  1. I don't usually get involved in this type of thing, but I feel the need/boredom demands to chip in. MI did not have a great an impact on RS Clan history as a certain person around here seems to be stating. In my opinion, anyone who came before the wilderness deserves respect and the largest place in history possible. There weren't many then, and there aren't many at all left. As for honour... crashing wars I see as not very honourable at all. Maybe in the same way that cheating is honourable...
  2. Sadly, in RS friends can often be just "friends". This guy doesn't sound like anyone you should hang out with, one because he's a noob and two because he's an autoer (and autoers=choobs). Now all that you have to do is welcome him to your ignore list

Yea, that system's been around for a very long time. Does anyone remember exactly when it was put in place? I wish I had written this stuff down back then : P
  4. It's a pretty obvious fake, but still, it's not a bad photoshopping job, all things considered... Who knows, if RS stays on the internet a few more years, some merchanter's banks might start to look like that
  5. I would be willing to bet that Zezima used some sort of macro in his career, even if just an auto-clicker or something. I seriously doubt that Zezima uses macros. Let's think of it this way... Zezima is easily the most famous player in the game. Sure, there have been many colourful and famous clan leaders in the game and other distinguished people. But even noobs know the name of Zezima (well, most). Zezima has also been at the top of the highscores for several years and seems to be intent on defending this title. If there was one person in all of Runescape who Jagex was going to suspect and launch an investigation on for macroing... who do you think it would be? I'm sure they've check on Zezima time and time again. I believe that he might not be just one person, but hey, lord knows how to prove it. I think that s/he is just extremely concentrated and obsesive. There's one in every game.
  6. "If you can't do it with one bullet, don't do it at all!" -Sean Connery in "The League of Extraordinay Gentlemen" The movie itself was okish, but that quote... Well, it just says it all. : P
  7. Awesome, my first Tip.It event. I'll have to go polish some addy for the occasion : P And to everyone, I say get beer! Everyone loves beer!
  8. Yea, I'd say Tip.It is one of if not THE safest fansite on the web. :D The only sites to be suspicious of are those that have downloadable options, because one never knows what one is downloading... And if you're worried about security, also go out and make sure you have good antivirius and anti spyware software. I think that Tip.It has some suggestions, as does Jagex on the main site.
  9. ^Thanks for finding it. I'd seen it on these forums once, but I can't remember where... It's nice to see all those sabre names in the beginning, back when we owned RS : P
  10. You know, for the entire time I've been playing Runescape, I have yet to get a random event. What are the chances of that? : P Ah well. But I hope my first one is this guy. Zombie suits sound fun
  11. I second that list Third. In that order, naturally :D
  12. Check out the Masors drop party thread a few threads down. Or, if you're feeling lathargic; http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=418885 :P
  13. I agree completely that greed has overtaken runescape. The fact that so many people spend their time trying to figure out ways of stealing people's money is disgusting. The fact that all this plotting is only to grab a few more pixels is even sadder... The game was made to be fun. Why take away from that? Money isn't everything; having a good time is. As for the banning... The only thing with that is that blocking IP's is not always banning a player. Some people have internet connections that constantly change IP's (such as wifi users), and even those that don't can still manually change their IP's. So the banning IP ideas doesn't necessarily work, although it would be effective most of the time. As for posting the prices of items, I don't think that's a good idea. One of the principle concepts of player-to-player trade is that supply and demand regulates the prices, not Jagex. Although if they were willing to get some people who keep up to date with changing prices, they could try to do that.
  14. Hm... someone who spends hours on end staring at blue, slighting moving pixels... Personally, I think that RS in moderation is probably the best... As in not spending hours staring at the screen. But, hey, whatever makes you happy.
  15. I seriously doubt that Jagex would EVER be able to put any of the fansites out of business, much less the great and might Tip.it. I see it more of a way to improse customer support. For a very long time Jagex has been absolutely blasted for not having some better guides to their game. Considering the great lengths that some other online games go to inform their players, this is still nothing. Plus, as mentioned, the community part can never be beat. RS is just too big, and fansites aren't. Well, they are pretty big. But that's not the point. The point is that the fansites will be here for a long, long time.
  16. Hablo espả̮̱̉ol, pero prefiero ingl̮̩̉̉s. Yea, I speak spanish. I don't know if I could call myself completely fluent, but I can speak vaguely effectively. That bit of spanish simply stated that I speak the language, but english is my first and prefered language.
