Those Amazingly Vivid Dreams
Yeah, I know about that weird spasm thing that happens when you fall in a dream. I think it might be related to sleep paralysis (being unable to move between sleeping and waking up for a second). It's really weird. Cloaked, I can relate to that dream. I had one like it, and it was awesome. It's possible to have lucid dreams often, you just have to train yourself to it.

Those Amazingly Vivid Dreams
Those are called Lucid dreams, and there's a whole bunch of information about em. I'm going to make a thread with everything about it in a few days.

Those Amazingly Vivid Dreams
I couldn't really describe what I'm talking about in a title, so that's why it sounds so lame. But this is what I am trying to talk about. Those dreams that you have no idea how they could have happened. Dreams of things that you never experienced before but somehow are conjured up in your mind. (I know there have been similar topics, but this one is somewhat different. I'm talking about specific types of lucid type dreams, not to post just random dreams you can remember.) Things like in a dream creating some great type of music you've never heard before. Creating new types of creatures in dreams. Stuff that you've never had or seen happen in reality, but so vividly happen in your mind, and when you wake up, you can't really reproduce it. Somehow our brains have this amazing capacity while we sleep to come up with these 'amazing dreams' I'm talking about. I had one dream a few months ago that I can only barely remember how visually stunning it really was when I had it. It was in this three dimensional space and there were these colorful galaxy swirls everywhere. I was flying at such high speeds, and there was so much color and stars but at the same time the sheer hugeness and blackness of space. Everything was so vibrant and moving - I can't mentally reproduce it anymore, but it was an amazing experience. So who else has had these amazingly vivid type of dreams that you can't really imagine and know can't exist in real life, and what were they?

The next evolve?
I've heard that we're going to be losing our pinkies of our feet through evolution. Can't remember why or how though. I agree with scruffy though. Generally species evolve because of natural selection. A mutation occurs in a being and if it helps the thing survive and outlive the others to pass its own genes on, that specific type will pass on and be the evolving product. But right now there isn't any natural selection or anything pressing down on humans that will make the fittest survive. So if we do evolve at all it will just be because of lifestyle changes, I guess. Things like losing the pinky of our toes because we don't need it anymore. But who knows. If we were to evolve, I think we'd end up looking like this: I doubt being fat would be an issue in the future. People would be genetically engineered and altered for optimum health and fitness.

The guess who game
That's what I was thinking but I couldn't tie in 'His land is for the free' at all. :? Unless by 'for the free,' Bubsa means free to do anything in the Netherlands, but I think that's way overthinking it.

Iran's President Bans Western Music
From http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051219/ap_ ... _music_ban That's as ridiculous as it gets. That's just going backwards from what people there try so hard to earn. This new president of theirs disguists me. I can't believe he said (in the article) that he thought the Holocaust was a myth, and he wants Israel "wiped off the map." Does anyone know how long that guy has been in power for? I don't really know much about Iran, but this president can only lead the country downhill... :?

Favourite Comidien??
Dane Cook and Brian Regan came to mind.

King Kong
I just saw it last night. I thought it was great. The time factor I didn't mind (I don't even understand why a movie being long is a bad thing). It started off slow because the characters had to be developed and all, but when the action started going, there was some of the best fighting scenes in any movie I've ever seen. This movie really deserves a few Oscars. So what did everyone else think about it?

Are you afraid of the dark?(show)/ Classic Nick show memorys
I loved animorphs! I read like every book of that series. I agree with you merc though. I think once survivor came out, it led to a reaction that pretty much ruined the majority of tv programming.

Are you afraid of the dark?(show)/ Classic Nick show memorys
Aww man, nick doesn't show classics of that kind quality anymore. Those were great (or maybe we loved em cuz that's what we saw when we were kids? :P) AYAOTD probably wouldn't scare me nowadays, but back then it was such a freaky show to watch at night with all the lights off and everything. You made the topic, up to you. :P Can either have it solely for afraid of the dark or about all of those old nick shows.

Best video game of all time!
Gonna agree with the topic starter. I think the best game ever was Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Had so much depth, such great gameplay, a great story, and an amazing soundtrack.

This got me thinking....
He might be posting in a joking matter, but I think he's serious in thinking that way. I'm in a real analytical mood after 3 hours of homework anyways, so excuse my 'over-seriousness.' Without failure, everybody has to make up some excuse to give themselves a reason for looking like a fool... makes me laugh every time. Anyway, kinda funny I guess. I like how they had to get rid of the "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'" movie posters because of the gun in his hand, while the FBI and Doom movie posters have guns drawn next to it. I wasn't giving an excuse for 'acting like a fool.' I didn't act like a fool - I just answered objectively and said why I did. I still stand by what I said whether or not he was joking. Sounds like he really believes that and isn't being sarcastic or joking or anything. Not that it really matters either way... Schwarzenegger, he does have a hugely inproportional chest, you're right.

Favorite quote or life lesson?
"Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if.."; And then do it." and "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." - Albert Einstein

This got me thinking....
I doubt Shadow getting a gun has anything to do with 50cent or black people in general. Shadow's been around for awhile, and is pretty much the darker version of Sonic. They give him a gun, like many video game characters have, and you somehow jump to the conclusion that since Shadow is black-colored, the Japanese developers subconsciously were influenced by the way 50cent and other rapper type people stereotypically have guns? I don't think so. :?

Are Atheletes Over-Paid?
My question is: Would all of these professional atheletes still play if their income was severely cut? I think so. But the thing is the stadium owners can afford to pay a ton to players, so they do. Those players often make even more money by doing endorsements and comercials anyways. The one job that seems like it would be great though would be to be a the kicker. A "professional football kicker." Go out onto the field a few times per game, kick a ball, and reel in millions. :P

Community service
For NHS I have to do over this year and the next year a total of 68 hours of community service. Done about 12 so far I'd say. Out of your own will you ask though? Honestly, I doubt I'd ever do 68 hours of community service just because I want to 'better the community.' I've done some community service out of pure volunteering on my own accord, but most of it (and most of the community service I know my friends do) is for alterior motives.

how lucky were YOU?
My best luck was winning a green party hat in a big raffle two years ago. I haven't really had any good runescape drops ever.

Messing with Telemarketers
I'd imagine the telemarketer could tell that you weren't serious. They're probably used to dumb things like that. Sounds like you guys had fun with it at least..

Messing with Telemarketers
Lol necro, that's just plain mean, but probably was twistedly funny to watch. I haven't ever gotten any religious people trying to convert or anything at the door, but we do get people who want to sell stuff or people asking for donations. Darn house-marketers. Even worse than tele-marketers IMO.

Messing with Telemarketers
My family's on the list but we still get calls. Just a lot less. I found this list. Actually has a lot of ones I haven't heard before on the usual lists.

First thing you did at Tip.it forums?
Back on sb, probably in the market board or asking help for some quest I vaguely remember posting about.
