id personally prefer it as big as possible, 450x175 pixels and to leave out the black background just crop it out. (that means cut it out and erase it) maybe a fancier font and a more interesting background... theres not much else to criticise

hey thats not ur first pixel ive seen more from you... on topic i think the pear is too small. make it easily the most important thing in the pic (like ur apple) and good quality pears are more green than brown. also u give too much importance to the background, just make its simple so it doesnt distract from the main pic and for the leaf use maybe a less saturated green. also you used "pillow shadig" (light on the middle and dark in the edges) which is not the best shading, so put a light source on the sides, and locate the shades accordingly
