  1. Mmeber doors/rooms i guess... I actually felt like that was high ... the previous floor i got like 1500xp... I never die.. im lvl 109 combat and dungeoneering is just sooo boring... but I knock out 2-3 floors a day... i must get that rapier (something i would rather pay a 1 time fee of 10m or even 30m than go through the effort and getting tokens..) Edit: up to 7718 tokens.. i was an idiot and bought the coal bag.. awhile back... so 11718 tokens... divided by roughly 150 average only makes it out to be 78 dungeons.. doesn't sound like but it sure does feel like alot.. Dungeon... Jagexs way of saying screw you... : 94 crafting required/ i have 93 crafting... 89 mining required / i have 85 mining... disarm a door.... 104 strength required door ....all in one dungeon... Not to burst your bubble or anything....but the rapier wasn't that fantastic. The 2h was so much more worth the 40k tokens. I was also excited to get rapier; wasnt too impressed.
  2. Na, i would say they use a hose. Or they just posess one of those ultimate gamer stations designed by the MIT guys. I cant help but feel sorry for these people. Save your pity, because many of them have healthy lives outside of Runescape. Zarfot is a great example. I was specifically referring to the ones at the top of the dung high scores. Na, i would say they use a hose. Or they just posess one of those ultimate gamer stations designed by the MIT guys. I cant help but feel sorry for these people. I'm sorry, but that is extremely rude. I'm sure they don't need your pity. How do you know that they don't lead a very healthy life? For all we know, they could be in a family of siblings who all share one account. I was doing the math earlier. They gain 600-800k per day. @40k/hour over the last few months, that is around 16 hours a day of RS. I don't know for a fact that they lead unhealthy lives...but the odds are in my favor that I am right A family of siblings who all share one account = account sharing = cheating. That's impressive, but totally believable. That is 273k per day in any of the skills.

  4. Does anyone know these people ? What do these people do for a living? I mean, are they in high school, college, graduates? How long do they play per day? How come they have so much free time? What do they eat? How do they go to the bathroom (a bucket?)
  5. As an insurance policy, I bring tele runes wherever there is danger. I hardly actually use them, except once last week where I was at 8hp. I saw my 3 cosmics in invent, sighed relief and proceeded to the runes tab. Sadly, there was no tele....
  6. how do you tele out of a boss using group gate?
  7. If you can drop fast enough, then hobgoblin mines on a BH+1 item world can beat that. I have gotten upwards to about 43k in an hour. Thats of course, hoping that people don't attack you.
  8. What's wrong with bank deposit box? The price of iron ore currently is way over priced anyways, they were about 100 ea (75ea when I started) before the crazy inflation. Its a good idea if you want train mining fast, or simply deposit your coal from mining guild. In fact, get your fire and nat runes, mine the iron ore, then go to guild mine the coal and superheat and dump the steel bar in the deposit box, the possibility of staying there until both smith and mining hit 99 is a good idea if you ask me. The fact that all those new (anything happen within recent 2 years) updates are making F2P a lot more easier should be under "what were they thinking????"....................Try RS in earlier time like 2004 to 2006, I don't even know how most of us manage to achieve what we did back then There's always two sides to every trade. Prices are what they are and reflect the market's supply and demand. Not complaining about that at all. It just seems like almost anyone can bank there. It is arguably the best spot to mine iron (hobgoblin comes in second) and is available at 15 dung. I am just saying that, it should at least take some level of achievement to get that. Look at gravite 2h. Best k0 weapon in the game and takes a considerable amount of dungeoneering to get it. I just wish they'd made a level req that was more fitting.
  9. Rune rocks are awesome. You can alch/mine/superheat while waiting for the spawn. It does get awfully crowded but i guess that is expected. Maples are f2p!! Woot. Idk about the speed against willows, but thanks jagex. Hill giants = prayer. So, this is good. More lessers. We already have enough. But the imps are good for tallies I guess. The place with the deposit box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF were they thinking??????????? It should at least be 65 dung to enter. Its way overpowered and now almost anyone can insta-bank their iron. Not cool.
  10. Thats exactly why they nerfed that. Don't pick stuff up thats not useful? In the early levels <25, it is very slow. It gets better after 50.
  11. Yeah really, thanks. 70 magic is like... 600k xp? That's nothing at all to rate.. When I got a skill to 70 for the first time, I was really overjoyed. I posted it everywhere. You are free to post any rate you want (0-10, no justifications reqd), but you need to realize that some people might have just recently joined the game, so it's important not to downplay it.
