What update hurt you the most?
The first update to the tzhaar market. I had 60K tokkuls and was at around 22% of an onyx.... The next day I was at 2%...

Hardest skill to level (most tedious) - Poll -
Agility and Runecrafting, leveling those via tears, circus, lamps and pengs. I will only train them properly when near a level, which means less over time. Can't wait to get that 400k rewards from WGS.

Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
They could easily make those implings in a jar untradeable.

08-Feb-10 - Musical Update & Strykewyrms
Or they could use the FM gloves and rings as alternatives. You lose the bonuses of those slots, but don't have to have anything more then an average firemaking level. Like some posters already mentionned, these items "protect" from fire...they are not made of fire. Anyway, this is a fantasy game, anything goes!

08-Feb-10 - Musical Update & Strykewyrms
I have a feeling Jagex might eventually give in to the players that do not own a fire cape. They'll probably release a "fake" fire cape, buyable from either a slayer master or at the fight cave that degrades over time and has no stats. This would give the capeless players a chance to slay Icewyrms and still give an advantage to those who own a "true" fire cape. This would ease the rantings a bit.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
I'm wondering what it means that they plan on releasing several boss monsters for F2P, but don't plan on releasing high lvl content anytime soon... does that mean they plan "mid" lvls boss monsters? I'm somewhat confused by this contradiction...

11-Feb-2010 - RuneScape Q&A - Content Team
Interesting Q&A, they made a pretty good stand against high lvl F2P content and clearly stated that members pay their wages and are more deserving of high level updates.

Dcing sucks.
Welcome to the injust world of DCing. Once lost 3rd age mage hat and amulet due to both a random (dr jekkyl) and DC lag at metals. Sure i kept my RFD gloves over that. What's worse is that I succeeded in buying them in the G.E. before they became much more expensive on the street than on the G.E. so I never could buy them back and ended up never training mage with combat...
-
Should the GE be removed?
I don't get why some people want to remove a good update... The G.E. is one of the best thing that has happen in RS, from players spending less time buying and selling to revitalising some markets (farming payments).

New Slayer Master ^^
Drop logs are always nice to see. Grats for a pretty nice achievement. Good luck with your next goals.

08-Feb-10 - Musical Update & Strykewyrms
When a Dragon crossbow is released, if a melee weapon better than Godsword and Whip is not released along with it: then i would call it a unfair. Slayer helm+diamond e bolts = very little 0s. Slayer Helm will not help much in PVP though....

Question: Least-Admirable Skill Cape
From my experience, cooking was my easiest 99. Fletching used to be a lot more "easy" when you didn't lose money fletching mage longs... yew longs are way too slow for my taste. Combining the fact that it's very easy to get XP and that so many players have maxed out both 99 cooking and 200M XP, I judge it the least admirable "cape".

Your Lowest Level?
I have 3 skills at 76, RC (tears), Agi (circus) and Construct (train it when these 2 come close to it). I don't plan on getting my bottom 2 near hunter, all other skills are getting trained every day or so. I'm planning on putting my WGS on RC...if I ever complete that quest. Edit: This was my post in september Posted 14 September 2009 - 11:25 AM Lowest at the moment is agility which i only train via the circus and tears, so 15K xp per week. Gonna get 73 agi in 4 weeks and planing on keeping training it with circus and tears, so I have to put some time on hunter, RC (penguins and lamps and nice xp though) and construction very soon. I'm getting pretty close to all skills 75+ and that will be a nice plateau. Looks like I got 4 lvls in Agility from tears and circus alone! I also reached all skills 75 which was somewhat a big thing for me.

Why Bandos?
I don't need the extra defence barrows provide and would rather have the extra str bonus and pray bonus.

getting willow branches
Once your tree is grown, check its health. From there, branches will grow quite quickly (i.e. once every farming clock tick or so) . You should have all 6 branches ready to pick after waiting around one hour. I might be off on the timing, but this gives you a good idea how to get them.

Iron Dragons O.o
double post....

Iron Dragons O.o
Looking at your stats, maging them seems the best way to go! Equip: - farseer helm - mystic robe bottom - mystic robe top - Recipe for disaster gloves or Infinity/mystic (chaos gauntlet if you have done the quest) - Infinity boots or mystic - Ring of wealth or seers rings (might want to bring ring of life though first time around) - Air or fire staff depending on runes available to you - anti-fire shield Invent: - 1 or 2 sharks (anti fire might run out - you might get meleed for a couple hits), baskets of strawberries can replace those - 8 anti fire potion (4) - 1 familiar (beast of burden) pouch to bank bones of the last kills - runes of your choice (chaos if you plan on using chaos gauntlet) - hi alching runes - slayer gem or ring Have fun, these will get easier everytime you get a level, don't give up!

What Do You Miss Most?
Sumona< gives Turoths and Basilisks. I know, but Kuradal is my new and only master from now on. My choice, my limits I guess.
-
What Do You Miss Most?
I miss getting turoths as slayer task... or Basilisks for that matter. 2 of the most underated slayer monsters out there.

Rc updates
Cheaper runes = everyone benefits. Great update even though it should have been implemented at the same time as the first one. Great thing that Jagex actually take into account what the playerbase thinks.

Jagex Financial Report 2008-09
These posts by Ren are always very interesting. What strikes me the most is the revenue from ads has stagnated a lot and it's share of turnover is slightly lower than 6%. I'll be sure to report that fact anytime an F2Per claims that they support the game as much as members.

28-Jan-2010 - RuneScape Q&A Mark Gerhard Answers
Thats a bit racist. It's common knowledge that politicians have a reputation to not be efficient, this probably has nothing to do with a certain president. Please take into context that there are over 150 countries in the world with countless politicians. The world does not revolve around one specific politician or country. I, for one, can claim that politicians in my country act a lot like mindless monkeys sometimes...

it's nice to see that they're past iddison's five year estimate and comitted to the game for a long time. didn't realise the stance had changed Iddison's 5 years plan was not the estimate time RS would be around, it was their plan that RS would be their priority for the next five years.

Tip.it Times 24 January 2010
Great article by Trocc"something" (that pi guy). It goes in hand with my vision of things, luck can be a factor in random wealth (like a party drop or a 3rd age clue reward from your first ever clue). But getting a 99 is not the result of luck. Using the money from that party drop or lucky clue to get 99 summoning or prayer does not make that 99 a lucky 99.
