Thank God I stopped playing RS for 2 months (exams =/). By the time I'm back the rooms will be pretty much empty compared to the current situation.

Tbh I outkilled few maxed melee, with turmoils, extremes, CLS and DFS (yeah .. I know .. It's not the same .. but) without using ANY potions and prayer. And by outkilled I mean for every 3 dragons they kill .. I killed 5. But considering my experience with this sort of stuff I suppose it was mere luck.

That wouldn't solve the combat triangle problem, Magic/Ranged aren't used in PvM because of their lack of DPS, not their cost. Yeaah ... nope ... Lower max hit does not mean lower DPS. I am fairly sure that with overloads, maxed gear and Claws of Guthix you can kill dragons faster than with melee for example. (personal opinion/experience, I have no evidence what'so'ever in other words do not start arguing about it ... since there won't be a 2nd side)

I am fairly sure that the people who don't bring wind strike/bronze knives are going to be the noobs in this case =/

Your defense against magic is affected both by you Magic, and defense level. As well as the magic defense your equipment gives. Your magic level provides more defense then your defense level. He could've fooled me.

BTW since when magic def is not Magic level + Def level o.O (+ armor and etc) ?

If you want we can make 10-20 duels. I will use saradomin brews to lower my attack and magic to 1. You will wear at least black dragonhide ... Surely if the sword can miss the chance will be higher with this setup. As for the damage I can use Super/Extreme str pots to return my str to its original level. you could also just go to safe pvp ffa on w68 Yeah .. having 0 witnesses is a good idea.

Your insane, the only armor with damage reduction is dung shields, elysians, and divines. The rest only reduce the chance of hit, unless jagex made an exception for korasis sword and only korasis (which is very unlikely). In other words, unless you have actual evidence that mage defence has a damage reduction that exclusively applies to korasi sword specs, get your head out of your ass. Go test it yourself before you say things like that He is actually right, few tests and personal experience are not enough to prove something. As for now there are no indications that the magic def reduces the damage/accuracy.

I am not sure in what world you are living. It's called competition and in my world it's legal and even from economical point of view IT IS BENEFICIAL. If you are the only person that sells .. am .. let's say chairs in a small village/community ... well I will come and crush you as much as I can, tl;dr the first person to arrive does not have a monopoly over a region/product (with little exceptions). There is nothing wrong in spot stealing, it happens irl, it's legal, it's .. healthy :lol: , get over it :wall:

The problem with software patents is beyond my knowledge (reading about it ATM) my previous post was answer to the "the patents are stupid" and the cancer cure posts. EDIT: Anyways there is something that I think applies to all kind of patents - obviousness or in other words the technical solution (invention) that is going to be patented has to be so ... hard .. (ok I can't think of a word that is opposite of obvious) so any specialist in that sphere could not replicate it. In other words you can't patent something that can be replicated by a specialist with enough knowledge. EDIT2: hmm the patents are from '96 ... so the above (EDIT) is unrelated information =/ (still reading about software patents) ... TBH as far as I knew you can't patent softwares (I guess my lections weren't up to date :D) and even if you could 10% difference in the code should be enough to avoid the intellectual property problem. EDIT3: if there is someone knowledgeable about software patents ... it'd be nice if there is some short explanation about this ... I really can't find anything concrete about it. (all I found are pros, cons, debates about the limits and etc.)
