What you want to be when you're older?
"When I grow up, I wanna be a fire engine!" That wouldn't work right... I always wanted to be a pilot when I was a kid. I think I'll be closer to that dream coz I'm joining the Air Cadets :XD: Realistically, I'd love to end up in the music industry as a composer or musical producer. I used to want to be an artist than a pixel artist than a flash master now than a fire brigade dude now i wanna be a puppy dog... muahaha hi echo

9 Dragons - Martial Arts MMO
Sadly there isn't a "tutorial island" per say, but your master should teach you all that is required. Or if not, I can help. I think I should post this incase anyone wants to get in touch; there are two forms of communication. IM in-game is pretty straight forward but there is another form called Pidgeonogram. Basically an inbox for messages if you are offline at the time someone wishes to contact you. So if you want to give me a "hyt" in that, I will know. :)

9 Dragons - Martial Arts MMO
Yeah, I was in the closed beta. ^_^ Been open beta for about 2 weeks now. They had a character wipe when it entered open beta and they're planning another one when it launches. From the e-mails I recieved it sounds like it's going to be a P2P game. :|

9 Dragons - Martial Arts MMO
It's not purely fighting, but about 80% of it is. You do some special collection quests where you need to go off and fight powerful foes with a party and also basic collection quests where you will randomly recieve special items from monsters to return for better clothing. The tasks he usually assigns to begin with are to learn. You are taught a Kung Fu technique and he tells you to go off and get to Cheng 2 with it. There are a few quests where he requests you to kill a few monsters and collect items, yes. Alot of the latter quests involve searching for chests/items hidden and returning them and there are alot of delivering quests. They aren't particularly long quests (usually take around 5 minutes to do), but most of the rewards aren't particularly great and consist of generally experience. But saying that, there isn't a huge grind in this game. You should be able to become a clan member in around 2 days. (Depending whether you party/hardcore train alot) Bah, if anyone does play, message me in game and i'll come help you by giving you some items and buffing you with some skills.

9 Dragons - Martial Arts MMO
I can't believe you just asked that. Lol So is there anything that makes this game special compared to the other 20 MMORPGs I can download for free? Well, it claims itself to be the "first authentic martial arts MMO". The graphics are also a whole lot better than any other free MMO i've played. Not only do you level up as your skills, you level up mastery of weapons seperately and even your skills again are seperate. Instead of getting a weapon and being able to do good damage with it, you need to train with that weapon and your skill level with it will increase. Also at Cheng 3 for a skill for attacking, you will begin doing 2-hit combos and at Cheng 5, 3-hit combos. Skills need to be learnt by going to Kung Fu masters and then proceeding to train them before they can be used (Training dummies). Also, any one can use any weapon, but if the weapon is too high of a level, instead of being not able to wield it, it merely decreases it's durability faster. But to put it bluntly, I haven't ever played a game even similiar to this.

9 Dragons - Martial Arts MMO
9 Dragons Anyone else heard of it/play it? If you have, post your name and i'll add ya. :D If not, read on! There are 8 different clans you can join: Wu-Tang - Sword users. Shaolin - Polemace users. League of Beggars - Staff users. Heavenly Demon - Saber users. Sacred Flowers - Knife users. Brotherhood of Thieves - Spear users. The Union of Noble Families - Fan users. Iron Fist - Hand and feet users. Black Dragon - Scythe users. Each clan has it's own fighting style and may use either magic (Chun Ki), the clans symbolistic weapon or their own fist. The game doesn't measure level by numbers, it measures by Cheng and what stage of development you are at. You progress as follows: Losing Self. Gathering Chi. Opening Chi. ??? [i'm only Opening Chi 4, so I don't know any further than that ^^;] You begin at Losing Self 1. This is when you are honing your basic Kung Fu skills and perform tasks for your respective master until s/he teaches you more advanced skills. Once you advance from Losing Self 12 to Gathering Chi 1, you are able to learn more advanced Kung fu and may adventure beyond your starting village. Once you hit GC8, you can apply to become part of your respective clan and gain even more advanced moves. The game itself isn't very graphics intensive, but it is very eye pleasing. Screenshots have been taken in advance; Short skirt is shoooort I'm currently wearing the christmas outfit only because it's currently more appealing than without: There's even a very good party system in this game. You are free to party with up to 9 other people. When you join/create a party, you get a little list of the members and their current health and vital points to the left of the screen. You can choose whether to share experience or for it to be individual. You can also whether monster drops will be shared or only the killer may recieve the spoils. Camera angles are fully posable and you can even look through your own characters eyes: The game also features a good night and day system. No new options, as far as I know, become available at night or day specifically, but monsters react differently. Thieves and bandits are more agressive during the night and animals are less likely to attack you than during day. Day: Dusk: Night: Dawn: Blarg, anyway... My name is Caqtuar, i'm a Wu-tang White Tiger and currently at OC4. Feel free to "hyt!" me anytime. Uh... discuss!

