I never thought I'd see the day where botting is glorified on Tip.It... Really shows that the people claiming the community was better back then are probably right! Yes I care when there are people botting and grabing the ressources I'm trying to get. I have fun when I click, not so much when I'm battling against a machine that cannot be convinced to leave for its own good, unlike a player getting beaten over and over. Jagex will have to make a decision if their game become plagued by massive botting, the playerbase will slowly fall apart and move to different games. I'm still waiting for the day they start banning permanently account and credit cards, that would be quite a deterent.

Well it's been nearly a week since I reported the macroer and sadly, he's still on the highscore with 17 more hunter lvls... If Jagex won't do a thing about macroing, can't they at least make it an official world for all botters to compete one against the other? Yeah I know, what a stupid idea, but that would be loads better than what we have now, right?

I saved about 150K so far using it slaying and hunting. That amount is bound to get bigger in time. Like someone else said, you are bound to get about 500K xp prayer casually playing over the course of your "career", that's about 10M in cash, not a game breaking item, but certainly somewhat valuable.

Nice summary Ca2theone. Other notables left out, kingduffy with most skills ranked 100 or better, ERW J with nearly 1,8Bil and Drumgun zooming in on his 7th skill at 200M.
-
Lol I hope you're just trolling nah a harsh punishment would be a very nice deterrent, it might even convince you that botting is bad!

Perm ban and credit card perm ban... Now we are talking!
-
Somehow I'm not surprised that Zarfot would not waste skills with combining xp like woodcutting and firemaking. I'm pretty sure he will level his combat skills via slayer and dungeon.

Very happy to see the monthly behind the scenes. Being a typical pro-Jagex, removing BTS was a very big mistake, it was a feature that players liked and added no cost to their operations... Can't wait to see what these updates means to the gameplay.
-
What I noticed lately is a lot of people don't mind bots because it provides them with cheap raw materials... yeah the community is really that bad. Tip.it's is going way downhill when someone ranting about bots gets flamed... I also have a feeling that a good portion of posters here use bots, there are so many in-game, it's normal to think there would be so many in here too.

Seeing the pace he'S going right now with mining, smithing and magic... It wouldn't surprise me.

26-May-2010 - RuneScape Classic Temporarily Re-opening

Your ignorance amazes me. The reason it was good was the community, which isn't there anymore. If RSC was opened back up to free players, and access was never limited to a few times a year, a lot of people would play. This was proved when Reines made RSCDaemon, the community was awesome, but Jagex shut it down. The best thing on rsc was the pking. F2p pking was so amazing. The reason that rsc will die again before the registrations open again is because the game sucks without a community and right now it's mainly just rs2 ppl checking it out for a few days then they'll quit. Back then you couldn't really make a living from soley doing combat, now that's pretty much the best way. Back when mining and fishing were actually some of the most profitable things and actually worth the time to do, not to just raise the levels.. Your ignorance is amazing too... Access is not limited to few times a year, only getting your account enabled. After those 2 weeks, everyone who has gained access can still play RSC, but most don't because RSC is at a near death state and will probably always be like this. When you mean community, do you mean the quality of people or the quantity? Seems you are ranting more about quantity than quality.... You say that "The reason that rsc will die again before the registrations open again is because the game sucks without a community and right now it's mainly just rs2 ppl checking it out for a few days then they'll quit." ... Sigh, RSC isn't "dead" and registration have already begun... The reason it will die down is that there are not enough players interested in playing a vintage game like RSC. Some people look for a community to spark interest in a game, while others will look for gameplay and not everyone likes not being able to run, not having bank notes and having to use a sleeping bag every hour or so... -
Yep, that was pretty funny. Still doesn't change the fact that we have a botting problem, regardless of how funny that post was.

It is boring to play without a community. If more people were playing then more people would play...haha. Even if both of the RSC worlds were filled, it wouldn't be enough to support the community the way it existed back when the game was thriving. There once was only 2 servers and people still view it as the golden age of the entire gaming history. I remember logging in RSC early mornings with 50-100 players on every worlds, again at a time people claim was the golden age of RS, not a wealthy community if you ask me. I still call it hypocrisy from ranters though. -
Wow, this thread is very depressing... Wish I had a banhammer at times like these...

I "played" with that bot for over 15 minutes, constantly catching a kebbit and watching it come to my bird and waiting for up to 1 minute to see if he'd ever start acting human and go after another... the to never tried to catch a kebbit when he was attracted to my bird... There is no way that was a human being controlling that character, I'd bet my cat on this and I love my cat!
-
I've been doing some falconry recently with my bonecrusher to get my weekly strange rocks and I noticed some players trying to grab my bird and acting very suspiciously. For example, my bird would catch the kebbit, another player would run to my bird and would not act until I get my loot... very bot-like. Has anyone witnessed this or reported any players? I'm proud to say I hope Jagex bans the player I reported, I even added him to keep track of him in the highscore should he ever gets deleted.

Looks like Drumgun in on a pace to be the first to achieve 7 skills at 200M in about 2 months. I wonder what's the next skill he plans to train. Jdelacroix looks on pace to be the first to achieve 9 and 10 skills at 100M Xp in about 1 ½ month. Both Zarfot and Jdelacroix should cross the 2B mark at the end of june or early july. Aasiwat will have to pick up the pace if he wants that first spot secured.

I think the "popularity" of RSC at the moment shows us that all those players claiming the good old days were better are actually a bunch of liars. Pretty much what people rant about these days is what RSC offers them right now, no trade limits, real pk loots, no GE... Go ahead, play it all you want! Stop filling our rants forums with insignificant trolling and play RSC today! Although you'll probably be alone in a month, have fun! -
Deja vu has gained like 1M xp in less than a year, I'm pretty sure he's not that active anymore...

First Champion Scroll!

Weird slayer Inventory.... but grats on the scroll and kill ! -
Aasiwat has the most Xp at the moment with 2,05Bil Xp. Gertjaars is 2nd with 2,02B Xp but has most likely quit since he hasn't gained any XP for more than 2 weeks. Zarfot and Jdelacroix are battling for 3rd position with approx 1,87Bil Xp each. There are currently no feature on the official highscore that keeps track of ranks by XP. I have no idea if there are websites out there that do. www.rsstats.net - a nice website that tracks XP gained per day with other nice features. It's maintained by Bauke, a regular Tip.it'er (or at least he used to be).

S U O M I's real test will come once he starts any of these skills : RC, Slayer and Herblore (if indeed he has a cashflow problem). Edit: lol at Bazzaminxer, don't worry about it mate.
-
Agreed miracleman. Does anyone know how Suomi got 2M Xp in a day mining? I know it involves superheating because he got roughly 2M xp in both magic and smithing on the same day... Gold superheating with gauntlets and constant dropping? or banking? This seems way more than what I could imagine...
-
RC is basically a done deal with Phoenix Odin doing dungeon these days, Slayer is about a year off unless Toony stops like skateenjoi did last year, Summoning is pretty far at this point but the skill is relatively new and it will be impacted if another bonus XP week end gets implemented the same way it was done and Dungeoneering has not been impacted yet by batch 2 and higher prestige... Mintella is indeed not a contender for maxing out all skills at 200M.
