  1. Note; if you use a line to seperate the name and subtext, make it about 5px shorter at both ends and apply a motion blur to it. (Flat, 0 degree - by about 25~50 px) It just smoothes it a bit and not stick out as much. V1. is probably the best, but the text colour makes it hard(ish) to read. Perhaps a slight white outer glow/stroke? (By slight I mean not 100% opacity and not more than a few px) But get rid of the border, just stick with ~5px border on top and bottom line and 1px on left and right line. Oh, and please don't post a B&W version just because Weeb does it. ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâì_̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâì
  2. The 50% rule is if you make a shop in the Art Bazaar, mainly to clear it of buddy shops. And people are allowed to post work as long as the original artist has been notified and is ok with it.
  3. ... Did Jak give you permission to use your avatar?

What's more annoying is that the Europeans won't be getting FFXII for a looong time. :(
  5. Few pointers; [*:5t3z2z9t] Needs more contrast, it looks very plain. [*:5t3z2z9t] I don't like the render on top of the border, put it behind. [*:5t3z2z9t] Put a gradient (the radial one) behind the render, but on top of the brushing and set it to overlay. It'll focus and improve the colours more. [*:5t3z2z9t] Font is pretty... boring and plain. I'd find something a bit better, also get rid of the outer glow. Instead, set the text colour to white and add a 50~75% 1px black stroke. [*:5t3z2z9t] Text placement... It doesn't need to be in a corner. It's hard to get a good text placement with a centered render, this is why I try not to do that.
  6. It's a figure of speech, similiar to that of "GTMO MY THRED NOOB". :P
  7. Do we need them? Are you one? Here's an argument for them; They promote good grammar (evidently from name) and possibly encourage people to type like a normal person and not like a dyslexic cat having a seizure across the keyboard. It's not only good to use correct grammar so you won't be persecuted by the particular person, but its good practice for typing skills. When I first joined TIF I typd lyk dis cus it ws fst. But, I soon learnt otherwise. I found that it took long to do homeworks considering I needed to type normally. I was actually so lazy at one point that I set all of my autocorrect options so when I typed in chat speak, it corrected it to normal. But I soon learnt that my typing wasn't getting any better. Now, I am a self-taught typist and can average a 100wpm. Here's an arugment against them; They can ruin the environment of a forum. Having a friendly, light-hearted conversation is great, but when one person makes a grammatical error... BAMTHEYGETATTACKED. Sometimes usually contributing nothing towards the topic. Pointing out errors is one thing, but flaming them so much that global warming happens isn't going to help any more. Some people just want to type like they do. Just because they type like a 6 year old doesn't make them a bad person. Most people see chat speakers as some chav who only goes on the internet to cyber, go on forums and update their "space". (Trying to get that across without dodging the sensor) But, what do you think? Discussify.
  8. It's ~73 pounds, shorty.
  9. ... That made so little sense it hurts to think about it ...
  10. I present to you, FASHION DISASTER MAN!!11 Bow to his godly dress sense.
  11. Also, some computers don't allow you to copy and paste direct from the zip file. An alternative is to paste a copy somewhere (My Documents, for example) and go to Control Panel -> Fonts and choose Install Font... You need Admin rights.
  12. Heh, ~5'10" and weighing in at 95 pounds. 16 aswell, I just can't put on weight. :P I ate about half of a cake which had an ingredient list matching the length of the Bible and didn't gain squat. I'm always baking myself cakes, muffins and brownies and yet I gain nothing. I also don't exercise alot, I only play golf. (Although... it's more exercise than meets the eye.)
  13. So you're saying pretty much everyone is an emo? What's with all of these cheap shots at emos lately? Honestly, do you want a new segregation or something?
  14. Gimp is a free download now a days. It's much better than Paint. Not everyone will be allowed to install it though.
  15. There's no denying it anymore. :(
  16. Hah, me thanks. :D Im in the process of uploading 600+ C4D renders.
  17. I love you Jak. :)
  18. Why arrows? Why random cloud of colour? Why such flat colours? Why has the render been coloured? Why is the render not blended? Why is the font so plain? Why is the text so big? Answer. Now. >:o
  19. Yes, let's give it to Nintendo and let them give it a silly name and motion sensor control.
  20. It's default so i'd be surprised if you didn't. It's a nice idea for a signature, it's just the colour variety is too great. It needs to stay in oranges and deep reds and not blacks. x_X The font is authentic I think, but it's kinda hard to read. You don't happen to have a link to it do you? The render gets chopped off randomly at the bottom, if it had just all been in it would've looked much better. I might have a go at something similiar. o_O
  21. 1. Read the stickies. 2. It depends. What type of signature do you want to make?
  22. Hah, Bristol just doesn't get the respect and attention it deserves. ... I CRACK MYSELF UP.
  23. I have no idea what you mean by that, I've never had any ads or banners on the browser. I must admit I cracked serial keys for lots of programs and deeply apologise if there is some registry for Opera that removes ads which I can't honestly remember. As far as I know, the latest version should have no ads whatsoever. You're such a naughty boy. >:o And about a year ago when I tried it, there was ads all over it.
  24. You can still do that with Firefox. :S I don't like using Opera purely because of the ads it had on it.
