  1. As long as they're not licorice jelly beans... Welcome! Enjoy your stay at Tip.It, hopefully it'll be a long stay, filled with fun and knowledge! I like knowledge. :
  2. Thanks, all... two... of you. I was hoping for more. Ah well, here's part two anyways. PART TWO The arrow was about to penetrate my eye, when a sudden gust win of win blew me aside! Zach must have use his magic again̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅAgh!̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  3. It's my first, and I just sort of wrote what came to my head. It's not totally based off RuneScape, but it's got references to it. Please, PLEASE critisize. I don't care if it sounds mean, I'm pretty much used to it. PART ONE I slowly stepped past the charred archway, my guard on at all times. It was quiet in the old wreck of an arena today. Not like usual days, where the yells of pitched battle filled my ears. "Our quarry seems to have hidden well... " I told my companions. "Let's hope the old man's tip was right." Zach, the mage with me, nodded, while gripping his staff tighter. Gil, the archer, grinned fiercely and nocked an arrow on his string. "Shall I try to 'shed some light' on our situation?" Zach asked. "Go ahead," said Gil, "and we'll get 'im if he comes out." Zach nodded and lifted his staff high. Immediately a bright glow exuded from its tip, clearly illiuminating the area further. All I could see was blodstains from battles past, rubble, broken statues. "No sign of him," I muttered, "but he's gotta be tricky. Guy paid too much to put him out..." Let me stop to explain myself. My name is Jorden, and I hunt for a living. Not for animals, or deadly monsters, but for people. You could call me a bounty hunter. My team of three had been hired by a strange man who hid his face from view. He tipped us off about a man who had apparently tried to assassinate the king! He said he had withstood battle with him, but had almost died to his might. The man said that the would-be killer escaped deep into the wilderness, and was "more powerful than we could imagine." Well, he offered the right amount of money, and hey - we've never lost a bounty before! - so we took on his task. Anyways, back to the story: We slowly stalked through the old arena, keeping out for any movement. We had searched nearly the entire arena, and were about to give up. "There's no way he's still here." Zach said. "Musta telepored off while he had a chance..." Gil grinned. I replied, "I guess you're right. Let's go back and--" Suddenly, a huge armored man materialized before our eyes! "I hear you're looking for me," he growled. His voice had a horrible sound to it - like the screech of metal on metal. I checked the sketch our employer had given me. "Actually, yes," I replied smoothly. "Will it be the easy way, or the hard way?" "I'll take the hard way," he said, while drawing a wicked, curved sword from his belt. Suddenly, with remarkable speed, Gil shot an arrow aimed directly at the gap in the man's helm! FTTTT!-- It came within an inch of his face before stopping suddenly - he had snatched it out of thin air! "Well, if that's your game... so be it!" he yelled. He sheathed his sword and unhooked a bandolier of knifes from his belt. With supernatural agility, he leaped tens of feet in the air and threw his knifes blindingly fast at us. Gil managed to weave between, but he caught one in his leg, causing to grimace with pain. Zach quickly threw up a wall of super-hot fire, quickly melting all but one lone knife - aimed directly at my face! END OF PART ONE. I'll write and post the other parts if people show fairly good interest. Comments and critisisms are highly welcomed! :
  4. That's probably what happens with appeals and offences anyways... I got in trouble for telling someone what macroing is and to not do it. I got flagged for "encouraging others to break rules"... Dur? :-k #-o
  5. If you're using irons, the minotaurs in the Stronghold drop quite a bit. I got ranged from 46-ish to 54 there by only buying 100 arrows. There's a fence you can shoot across... not very good drops though. Uncuts, but they're rare.
  6. Wow, I'd have thought I was the only person to not know. *You have gained a Self-Esteem Level!* \
  7. I'm glad to let you all who didn't know. Now you can hopefully get your own loot! Or not die if you switch to a free world... and leave us no loot...
  8. nerdattack16. F2P for awhile. Super-duper HIGH FIVE. You rock. Dang, I'm glad it's random. Way too many entries here to be a drop party.
