchompa spawns that you see, cannot be seen by other players. That way you can happily share spots.

I prefer science fiction to fantasy. I'm sure many others also enjoy sci-fi and so the new game will be very popular. I doubt it will be quite as successful as RS though. A lot of people moan that Runescape should be reset, well this is their chance to start on a level playing field lol.

I really really enjoyed this movie. I watched it at Imax in complete 3D. It was truly impressive and the story was fun. I think it would've been rated as an average movie if it hadn't been for the impressive 3D effects.

It's difficult to say if it was a great movie or not, as I was so blown away by the incredible 3D effects. I imagine it was probably a fairly average movie, so if you're going to see it... you MUST go to the Imax. BTW, the violence was very surprising for the age certificate. Grendal was genuinely scary... I'm amazed that they say it's ok for kids to watch. 8/10
