I'm not voting for now. Tbh yes its good to have nostolgia over a game but mmos change. The nostolgia over games are usually memories had while playing that game though there are some truly good games out there that stand the test of time. 2007 rs stood the test of time it turned into 2008 rs(summoning!!) 2009 rs(kuradel and various slayer updates including herblore pots and extremes) 2010 rs (dungeoneering halla) 2011 rs(effigiescape totally), 2012 rs(its ok, they did have to introduce microtransactions and eoc but stuff happens), 2013 rs(looking forward to the two new skills to get 99 in otherwise not much time to play) I grew up alot during that period irl so yea my opinions towards the game changed. The people/attitude people had in 2007 won't come back, 16 year old me won't come back. Honestly no ge was a pain in the ass lol. It might be fun for some competitions starting fresh but other than that not really. The classic servers aren't really massively popular because you know what the game got better. I think the downwardness in players doesnt neccessarily have to do with the game but many people growing older and leaving the game versus people that are growing up and leaving the game. From a new player perspective RS isn't the best choice for an mmo. The game is improving but not at a fast enough pace. However it does have the audience that played for years and are still playing. Anyway yea there are much more games to be nostalgic about besides old rs.

well maybe they could do that for future quest too. I mean disregard the fact that leveling up is piss easy anyway They can make quest with good rewards that require a high stat but not make a quest cape require high stats ect.

I maxed mid 2010 but yea I feel like completionist really did it. But yea early top 100-200 maxes have a different vibe.

Yea and then skill capes came out and people went ocd about getting at least 1 99 then people realized they liked the self validation from having a 99 and then they said hmm ill go for some harder 99s and then they either 1.) noticed they were kinda close to max and then maxed or 2.) maxed cape came out and they wanted that cape (Its been out quite awhile) Then when people finally maxed they either 1.) grew some logic and quit 2.) didn't care and still played. 3.) went on a 200m gaining highscore rank rampage.

I saw that a few years ago when i was nolifing runescape (i mean the welcome to the nhk anime) Its a powerful anime also it proves games were like the least of his problems anyway.
