I think he's right... we CAN go to the moon again and mars for the first time in around 40 years. The real question is if we will WANT to go there. Let's look at the current issues facing the world. Terrorism, the U.S. is preoccupied with a million and a half things, and there's proverty and homelessness on every corner. Unless there's a large shift in the state of the world, I don't think we'll be going anywhere other than Vegas any time soon. In the 1960's, the space race was a central issue to world leaders. Now, it's playing fifth fiddle to the problems here on earth. Let the debate begin as to whether or not this is good or bad...

I don't know, I don't think Brazil looked particuarly strong out there today. I mean, sure, Croatia played a good game. But Brazil wasn't really showing their usual flair. In the last few minutes it was mostly Croatia putting pressure on Brazil... I predict Argentina. Although I'm pulling for Australia. 8-)

I'm happy with mine... This is actually a really old character, from february 2001. It's actually my second, and I hadn't used it since its creation until February of this year. But my old main had a name I liked too... I'm just lucky, I guess. : P

I agree - in the very long run Zezima will slowly see his lead dwindle, until it is gone completely. Will it take a long, long time? Heck yea. But it's the inevitable unless we see a change in Zezima's playing habits.

Why, clans and pking of course. : P Castle Wars is pretty awesome too... anything that involves large-scale fighting, really.

Wow... that was... depressing. But also very deep. The janitor seemed to be saying that basically, we have nothing to live for. Life is just here because it is, and that's just the way things work. I could now go into a long philosophical rant, but I won't. Instead, I'll simply say this; All humans want in life is happiness - and whatever makes you happy is what you should try to do. And for me, happiness comes from trying to make this world a little better for everyone else. And that is what gives my life some meaning.

Trying to get to 68 fishing can get EXTREMELY lonely and boring... I'll add you.

That's one advantage to being a sabre... not too many similar names. : D Although my old main had a very common name, and many people had my name with numbers after it. But as far as kewl sabres go, I'm the one and only. :D Cool story though. I'm off to check the highscores now. 8-)

Well, before I started trying to get my fishing to level 68, I trained around 1-2 hours a day max. Usually around 1 hour or so, and that's pretty much my entire playing time. Explains my low levels... : P

I guess it always works on an honour system. I have a medium-high mining level, but I always let lower levels get at least one rock. Sadly, all it takes is one hot-shot high-level miner to mess up the entire system. It does annoy me, but they do have a right to as many rocks as they can mine. Unless Jagex comes up with some kind of system, I guess we'll all just have to live with it.

You did a good thing. Most people would have probably taken the 300,000 gp offer, but you did the right thing. :D Although the last time I was someplace where rares were sold - 3 years ago - they actuallly WERE 300k : P

Without Dwayne Roloson, I'd have to go with Carolina. Edmonton got here based heavily on goaltending, and without that solid they're chances don't look too good. I predict Carolina in 5. : /

I can relate to this. I was doing magic tricks for a group of noobs, tried to make a dramatic exit, and thanks to the Jagex censor looked like I was swearing at the lot of them. :x They've really got to fix some of the censored words. How could "Poof" or "oops" possibly be construed as something bad???

I've actually helped a ton of people this morning. I've given out a lot of food, saved multiple people from barbarians, and even been called a life-saver! (Twice 8-) )

Well, I live in the U.S., so our government basically does that to all of us 24/7. :? But yea, it's incredibly annoyed to have someone walk into the room and start watching what you're doing. I usually just minimize and stare at them, give them my full attention, and wait for them to become embarassed enough to walk away. :P

Just a suggestion... you might want to post this in the P2P General forum, as all the quests you mentioned are members. But from when I was a member on my main... Underground Pass.

I use very-bright. I played Runescape Classic for years before I played RS2, so I went with the closest thing to the old game.

I think it'll take autoers a while to move to oaks, if they move at all. Especially since they have thousands of legits to compete with for oak logs. Hm... just realized I should stop cutting oaks and reading these forums at the same time, lest I get reported... : P

Wow... as one who has played RS since only one server, this really is amazing. Looking back, it just really shows how much has happened and how the game has changed.... And now I feel old. : P

Hopefully no one will slap me for repeating people, but clan support would be nice.

Those who want updates should probably pay for the full version of the game. Would I love f2p updates? sure. But until people actually directly support Jagex with money, they don't really have to get updates. P.S. - At least in RS1 we got to sleep :P
