In terms of safespotting yes, but does the protective power of the plate offset the time used to get food? That is the trickier estimate. I am going to assume hills are much quicker, less than half the lp, does not hit, spawn quick. With all that said I think I will do lessers.

Back to talking about how expensive prayer is. I really do not want to try to merch up the ~400m. I am also not into "make money via X, and buy and bury" So I think my options are; bone yard(not an option to me), hill giants, or lessers with urns. Between lessers and hillies which is quicker? Lessers will make more money on the side. And lack of picking up bones and burying mid shots is a plus. Def level 97 range 95, I would range the hills with g dhide body and maple short. Not entirely sure on the lessers, I will probably not safe 100%, so is rune plate with sighted even close to maple short in killing speed?

I think you are still in super exploring mode so try to finish all easy/beginner tasks? Not sure what the levels are, but look into manage thy kingdom, that is a constant source of free income.

Care to elaborate what do you mean by the sweet-spot? A bit late, but in f2p solo dungeoneering up until level 80ish it will be very hard, then 80-100 is the sweet spot where there is still some challenge. After 100 and especially after 120 soloing is a joke(good for speed dungeoners, but bad for the do it for fun people) On my level 70 I quite often run into the came caliber monsters as my 120.

I think it is worth it to bite the bullet and do tiaras. For 50/50 gop addict still functions, but as it is a public chat there are and always will be 1-2 resident crashers, once you ID who they are it is usually clean sailing.

Yes it seems you are outside the 'sweet spot' for dungeoneering. If it is only 3k exp then I would c6 small from floor one and go from there.

On the roach soldiers after ~1k tracked kills i have never gotten the jug of wine nor the black helmet, it leads me to believe they are p2p specific drops, or just really really rare. A minor fault, but the coin drop is also wrong, it is 5, 100-400. If you want to bring your guide "to the next level" I would suggest killing ~1000 of each thing recording drops and presenting a drop rate for each item.

Switching from software to open gl bumped by fps by 15. Playing gop on air altar in resize all bells and whistles off was ~6fps, switch to opengl and back to 20s.

If all that combat stuff came out at the same time I would certainly call it a new 'era'. RS has seen it's fair share of drastic game changing updates, item banks, wilderness, p2p... etc. but only the total revamp of the entire game not one specific aspect was really enough to call it RS2. I bet it will be in small increments so it will not feel quite as groundbreaking, but at the end of the day it still will be.

I think est is still -5 bst, so wouldn't that make it 9 am for est'ers? I bet they did it slightly early to help keep the crowds managable. If you are picking up then maybe use miths. But any time saved using a high tier arrow is very much offset because you are wasting time running and picking up piles and drops. There is not much money to be made by killing any monster in f2p, so I would suggest just killing anything which has a barrier in front shooting bronze.(Each improvement in arrow quality adds about 500 more xp/hr) On top of ice mountain shooting at guards, in the cow pen at craft guild shooting hob goblins, in varrok sewer right after rats shooting skeletons nice fence there, in daemonheim binding a bow and arrows, can try monks, but I think you are too high for them, if you have decent level/defense the red spiders in varrok sewer are great for ranged xp, there is a nice mushroom patch that you can hide behind and no drops to distract.

We will have to wait at least a month, depending on how the Jagex rents the servers, for the contract to expire. I would expect to see some consolidation.