Halo 3
I recieved massive lulz from reading the original post. Halo is the worst FPS series I have played. It's about how quickly you can find a powerful weapon and then how fast you can shoot someone with it. The storyline always seems to be the same aswell, constantly revolving around this "Master Chief" character.

Bleh, pretty basic really. Looks like a picture with some filters over it. I think people have been rating the game and not the signature. :|

Why not just jump the whole gun and try Godfather.

Anyone play FFXII???
That's a good thing though.. I get tired of those games I can beat in two days and never play again. Well to complete some games in two days, you miss out on alot. Think FFX, no Anima, Yojimobo and Magnus Sisters, no Omega dungeon, No Celestial Weapons, no beating up Dark Aeons and Penance, no learning about Lulu's past( Her previous Summoner.) Little Jecht/Auron/Braska spheres, No beating up all of Belgemine's(sp?) Aeons(Accidentally sent her) What else did I miss? Dark Aeons in FFX? Do you have an extra version or somehting? Nope, once you get inside Sin and you are able to start the final battle against Jecht, instead of fighting him, go back to old places such as Besaid. Once you try to enter Besaid Village you will be stopped and they unleash a Dark Valefor. (DV can use the beam attack (usually overdrive) anytime but can only use it's second overdrive when it has a full bar (causes 9999 damage to all)) Bleh, I beat all and that super thing whateveritscalled which has like 99999999 health per arm/leg/body/face whatever.

Making PSP/GB Game.
OH TEH NOES!!111 Using a "Game Maker"...? WOWTHATSCHEATING. You can't really take credit for anything except the story. That is unless you made all of your sprites in Paint or something, and you used your own code. I "made" my own game once using a GUI called "Odyssey". It allows you to create and implement your own code and sprites. (Actually you needed to script magic or trigger lines)
-
sprite.
Meh, it's pretty basic. To be blunt it looks like a sprite on top of a gradient with some fire brushing. [Now before you jump on me saying "OMG I USED NO BRUSHES!!!11", I used the word look] What you want for a sort of fiery signature is contrast. The background should be darker colours andgenerally higher contrast. It could also do with more of a focal point. The whole signature is just one thing, there's nothing inparticular standing out. The border isn't very attractive either. Bleh, not one of your best.

Couldn't you just leave it to Disney to make another Kingdom Dorks game?

All things Golf
Okay I don't know if this is fact but I heard Tiger Woods won "Athlete" of the year. Golfers = athletes? I don't think so IMO. Athlete: A person possessing the natural or acquired traits, such as strength, agility, and endurance, that are necessary for physical exercise or sports, especially those performed in competitive contexts. But it is debatable... I would definantly classify Tiger Woods as an athlete, he's one of the best ever to play the sport if not the best, nobody in the world is even close to him right now in the world golf rankings... I wouldn't exactly classify John Daly as an athlete though, if you've seen him or know about him you probably know why :P Golfing's hard, definately, but I don't think it really requires strenght, agility, endurance, or stuff like that. Endurance - I played in a competition in the summer, the course was about ~5km long and took about 6 hours to play. Put that together with 20+ degrees celcius temperatures, carrying around a heavy bag and climbing up and down hills. Then you come to the making your shot part. Agility - Possibly not, but if someone shouts "FORE!" you need to be quick on your toes. :P Strength - This varies, older clubs are generally pieces of metal and not hollow like modern clubs. But carrying a bag around is a lot more work than you think, you can't base golf off of professionals, they have expert caddies and training equipment. I just played a stableford and went round in 33 points. :| Not particularly great, but it shouldn't affect my handicap. It was tough out there today; high winds, boggy ground and the greens are in pretty rough state.

The Tip.It SotW - #7 - Photo Manip
I'll vote for TJ. Metroid's sig is great, but it just doesn't fit the bill for Christmas for me. I really like the animation with TJ's though. :)
