So just because girls find it fun, it's impossible for it to be classless? It's degrading and isn't even dancing. I'm not in the mood to argue.. Go start a fight elsewhere.. Get out of OT, then? You do relise there's more to this forum (and life for that matter) than fighting, right? It's called debate, or argument - the basis of discussion. If you make a point, you better be prepared to back it up - or at least magically disappear from the thread pretending you didn't see the rebuttal if you know you can't win. ;)

:D He was probably just too jealous  That or back in his day people actually danced at school dances - not have air sex.
-
I think it's pretty funny. That or I just won't come to terms with calling that dancing.

I'm typing this with my eyes closed, even before I put my hands on the keyboard. My eyes are closed now but keyboards have bumps on the home keys so you don't need to look, even before you put your fingers on the keys.
-
I don't ever look at the keyboard when I type. I thought most people don't either...?

On the other hand, it would get people to actually use the gamesroom as something other then a waypoint for glory recharges. Jagex said they don't allow betting there because people use programs to tell them which move to take, so it'd be unfair.
-
Then they would be forced to raise the minimum age to 18. But yeah it WOULD own. No they wouldn't. It's not real money. Ex: Kids can gamble at arcades with tokens.

It's not like the non-maxxed out players didn't spend time levelling. Maybe if we spent all our time levelling in rsc in rs2, we would be maxxed out. It's not only about maxxing out then versus now. It's about any time spent then versus now. And a lot of the rsc players are much older and don't even have the time to spend those three 'no-lifing' months maxing out anyways. I'm sure all nonmaxxed rsc players would level using PC, most just don't have the time now - which, again, is another reason why it's frustrating.

Not forgetting the more you exaggerate it. I know so many people who act like they've got the plague when they have a cold, hahah... Yeah, especially when kids won't go to school over it. The only time I won't go to school is if I'm throwing up. Otherwise I just deal with it. I know some girls at my school who call their parents and ask to get called out if they get a stomach ache.

Yeah, I'm sick right now, and usually get sick every winter. I'm great about washing my hands and not touching germy things, but I probably don't get enough vitamin C.

My main things are unlimited customization, a sense of hugeness of never running out of things to do, a good community, and a large enough map that it would take ages to cover the whole thing, like some games already have. I like to show off my creativity, and also be able to do co-op things with friends.

After a good month or two, after you clear your ignore list out barely anyone contacts you again. Idiots in general tend to play runescape for a really small amount of time, because they realize they just don't fit in - hence the being ignored. Personally I use it for fairy ring TP's, and it's been really helpful.

I wouldn't call dueling a 'limited form,' as you can bet billions or your whole networth on one duel, since there's no cap.

I heard they're allowed to take co-op classes where they do get to work. They can also take internships and apprenticeships. While I'm not in favor of needless rules, for people who aren't capable of making good decisions and only think 'in the now,' I think it's for the best. Now it might be irritating for students who don't want all these would-be-dropouts in their classes, I still think it's the best for everyone's future. You really can't go anywhere as a dropout unless you do something miraculous on your own. And the majority of these people just end up working for their family's trade or going into construction or some type of manual labor job.

Dumb... define the meaning of the word Dumb of how you wrote that last sentence. level 100 players call me "dumb" when I'm getting piled at pits and don't put Protect from Melee on. Is there a reason to put prayer on but under my own "code" I never pray against other players no matter what level they are. ok anyway, I can say that I don't like half the Rs2 Products because they go and call 117s like me, Nerds, geeks just because I've played since the beginning? How would they know I'm an nerd or geek when I hardly play Runescape these days, they probably play more than me... When I look at a player, I would know if they're an Rs2 Product or been playing since Rsc, by their attitude, I can only tell when I'm playing, not on forums. anyway, Pest Control.... I wish jagex never made that lame program... Its too easy to level, A Player can get lvl 100 in a month just PC. Most that do PC are the pures who want the higher mage, strength, attack etc... but I've also never seen an RSCer who is any good at all in RS2. Zezima, trixstar, thehate, muskee, englishking, xpx, arsenes, lightning, miner cire,bubbles30,bam sukka, ultimo aries, bahamzero, geerichie, the old nite, galaxyg, spacemansg1, s1acker,aled alig,marryn... Congrats on making the most ignorant comment i have ever seen posted here  Yeah, that was way out of left field. In my opinion, some of the best rs2 players came from rs1, which makes sense. That great list only scratched the surface of rsc players who are 'good' too. They're definitely not like rare lost relics or anything as some people make em sound.

