I have just started construction up to lvl 20 or so, and habe built some book cases. When I search them, i find loads of books from quests etc. Does this mean i can remove the original books from my bank and drop them? I tried briefly with the Abbys book, and it no longer appeared in the search option, although it was still in my backpack inventory. Is it safe to drop these book items, as i dont know if i will need them again and i hate dropping stuff. What other bank space clearing options are there (costume room etc - in simple terms, please)- all the guides are very long and sometimes appear contradictery. Gareth

well, some monsters mage attack is a combined range and magic attack or combined mage/melee. So protect spells dont always protect fully in all cases. G

i'm sure someone will pipe up - 42 hours, you can do that in 3 days AND Sleep! But realistically, whenever i am leveling, i mine to the next lvl of either my mining or smithing. That way I can break up the mining (if i want to) with a little of something else. G

yes yes and yes. For money, try maples and flax, and leave for several days. You get bonus seeds with nests from maples, which can be very very profitable. G

aahh - can of worms time. it depends. Different people prefer different things for different tasks (monster killing as opposed to player killing) Me, i like to hit often, so prefer high attack, plus, i got to lvl 70 before anything else (combat) to get whip... G

hmm. unlike others who list money they have lost/given away, my biggest regret is not keeping a diary of when i got ALL my levels and when i started. I would love to be able to plot a graph of exp against time, and maybe link it to quests completed, or significant events. Dibs on name if it comes in a future update - 'GDA Graph' G G

A better reason to wait longer between collections is that some bonuses (like nests or gems etc) only come after a certain number of raw material, which is made after say 2.3 days. So you need to wait, in this case 3 days for 1 bonus item, or 5 days for 2 bonus items. So the longer you leave it, the more likely you are to get the bonus items. Hope I explained that clearly enough. G

be careful with teaks and mahogony tho, as i found it difficult to sell in any decent quantity. If you are a patient merchanter, then fine, but coal, flax and maples sell quicker. Gareth

Although i havent tried it yet, i like the possible rewards for lower weight, and improved pickpocketing etc. All in all, they seem to have really integrated the new skill around some of the established ones(range, agility, thieving etc), with good gains at realistic lvls (60 ish) Gareth

i thought the easiest way to do this is to have TWO quest capes - 1 for someone who at one time has comlpeted all the quests, and the second if you have currently done all the quests. So say you complete today, you get a blue cape with flashing trim (whatever) - if a new quest comes out the cape changes to blue with solid trim, and doesnt flash again until all quests done. Gareth

I have recently finished alching all my fletching stuff (lvl 71) and now would like to finish raising my smithing from lvl 60 to 65, for devious minds. I am p2p, have around 1.5mill to spend and have opened most useful quests like dwarf cannon, blast furnace, port phasmis etc. My mining lvl is 67, magic 61, rc lvl 47. (ie i can mine mith, craft nats and high alch). I ahve about 500 coal, and 200 mith ores in bank, but no iron. I would like a smithing/smelting solution that is the most time efficient, and that does not lose a lot of money. I have considered smelting gold with gauntlets, but that would mean me doing family crest quest and the quest to get ring of chronos?( i dont like paying keldagrim boat dwarf for gold transport) Mining and Smelting 2722 gold would give me the lvl as well as enough gold to raise crafting, but i would have to do a lot of mining (and more on gems in shilo) to do this, and mining gets boring after a while. (but does raise lvl 51 crafting) I have also looked at cannonballs(3549 smelts), which definately allows me to break even (or profit), just buying ores and smelting etc, but that is so so slow. Anything I have missed? Gareth

More recently, I would have bought all the dragon wood cutting axes I could lay my hands on at 60 -80k then sold after update for 2.6-2.8 million.... Gareth