  9. Poison carries over to free worlds? This guy ran past me while I was runecrafting. I suddenly see the splotch of green damage on him! Poisoned in a free world? Preposterous! I set out to discover what would happen. Long story short, he died and dropped a rune scimmy. He didn't make it to the bank, and must have been protecting, as he was wearing full rune. But I had no idea that poison carries over to free worlds. So be wary, members... I'm probably way too slow on this uptake, but whatever. Feel free to call me a noob if you must. \ :P
  10. "Welcome to RuneScape!" "With skill I can play this." I won't tell, it's my secret! Organ in the Lumbridge church... :XD:
  11. I tend to disagree with this quote... after all, this is a new player, who doesn't really know what's going on. Very nice story! It definitely came from a new player's point of view. And even if it's not that correct, so what. It's nice. \
  12. 3 = 4? Amazingly incredible is this. (Yoda I am?) I support!
  13. Just two things: 1. Iron spawns too fast to get 4 gone at a time. :P 2. Super rune? That would make training really easy. Imagine I got lots of bloods, an air staff and a "fire super rune". I just saved craploads of money by not buying fires. Other than that, sweet. This is a good idea. I'd love to wear that armor. This earns the coveted THUMBS UP from a fellow player.
  14. Wow, this is a major flame fest. I won't be surprised if the mods hit this with the lock-stick. ON-TOPIC: Not a bad idea. It's just been already said, and the other topic had some better ideas. He also spelled "Asian" right. \ No, I'd be sad. Then I'd call them a moron. =D>
  15. Basically reiterating here, but 40 defence + rune would help better. But me and all my friends did it with adamant stuff and 30+ defence. I myself was 40 35 30 when I did it. Pretty easy if you have enough food, I only used 2 strength doses and 10 lobsters. Teleport runes are useful too, so it's much easier to get out. Vambraces help a bit more, but not that much. If you don't get an anti-dragon shield, you probably will get one-hitted. I've seen it happen to my friend with about the same stats and armor as yours. Good luck!
  16. Ouch. :wall: I would help, but I'd never, ever, EVER be rich enough to give out significant amounts of money. Well, good luck, and remember that you can always work back from any loss if you're dedicated enough. I got full rune back after the wilderness (cruel!) and I stink at making money and working. 'Specially since I was pretty devastated.
  17. That made little sense... the map and minimap is lined up properly. Varrock lies north, which lines up with the compass and the surroundings. I've always wondered about these rocks too... maybe it's a super-rare ore that respawns once every three years! \ Or a glitch. That works too.
  18. Haha! I hate noobs. I hate "noobs" dearly. I was never a noob, I am not a noob, and I shall never be a noob. However, I was a newb. But I didn't beg, I just happened to get free stuff from random people, and got EXTREMELY LUCKY a lot. Found 650k+ total in cash and items on the ground in only 8 months of playing! Honest to God, yes. Anyways... I would definetly come and give iron sets to the nice, honest, non-begging, gramatically correct newbs.
  19. That's a great price for green, seeing as I bought mine for 100k... #-o
  20. Not sure if this is in the right place... my sig's filesize is too big. Can anybody help me make it 30KB or under but still look good? http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n131 ... fancy2.jpg
  21. Telling somebody I was "selling a nonexistent account"... and somehow getting a black mark for it. Thanks, JaGeX. Thanks a bunch. Oh, and selling a dark cavalier for way less than it was... :wall:
  22. I remember less scammers and autoers. I remember finding 100K and having a heart attack - I was level 14. I remember dying to the Zamorak monks, quitting, then starting here. I remember thinking I was insanely rich for having 250K. I remember coming from Tutorial Island, and everybody was red - I freaked out. I remember asking to buy a "chicken thing plz". I even remember using horrible grammar. That was lame.
  23. Many people here claiming "froob"... it's been there awhile. I thought I made it up... I didn't. And "uber" is also a word that basically means "elite", "l337", etc. So you may need to revise that. :-w "F**king noob" - HAHA! Nice.
  24. I was bank sale-ing (word?) and this guy comes up and offers 1M for it all. No way it's worth 1 million, but I'm overjoyed. He starts asking me to take stuff off, which makes me even happier. He starts putting up random items, and it rang a bell. I emembered a scam story on this board, which the guy would put up stuff and change the money. Well, he changed it to 10K, which I declined, reported, and said "heehee.. nice try." CONCLUSION: This board saved me thousands!