Sounds like your average teen to be honest. You want independence so you're being rebellious by changing how your parents want you to look. While I'm sure there are other points on your parents side you're completely failing to mention, it's pretty natural to go through this kind of a phase. So at this point it's up to you. How important is it that you 'express yourself' - aka - act rebellious and start dressing differently? It's obvious that you have two choices, given the state you're Dad's in. Stay relatively similar to how you are now, or take the "I need my space, I'm an independent teenager" route, in which you'll probably continue having these outings with your dad. Oh, and sorry if I sound condescending. Whenever I talk about things like this I unintentionally revert to psychologist mode.

Man, do I have the site for you: http://www.dumbledoreisnotdead.com Although I did recently read on digg or somewhere an article where JK Rowling acknowledged that site but said that Dumbledore won't be coming back to life. I tried searching for the link, but couldn't find it again.

Spend a lot of time with your family or people who were close to the person who died. Time and talking with people who feel like you do are the best healers.
-
Yeah, and they don't mention when one of their top high-scoring players passes away. It just goes to show the transformation they've made into a corporation. This thread reminds me of how close they used to be with the players. They still interact with us occasionally, but it feels artificial.

defining/catagorizing people, right or wrong?
Adam007 replied to andufusthebronze's topic in Off-Topic
Generalizations/stereotypes tend to usually be true just because that's how they became generalizations. But since they're obviously not always true, you can't go by them. Categorization like that just further encourages people to fall into stereotypes. -
Has the drop rate of clue scrolls gone down?
Adam007 replied to dudeonthenet's topic in General Discussion
Hey look i'm a critic now: i think your wrong on that, those 20+ people may be multiple people, perhaps the creater looked at it multipled times, and u read the topic, then u post a reply, then u look at it again=2 views(or how i think it works?).....even if perhaps 20+ people have looked at this how can this be misleading, it may lead us to clear up wether or not drop rates have gone up or down, leading us into the right direction if good evidence is presented. Even if those 20+ somewrad people did not think the drop rates had gone down or up, some of them might not have had any intentions on trying for a clue? perhaps thats why they did not chose to post? As you can see i can post many more variables you missed, but right now i'm just acting like a smart allic, just trying to tell people that you are wrong, or you could be right, just a little off or a litttle more on then you thought you'd be, i didn't want your post to mislead people...... I said: I took out a third because of variables like that, which you completely failed to notice. We could even take half, or a quarter and we're at 3 out of 7, still under half. -
I don't care that people use pest control or anything that they do. What does annoy me is that they only had to spend under half the time getting the same levels I got. I'm not annoyed at them, and I encourage levelling the fastest way possible. I'm annoyed at jagex for allowing this to happen, and in turn, allowing such a large group of people to easily attain such high combat levels.

I can't divide a whole year by it's ups and downs. I could list that I got a wii, an ipod, got accepted into the colleges I wanted, but that doesn't sum up a year. I can't really explain it - a year's more than just the ups and downs, and I'd have to take a good hour to really properly summarize it.

I wake up to a talk radio station in the morning. While the first few seconds of it being on full blast are really irritating, especially with talking, I like to lie in bed for a good 10 minutes and listen. I wake up in such slow motion I wouldn't get anything done otherwise for awhile.

L1k3 zm0g 1t5 4d4m!!!! :XD: I agree actually, but if you must know I wouldn't consider my self "famous" at all.I was maybe alittle popular in the earlier days (scapeboard/beginning of new tip forums) but no more then that. Perhaps I could make a return but I just don't have time time to post as much anymore. I keep forgetting to ask you and Adam, what happened to the merchanters forum? And i don't care. These threads just promote even more "OMG look at me!" members than already are around here. It got hacked twice, and the guy who was hosting it decided to put an end to it. We're moving to bigger and better things though. ;)
