I agree, I was surprised when I saw it was members only... It's not gamebreaking and it provides marginal prayer xp that would otherwise not be gained. I estimated I would have had like 600k XP prayer in 17Mil slayer Xp if I had the bonecrusher since I started playing as a matter of comparison.

Looks like Jagex is encouraging F2Pers to upgrade to members... Gnome-copters did a better job at that than this does. This is just a crap fix to a crap problem. I have to agree on this one, this is a weird move by Jagex.

I think he meant the ones that he referred to a line up from that, the ones that are supposedly "smarter at suggesting than most members." As for what F2P should get, until I get enough time in on Dungeoneering to try out the magic bonus items, I have to assume Mage is (at least a little) more competitive. Thus I can't think of anything else really needed. I see and btw, you are one of those regular posters with moderate (by which I mean reasonnable) demands.

He's back though. Not at the same hardcore pace he used to be, but he's gaining some xp weekly nonetheless.

Also to put weight on the argument that members have a say in what will be released in the game, Jagex created a special sub forum dedicated to maxed out players to hear their opinions and suggestions. Edit @ Sonic You don't seem to understand what an analogy is, what qeltar meant is that not because more people use something that it makes it better. In the end, sure Jagex have the last word on everything they update, but they do it with what their player base wants and more often that not , that specific player base are members. F2Per's have a right to voice their opinion, complain and rant their heart out, but because they are not paying, their opinions hold less weight in Jagex' view, because if a free player quits, there's no money-loss for Jagex, while a member loss = money loss. You also cannot say that F2Pers never ask for extreme stuff. This thread is filled with outrageous demands from one-time F2P posters and some regular F2P posters with moderate demands (which I agree with most of them even though I seem not to sometimes).

I don't understand that style of gameplay, but if you enjoy it, grats!

3-6-9 days of bonus xp per year vs 365 days of bonus xp per year is not on the same scale. 99s are never devaluated, only the opinion of people on their "status".

Well the Old Nite was number 1 with overall total levels while Lilyuffie was number 1 in total XP, I might be wrong though, we are talking 4+ years ago. Edit: thanx Squisher, that's what I thought too.

Nah Yogosun is at 1 070Mil XP atm and never came close to Zezima's 1 200Mil XP... RS Wikia claims Gert overtook Zezima and there is no mention of King... Pretty sure N0valyfe has spent sometime at #1 in between back to back #1 spot by Zezima too.

He's called Mauves Army atm. I don't see why the highscore is limited by that magical Java limit, since it's not operating in Java... Aasiwat is officially #1 in total XP as of early today or late yesterday depending on your time zone. If memory serves me right, the last 4 were: Lilyuffie Zezima Gertjaars Aasiwat No idea if Kingduffy overtook Zez before Gert though...

Looks like Aasiwat will overtake Mauves army (gertjaars) sometimes this week, even as soon as tomorrow. Gert's reign at the top of the XP highscore will have lasted nearly 18 months. Wondering if it's gonna stay close or one of them will create a gap. Also wondering when Zarfot gonna reach 2Bil... at his current rate, looks like mid summer.

The dead ones live longer, don't they say that often? And about the topic at hand. Runescape is bound to be here for another 10 years at the very least, so don't expect it to "die" soon. Bladewing is probably just making fun of all the people claiming RS is now dead because of a weekly update... You will see claims like this almost every week.

Some of us are also sick and tired of hearing the same story all over again... I have no doubt that a very large proportion of every type of businesses work in a way to create "artificial voids" in order to fill them through "bait, hook and status quo" strategies. My question to you is this: should self-pity be praised here? What is the appropriate reply to someone whinning about what a failure he's been? (this is not a judgement call, this is what the OP seems to say while at the same time saying he's overcome his weakness) An addiction is mostly the result of weakness in a person rather than external forces directing that person through a wrong path. People need to take responsability more.

Is it so hard to read? Why is it in "game discussion" then? Putting a disclaimer in the text does not mean the OP hasn't taken responsability in his post... From what I read of his post, the OP has had major sociability problems and sometimes put the game on top of his priority at the cost of a healthy lifestyle. If he is not looking for sympathy or pity, what is he looking for?
