But the wilderness isn't illegal, like your example was. It's encouraged, and the sole purpose of pking. Pking, whether you like it or not, is central to the game. And people pk for items and for fun. Taking out the items part kind of makes pking artificial and faked.

If you're not good with people, I think being a cashier would be great, since it'd help you get better people skills. And honestly I'd imagine most people who aren't 'people persons' would prefer to be one - they're just not so great socially.

My brother works at the grocery store bagging and pushing carts, but as a person, he doesn't really benefit from it other than getting stronger from pushing carts for hours. I think besides benefiting monetarily from a job, you should also pick one that builds yourself in some way. And no, I don't mean building character from doing some repetitive manual labor type task. I mean personality building things that help you later in life.

I'm assuming this is the right forum for this thing. I saw it on another forum, and the basic premise is to continue on a piece of work adding onto it. Starting from one string image, you add your own going vertically down. Here's the first image of the string: The next person adds on to it with the same black and white and red template, adding other colors only for emphasis, and adds on their own 600 pixel wide by 400 pixel tall image onto it, continuing the red string. For that reason, try to have your string be 5 pixels wide at the beginning and end of your image, and have them align as close as possible to the image above yours.

Jeze, talk about making something out of nothing. OF COURSE 4+ points will make a shape. You're just acting like some insane conspiracy theorist based off of those shapes. I doubt jagex chose teleportation locations because they made interesting shapes that gave away what future updates they have planned or to give out secrets. Anyone can take dots and connect them. This topic is idiotic. It's basically been proven as fact that there's no reason that rares should be removed, and additionally rares are beneficial in so many ways to this game. Could we change this subforum so you can't make new topics but can only reply, and only topics that are verified to be of high quality from the rants board get moved here? People with rants are unable to differentiate whether their rant is really worth serious discussion or not, and this is a good example of that. I mean if nothing else comes out of this, at least put this topic on the list of banned topics to start rants about.

Isn't any item you obtain yourself an achievement? The problem is jagex often doesn't properly draw the line. Although in my opinion, such a line shouldn't even exist.

The game came out when they were young. Therefore they associate it with being young, so they'd laugh at him. But that says nothing about the value of the game and whether or not someone can be too old to play it.

This whole issue could be fixed though. These items really should be tradable. People shouldn't be able to get away with what they're doing. Either way, if you pk someone who has an untradable item, you're doing something that takes a lot of work just like they did too. Even if you buy an item that would otherwise be untradable because it took someone a lot of work to get, you're also putting in work! It's not like you're getting an untradable item for free. With the exception of holiday rares that show your character age and have no value and quest items that you can obtain multiple copies of, all other items should be tradable. Making items untradable is just stupid. It takes away from so much of the game. Yes, even fire capes should be tradable. The person who got it had to put in a lot of work, and the person who bought it also had to put in a lot of work. Work is work.

I don't even care about making tons of FF threads, its just what i know best about games so i used that as my weapon. Make it seem like there's a problem with too many video game threads right when a poll comes out so you can spam away with even more of these threads when we get our own special subforum! Yes! Use an already existing topic and just ask the small question, or just look it up. The internet's pretty good to us for that kind of a thing. We do understand you want to make tons of threads for your individual questions about final fantasy, and for whatever reason one thread just won't do your needs justice. This forum just can't handle your huge need to discuss final fantasy. Why not just join a final fantasy forum where there are whole forum categories devoted to character classes and how to beat different bosses? Off-topic really just can't quench that for you...

How about we add another hidden subforum in this subforum to do even a little more filtering, eh? :) Personally I wouldn't be against the idea, but that's a biased opinion given that I have enough money to buy a lot of skills. I just don't have the time to level them. I do agree that it would ruin elements of the game though. A lot of people love the ideology behind the cranking out hours and hours on the coal rock and feeling accomplished at the end of the day, because that's the main point behind the game. I just think time is more important nowadays, so I'd be in favor of this kind of update so I could just sell my party hats and buy some skills. Money=time=xp in my eyes, and I have money. Just not time. And I'd like xp. But this would encourage a lot more selling money online, and with there currently being a rule against that, we couldn't have any of that. So in jagex eyes, that would be a big no. While there's a lot to debate about this topic, there's no possibility of it happening for a lot of reasons.

In America at least, your options are kind of narrow at your age. I'd go for a paper route, bagging/carts at a grocery store, or something like babysitting at your age. Maybe just wait for better paying jobs like working at a movie theater or being a waiter or retail in a few years, if there is a higher age requirement for them where you live. I wouldn't rush into getting a job just because you're in highschool so early. I'd wait until I was 16 or 17 to get one. Enjoy having little to no responsibilities and just have fun for now.

If I'm watching anything or not using my mouse, I tend to touch it a lot so it moves so slightly so I don't get a screensaver (which usually lags things up). A lot of people do that I'd imagine - I just find myself doing it way too often.

Yeah, I dislike the massive weather swings too in Michigan. I hate snow in general, unless there's a ton of it and it's impossible to drive. But driving in it's a mess, walking throught it's a mess unless you're dressed for it, and I hate such cold temperatures unless I'm really dressed for it - as in the kind of clothes you wear when you're playing in the snow.
