I retract my comment about you claiming to not bot, I had that argument with Howbadisbad, sorry about that. For the sake of arguying, tell me what motivates someone to seek information on how bots run?

Your accusation of Wolfe could equality have meant that knowing all that stuff about bots made him a suspected botter. You cannot claim your written skills make your one-liners that obvious. I'm not gonna search though 17 pages on this thread plus the multiple other botting threads just to show you something you know to be true but are pretending otherwise. My comment about botting knowledge is a lot more relevant than the discussions between skillers and MHers that appeared on botting threads.

I never contradicted myself. I said that being defensive from the start about not botting makes you look more like a botter. Please go back to school and learn some reading comprehension before you post :thumbup: Please show me to a school that will make me write one-liners that needs to be read "between the lines" like yours... I still claim that comprehensive knowledge of the botting community is usually obtained through first hand experience. You also have been saying a couple times in this thread that you don't bot, following your logic, your defensive behavior indicates your claims are not to be trusted. edit @ Brodly I must assume that your anguish over getting "butthurt" must cause you some pain and is probably clouding your judgement. Don't worry, unless you're form the deep south, you should outgrow that fear.

Nice post Wolfe, I also feel that the issue should be made more public. Don't let botter-loving (I usually spell that without the loving at the end) tip.iters try to discredit you. Especially when they are contradicting themselves saying that knowledge of botting sites make you look like a botter, then showing they know more about those botting sites...

slight update Jdelacroix has reached 199M in herblore, construction and FM, expect something extravagant over the week-end I think... Paperbag has reached 1,6B xp yesterday, but Elvis (Nintendo Swe) is close by. Expect Drumgun to pass Gertjaars for rank 4 next week. Lan is also closing in on 1,8B and rank 6 currently held by Erw J.

Larryr has been at 156M since mid 2006... he then quit.. dunno reason.. and remained the number 1 RCer for 2-3 years straight (while being a retired player) until Phoenix Odin finally passed him... what larryr did was and is pretty amazing considering he got 100% of his exp by personally running the nats. Before Hunter, before Summoning. but anyways, on topic: read the last 2-3 pages (which I hadn't read before). Was pretty cool to see Aasiwat/Skiller post :P. I also wondered if any of the top players read this thread, I guess they do. Hmmm Larryr had people running essence for him/her before the restriction on trades... Still amazing but what Phoenix Odin achieved is harder IMO.

I had the same problem... loggued out very frustrated after 50K xp... still no rocks.

Probably because he's still getting collateral XP from dungeoneering, might not be that much but he gained at least 200K xp that way since dungeon got released. Also the fact that no one is in position to grab that rank 1 from him anytime soon. So he's in no hurry to max out. Edit @ Botan Effigies have certainly changed many players' habits of training. Zarfot and kingduffy are amongst the top players that quit their skilling to focus on slayer when effigies were released. Anyone with the goal to max out should take advantage of these and especially not max out 2 effigies combining skills... @ meister14 I doubt that players going for these goals would stop that close because they got tired of training the skill. Some will do it on purpose , maybe to combine several skills (Jdelacroix) or to wait for nre opportunities (Phoenix Odin with Dungeon - several players with effigies ans assisting).

Nice move Jagex, hoping that will clear out the scum from this game if only for a short period. Kudos to Jagex for doing it, but major letdown that they let the situation get to this point. Would also be nice if a lot of high level slayers got banned from this, that would clear out some training spots. I might pay a visit to red chins if the botters are too scared to log these days.

Gotta admit it's very nice to get some feedback from a top player, nice of you to drop by Aasiwat. Update of the top 9 1- Skiller (formerly Aasiwat - 2,17B) : Still training mostly construction these days, Skiller has gained a bit on Zarfot last week consolidating his lead with 80M xp. Coming Milestones: 100M slayer which could make him the first player to get 10 skills at 100Mxp (currently leading all players with most skills over 100M with 9. 2- Zarfot (2,09B) Looks like he's taken a break from fletching lately, Zarfot is mostly training slayer and seems to be banking effigies rather than using them. Coming milestones: 200M fletching (6th skill) and 2,1B. 3- Jdelacroix (2,07B) : He's mostly finishing herblore these days as well as some smithing/magic. Coming milestones : 200M construction, 200M herb and 200M firemaking (5th, 6th and 7th 200M skills). 4- Gertjaars (2,02B) inactive. 5- Drumgun (2,01B) : The player with the most skills at 200M has slowed considerably in the last week while still training fletching and some thieving . Coming milestones: 100M fletching (9th skills at 100M, which would tie him with Skiller for most). 6- Erw J (1,80B) : Not much new from him, training WC at moderate speed. Coming milestones: 100M WC, as well as 100M summoning even though nothing indicates he will get it 7- Lan (1,79B) : Lan just reached 100M ranged (8th skill at 100M) while still training slayer. He's using his effigies on the spot these days though. Coming milestones: 1,8B 8- Kingduffy (1,68B) Not much new from Kingduffy... some slayer at a slow pace. Coming milestones: 1,7B! 9- Paperbag (1,59B) : Still going somewhat slowly lately, might lose his rank 9 soon. Coming milestone: 1,6B xp. Other notable players: Elvis (formerly Nintendo Swe) (1,59B), Elias (1,57B), Telmomarques (1,53B), Green098 (1,51B)

Some agility courses do not permit familiars.... As for movement, nothing shows correlation in my experience, although using a familiar special seems to "reset" the timer for the next gathering. For example, a fruit bat summoned and left alone will gather anywhere from 12 to 20 items, while if you are using its special, it might only gather 1-5 items...

There's already a discussion like this in questionnaires... in fact there are probably multiple threads like this one...

Nothing new from me, if I get a clue during my slayer task, I do it. I might make an exception with lvl 4 for a while and cut my tasks in multiple trips.

He now has more xp so we know it isnt a problem. the tracking site I use has him stuck at 2,147B... kinda annoying.

Concerning the article on slayer etiquette, I lost that aspect in the last year or so. People on tip.it are telling me to play my game and ignore bots and such. So I play my game and bully out anyone that dares enter the training spot I'm using. Sometimes it works quickly, sometimes I feel like I have a 2nd familiar that finishes my half kill and sometimes I have to hop because I can't win. I'm usually friendly until you lessen my kill rates...
