Grats on slayer! This has got to be the best journey to any 99 especially with how it relates to many skills (charms for summon, seeds for farming, herbs for herblore, gems and half keys for crafting...) Good luck on your future goals! any idea on total bank worth?

Yeah this is mostly a wild guess. I wouldn't be surprised if Jagex took a loss with F2P for promotionnal purposes, it's a common practice and a benefiting one considering lots of members learned how to play in F2P. Once again I go Off-Topic... On-topic : F2Pers deserve skill capes as much as P2Pers. From a business viewpoint, I don't think Jagex will release end-game rewards for F2P though...

They do deserve to get updates, they are the ones who help pay for the member's benifits even if they dont realize it. So if there were no ads it may have taken a few more years for all of the new quests, monsters, areas, and other fun things. So... :shame: This shows how clueless some kids can be...Ads represents 7% of all revenues from Jagex. Assuming the F2P/P2P ratio is 2 to 1, every F2Per contributes 1/26th of what a P2Per contributes. What is commonly accepted, is that ads roughly covers the costs of maintenance and running the free game. By the way, this is also assuming all P2Per never view any ads (homepage and diffent sections of the RS webpage).

They are random event...of course getting an event will be random.

Just thought of something when and if the new game comes out. There will probably be a lot of players taking breaks from RS to try out the new game (duh...). What can be expected from this ?? Lots of people selling high lvls equips to invest in rares. I see a huge shift in value of some high profile items in the weeks following the release of the new game. If the game is a success, expect lots of rare to "vanish" and rise if the players taking breaks never come back. If it's a failure, expect the market to regain balance somewhat quickly.

I lost 3rd age mage amulet and 3rd age mage hat once due to connection problem at the same time as a Dr. Hyde/Jekkyl random and both fury and RFD gloves protected over it. I was mad mainly because of the place I got the random (iron and steel dragons). As for the "flawed" system, I knew what I was risking and I accept the loss. The system is fine by my standard and constructive cristicism as, you put it, is not what you are doing. You offer no solution to this and don't offer value based on the G.E. as someone's items kept on death could change every 4 hours because of G.E. updates. Player chosen items kept on death could be a solution... Don't know if the technical implementation is simple or not.

Slightly surprised at the number of 99 slayers out there, definitely less impressive than it was just a year ago. Surprised that there are not more 99 firemakers out there... I mean with so much cash entering the game, fm brawlers and insane xp rates, I expected at least 60-70K players. I expected also a lot more thiefs, goes to show that the skill is not very popular despite having one of the best xp rate out there. Not surprised to see that RC is still and will be the rarest for a long time.

I know for a fact that before all of the RWT prevention updates, he had sold a little over 17 billion gp. 33 billion gp, from a single gold seller, is not a reduction. There are hundreds and hundreds of independent gold sellers on many sites, and other large companies with work forces to sell mass amounts of gold in an extremely small amount of time. One occurence isn't a solid basis for a theory. This prooves nothing at all. I could quote someone saying that Jagex profits have tripled since the trade limits and be as credible as you, which is not much. The reason people are saying RWT has been reduced is because the main way to gather GP for RWTers was to use bots and nowadays, there are significantly less than before. You still haven't backed up your claim that there are countless ways to RWT easily these days. Start with this and I might just stop concidering that you are just another 9 years-old ranting about the trade limits.

He can only bank 21m xp in mahogany planks per day (25k per 4 hours), so it's going to take over a week just to buy them :razz: 10/10 of course, keep it up! Thanx mate, forgot about G.E. limits!

I think they really need to add some implings with rewards between nature and magpie and between ninja and dragon. The revamped XP is something that I really look forward to as I don't like hunting the proper way and usualy catch about 10 implings per farming tour.

Just a little tip... the summoning potion is not really required as there is a mini obelisk just east of the rope upstairs...

I usually have to wait a couple (4-5) hours for it to become "wild"...

What do you mean by banking mahogany planks? Buying them from the G.E. before training construction or actually cutting them yourself and making them? Awesome stats by the way!

sounds nice but... this would defintly have a great impact on boss hunting and such Probably something with the same effect as ring of life.
