I don't need awesome update every month to have fun playing this game...so I don'T agree with the OP. I also have to add that the OP has a biased view when he says the expansion of the menagerie was a good update and something everyone enjoyed... It is not something everyone enjoyed.

What skills are you working on and what are those goals you're refering to?

Thanx Aurian and Atestarosa, that's what I meant by switching skills. It's especially effective for skills like construction where the first rock takes less than 5 minutes and the 2nd can take as long as 2 hours. With this method you get both rocks under 10 minutes total.

People really need to start switching skills to get rocks faster... It's been stated that it yeild rocks faster. So from now on, more switching and less whinning okay?

For all those quoting the Jagex statement saying the new skill will come out closer to the middle of the year rather than the end of the year, it only means the skill will be released before october. Anything before octobre will be closer to the middle of the year while any date after October 1st will be closer to the end of the year.

I'd do that and even consider having something like 86 herblore and using stews to make your melee and ranged extremes... I'd use that goal ( 86 herb and 92 pray) as a floor before getting higher pray then higher herblore.

The switching skills method seems to work very quickly. Meaning you train one skill, get a rock quickly, switch to another to get that first rock quickly too, then switch back to the first skill to get the second rock somewhat quickly before returning to skill # 2 and guess what... getting that 2nd rock quickly! I got smithing, fletching, firemaking and cooking under 20 minutes that way.

You are too balanced if your highscore rank with your level matter to you. You are not too balanced if you don't give a ---- about those. I regard highly balanced accounts because I can't get one, I like too much some skills compared to some others.

I don't mind the change if it helps expand the gameplay. As it is now, the only benefits are a more accurate effect of str boosting gear and lvls. I still feel that players who are against that change are being a little bit stubborn and are afraid of change. I know this is somewhat a flame-bait, but I've seen lots of posts by player claiming they will quit because "numbers are not what they used to be!", "I don't want to play WoWscape" and so on...

Liked the concept and the impact it had on the game. 200k players online means people payed membership for that week-end only, means more money for updates by Jagex. I have seen lots of people saying this could mean Jagex plans on raising the 99 cap, something I wish to see someday.

Probably because it's a benefit of being a member, just guessing here.

Between 175K to 200K players online during the week-end, expect more special week-ends in the next months. This obviously had an effect on subscription.
