So.. gold amulets/necklaces are 'consistently decent' 60k/hr material Cow hides are probably ok money, no idea on the rate there. 100k/hr would be my guess depending on the killer bot count(you want high). Experiment with making hard leathers. Flour-pizza/pastry is 120kish clay mining ~110k water talis are still dumb expensive so 50/50 gop is 200k

Ok mandatory squeel convo. Is this one of the first updates which negatively affects p2p more than f2p? They took away our hiscores so buying xp? lol Most of the items are p2p so.... meh.

I agree 100%, maybe town by town within some boundry varrok walls. There is a side event later where jagex will post cryptic clues as to the eggs location, that should be fun.

Funny thing, first thing I thought MW stood for was Mech Warrior. It does take some digging, but there are still great original games out there. Right now there is an oversaturation of games more shovelware, but the same number of gems. I guess that equates to a decline.

Walking from place to place is super boring, remember rune mysteries? now try it without teleports, yawn. Now that may be poor quest writing for what we had back then, with these teleports it is almost acceptable. I did not mind home tele ->canoes but this is much sleeker and gets me to edgy. Exploration? you still have to find the things. Once you find them it creates a nice starting point to spread, because you can always find out where you started, then go a different direction.

I found rune mining tedious. Hop into random world, lobby, next one on the list, lobby, repeat ~5 times, find rune start mining, write down world and time, back to step one. Mix in pkers come and attack, and the occasional extra person taking an ore or two. You will be doing quite a bit of nothing for the majority of the mining. Scouts are probably recommended, and speeds up step one.

In the long run including food runs 35kish, str pots will give you a few more and flashing whatever a few more. Uncharged berserker shield is cool, gravite rapier would also add 500-1k more /hr.

An old thread, but I like it so. Not being active in the clan world when I first started, I generally feel things went to pot after the wildy was released. Being so darn fickle and having to sell my inventory many times over(pre item banks) if i could have just stuck to mining and smithing, oh man. Not getting a high mining level pre-full inventory stoppage, would have saved so many clicks. Missing out on all the recorded events... Wonder what I was up to. Being stubborn and going for exactly 70 all stats.

I tend to add and talk with just about anyone who wants to, of course fl gets cleansed about every 6 months, or when I scroll to the bottom and see random names.

I wonder if at least part of the reason f2p can not get use clan citadels is because of the botting situation. My initial reaction to closed-bar citadels was that Jagex just wanted to pressure f2pers in a different manner, clan pressure. Bots in f2p do not make Jagex money, and I am sure if citadels were f2p some clans would be crawling with citadel bots.

At least they did not revert back to platemail bikinis. My biggest surprise was rune going back to the neon teal.

Hype tends to last 2-3 days. I personally sold my sets ~20 mins after the update, but I am very cautious when it comes to merching. (@~300k profit per set)

*just more baseless speculation* It would be cool if the tasks were somehow tied in with the "inner dungeoneering rewards" aka released on the same day, but I agree that kill bosses "x y z" are easy way to tier the tasks based on dungeoneering level.

Fishing at karmaja just shot up in people number, I would usually see 5-6 people, currently over 20. The price on nearly everything(airs, food, ores) is falling and has been for at least a week, I think it is more than just some bxp clearance sale.

I know they are in the business of getting new members.... I just hope the marker never spins over to something really cool.

I would laugh a little if a f2p got the godsword, showed up members item then just said in his/her's bank.

Darn food stuffs has gotten expensive. Is there a quicker way to get kebabs besides 1 at a time in al karhid or on the GE?

From what I remember of Runeite mining, I'm not sure it's *the* best skilling way to make money in F2P anymore. Given the current prices, I'm not even sure it's the most profitable. Mining iron or clay is much easier, doesn't require hopping worlds a thousand times and makes almost as much (if not more). I would say getting lucky and staying online for a long extended period of time rune would outpace iron/clay. But yeah mining clay @ 330k/hr atm? = sweetness!(well if the cat is not out of the bag, now it is) On the weekend hill giants are remarkably crowded, as in I did not find a world with less than 2 people in the resource dungeon. I would not spend tokens on altar tabs(unless fire runes go to 75+ or waters 50+) the air altar is so close, that the time spent getting tokens is totally not worth the time saved.

Smithing scroll(efficiency?) coal bag if you smelt at a furnace, or do the mine an ore then super it into a bar thing. Rapier is quickest xp... if you have enough money/tokens laying about. frost tome if you want to do a lot of bones to banans. We had a talk about frost vs blastbox for combat magic training, at the time runes were super cheap so blast came out ahead, now? shrug. Also on combat magic get the best arcane necklace.
