  1. I don't pick or bite or anything... and you've put me off doing it forever now (that, and off supper). I have much healthier, less bloody habits... you know - smoking, drinking and cocaine.
  2. It sounds like a pretty good idea to me. I'm trying to think of some way this could be used in a bad way, but nothing's coming to me. : P However, there's also a "Runescape Discussion & Suggestions" forum, and I think this might go there. A mod could move it for you if one comes by, or you could remake it. Anyway... that sounds like a really good idea. Now beggars will have to really work at begging! :D
  3. Ignoring the pain and suffering being wrought by a Bubsa smackdown... I'm not really surprised. I took a look at the f2p update in the june behing-the-scenes, and figured it would be something smaller and less helpful than our beloved Draynor sewers. My bank doesn't even have room for the reward...
  4. This summer I'm willing to bet we beat it. It'll be over the weekend in mid-afternoon... and I'll be waiting for my screenshot =P~
  5. Runescape Created - January 4, 2001 (i think) Wilderness came out: November 2001 (i've got teh date writen down someplace, but the paper's now almost 5 years old) Members created: February 27, 2002 Asgarnia: No idea, think it was in summer of 2001, possibly earlier. Now my dates get a little fuzzy, but i'll write down important events; Battle of Karamaja - tons of people and death, one of the greatest battles of all time. The volcano fighting was especially fun. Battle of Barby vill - syndicate vs. just about everyone : D Al Kharid battle - not really a battle, but it looked really awesome at the time EDIT: almost forgot... January 12, 2006. RSC was finally cleaned of autoers, and Jagex proved that Runescape has the potential to become the greatest game on the internet.
  6. Let's see... -Tissues (always good in allergy season) -Pencils (none of them sharpened) -Pen (mostly out of ink) -Scissors -Half a Sprite (several weeks old, but slowly draining) -Many CD cases... many suspiciously empty -A couple lonely CDS (see above) -Coasters (also suspiciously not under the sprite #-o ) -Computer, printer, keyboard and mouse -A light -A new bulb for aforesaid light -An empty bag of lay's crisps -Scraps of paper with numbers that mean absolutely nothing to me -Amounts of paper and notebooks completely disproportional to the size of my desk -A nice and squishy stress ball (will come in handy when I try to clean this off)
  7. That really differes where you are. Canada's the 2nd largest country with less population compared to the US :| It really does all depend on location. In Virginia, there are many parts that are quite rural. In Eastern Massachusetts people live very close together, and you see people out and about all the time... The stretch of coast from Boston to Washington D.C. is quite urban, as are many areas around other cities. Same with Southern California and a lot of the west coast. And places in the south and Midwest. And I'll stop rambling, as I've proved the point about location : P
  8. Yea, you're not the only one. There's a thread titled "What's Happening?" about the same thing. I don't know if it's happening to everyone, but it's affecting quite a few people.
  9. I am from: United States And I currently live in: Los Estados Unidos (United States, I'm just feeling random) Additional Comments: Don't blame me, I'm from Massachusetts. :D
  10. I actually started having problems just a half hour ago... I thought it was just my messed up comp, but maybe there's a problem with the friends list server. Anyone besides us two having issues with it?
  11. Wow... 200k+... As someone who played in the second month of the creation in RS, when only a few thousand people even knew what Runescape WAS, that's kinda scary... Congratz, Jagex. Looks like you're game has become a success. A very BIG success. \
  12. Well, that was... :-k amusing. With practice, you could make some good stuff in flash. And sheesh guys, it wasn't THAT bad. Just... short.
  13. Psh.... In the early days we didn't have runecrafting or Tut. island. They just kinda dumped you into the game and assumed you'd know how to survive. Just try to imagine the noobs of today going through that... Early coins came from monster drops, and by selling what they dropped to stores. A couple weeks after that, smithers and miners started selling to stores. That's where most of the money probably came from. High alchers brought in more money later on in the game.
  14. I'll be there to fight for f2p! P2P is for people who don't know how to take free stuff. :)
  15. In RSC, I waited until I was level 75 to kill the level 110 dragon. It wasn't too long for RSC, but I could have done it much sooner. : P
  16. The Inn in falador... who's name I should know... ah well : P Also, Lumbridge castle holds special memories. Back in the good old days, it was the only safe place in Runescape : D
  17. I've got about 10 sets of full iron in process, and several hundred fish. Soon as I find someone I'll start donating. \
  18. I'm off to make a couple iron sets and weapons, and then I'll go fish for a bit. I've got 2.4k feathers to get rid of, so expect a donation from me soonish. : D
  19. How about we get some clansmen on this list, eh? 8-) Let's see... you have orbital, militant, messiah (evil, but a legend), zei, and a multitude of sabres... King, Ice, final, ore... the list is long. The great leaders of the past are people who deserve respect, not just those who have time to click the screen more than everyone else. And nice list. =D> P.S. These new smileys own... \
  20. Great article, and a great moral to be learned as well. Macroing and cheating has always been around, and will probably be around for a lot longer. But at least we can slowly show those who cheat what they do is wrong - that, and hopefully Jagex can teach them all a lesson through bans. : D And I'm happy so say that in my 5 years and 5 months of playing RS, I've never cheated. Even in RSC when everyone was, I stood strong. And I felt better because of that.
  21. Uh... :-k What? All I got was something involving prices dropping and something about Communism... You sounded a little like McCarthy with that canoe metaphor too... As for prices, they're relatively stable now. Prices have dropped, but in my opinion they were overly inflated to begin with.
  22. Or you can all happily flame away at eachother for my personal amusement. *sigh* Woodcutting is so boring... But I digress. It's sad to see phobia die. I know they were accused of not really being a "junior" clan, but I still had a vague fondness for them... Now TF is all alone at the top. : / And btw... if they were the Junior Clan of Fear, shouldn't all the members have just gone to Fear?
  23. I guess I would agree. Many names have gotten less original over the years... Although we have to recognize that many great names have already been taken. I mean, who can top "The Sabres"?
  24. \ Wait... this should never have been a problem... :-k
  25. Well you could see the potential there. You could kind of tell Brazil were never going to lose the game. It's only the first game so don't expect all their performances to be like that. That's a good point. Come to think of it, it never once crossed my mind that Brazil could actually lose a football match :P I guess that I'm trying to put an optimistic light on things for when Australia plays them. Still, I maintain that Brazil isn't going to go all the way this time.