  12. They might as well change the forum name to "Post your 99s here" Gratz on the mage level. Keep working on those other skills :)
  13. Lets not get carried away here. The new upcoming updates might not be what we are expecting. There will be flaws. I try my best to resist jumping to conclusions from the BTS, so that when the update does happen, I wont be that surprised. Knowing jagex, we free players might get shorted in some way
  14. Can we have synthetic swap instruments that other rich players can use on these policies?
  15. If prices updated continuously, buyouts would be far more effective. We don't need that. In case you didn't know, people manipulate on the stock exchange also. Buyouts would last minutes and then crash, as the price is unsustainable. Sure you would have spikes in the prices, but there is the natural tendency for markets to clear and equilibrate. So, you could make millions if you timed it right, lose millions if you are the so called "greater fool" and have no effect if you are a normal consumer. I think it is a good parallel. Look at the real markets: hedge funds and prop shops try to manipulate all the time, but to little avail. (May 6 is an exception) Yes, if ge prices update around hourly, that would take the average 1 month buyout to crash within 1 day or so, while making the rare market rise also until they all crash to their real prices. Exactly, which is what I've been promoting all this time. Increased liquidity is almost always socially beneficial.
  16. I am trying to get those up, but it keeps saying that I have to be on some other world, etc. :) Thanks all for the rates
  17. Solution is to make the GE work the same as the stock exchange. Prices need to update continuously. Increases liquidity and makes raw materials unavailable for only a few minutes or so. Liquidity is always good.
  18. respectable stats. 8/10 Definitely need that 85 mining. Excellent bank. 9.5/10 Unfortunate that you can't fully experience dungeoneering.
  19. I've been playing on and off since 2006. Took a break from 2008-2010. Recently started back up for dungeoneering. Used to be a rares merchant back in 2007. Spend everything on 85 smithing before I quit in 2008. That cash pile is still here. A full dungeon in f2p. My awesome gravite 2h. Max so far. But I hear it can hit 340 at my str lvl.
  20. go to a crowded world and do rimmington mines. Mine all, drop all using mousekeys
  21. Not sure if the other people who even posted play FOG. The majority of people playing fog are there to TRAIN MAGIC. They don't CARE about tokens. If paired with someone like you a wall-hugger / hider it is frustarting. In your rant you fail to mention how often the people you are hunting just remain at the center of the game collecting charges. If I was paired up with someone like you I would simply exit. It's an unwritten rule that most players play by where they just go to the middle to speed things up. Try it sometime -.- You still get tokens. I guess it's just my personality but if I"m playing a game and I'm being insulted, then maybe the problem is not other's its you. Try reading a guide or two on how to play FOG and use your observations for how others play. If the person you are hunting directly goes to middle you should as well. Runescape people communicate by insulting you if what you are doing negatively impacts their gameplay. Stop being selfish. And FYI jagex creates mini-games and the way they are actually played by RS players are two different versions. Don't believe the Jagex version of how to play a mini-game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hfYJsQAhl0 I love you.

And FYI jagex creates mini-games and the way they are actually played by RS players are two different versions. Don't believe the Jagex version of how to play a mini-game. You are one of those players that I hope I dont meet in FOG. My intention is to get tokens, and for that I need to win with lots of charges. I do whatever I can to get there. Running and hiding is part of the game. Its not like I am cheating. Your points are totally bogus and idiotic. "If your opponent goes to the middle, so should you" - What have you been smoking? It is a minigame designed to test your wits against someone else's. And if you are too dimwitted and just stand, then it is your fault if you lose. "try reading a guide of FOG and I'll understand that tanking in middle is the best way" - I read some of guides in this forum and other forums and nowhere was I able to come to the conclusion that tanking in middle was best. It only works if lvl 100+ is fighting lvl 30s. I have over 7000 rating, so dont even go there. "stop being selfish" - I loved this comment. So you are saying that I should sacrifice some tokens so that I improve the common good of RS. This isn't real life. We are not looking for the socially optimum solution here. It is a competitive game, meaning that our aim is win. Plus, some of us play for tokens and rating, so losing is not an option for me. "dont believe the jagex way of playing fog" - Unfortunately, the outcome of running and hiding is from simple game theory. If I can deviate from tanking in the middle to increase my tokens output, then I will do it. Similarly, if my opponent can deviate from tanking in the middle to increase his/her tokens output, he will do it. The resulting equilibrium is that both players run and hide.
  23. The game thinks sonic was leeching off a high lvl player and probably gave some penalty. just my theory But another theory of mine is that the base and prestige xp of a floor depends on how many rooms you open. Not all dungeons are created equal. Some small ones have 12 rooms max, while others might have the full 16. So another guess is that, when sonic was playing with the lvl 88, they unlocked close to 32 rooms, except one, and with pinkbullet, you unlocked maybe 25 or so. Again, these are all just conjectures. I'd love to dungeon with any of you.
  24. It is pretty good. I have personally tried it. And this is what you do. Go on complex 1 and repeat until you get the skele horde. For me, they are similar to training on flesh crawlers. However, there are downsides. You have to heal every once in a while and you better not log out. Therefore, there is some overhead.
