  1. i'd have to say cooking/fletching as well...my cooking is my highest but i didn't even work on it that long. other skills like woodcutting are common but you can't buy them thier just popular. people should destinguish common from least admirable. i see a ton of strenth capes as well. i think people have gotten a bunch of 99s in skills that they hate just because of the cape.
  2. goodluck 99 agility is a long term goal of mine too =) its a long road.
  3. goodluck wakka on 99 slayer! your wcing level hasn't changed for a year??? LOL! i can't stand hunter either but getting it to 80 to match your other skills was a good idea. :P
  4. 260k+ nats is a huge achievement and doing them straight too. you did a good job and its not worth getting bored over when a game is meant for fun. goodluck with your next goal and have fun with your shopping spree.
  5. probably investigative artist social lol. i like to plan what i'm going to do in rs but alot of times get bored and change plans. and i like to use rs as a messaging center even though i enjoy skilling and is boredom proof to a point so sort of conventional lol.
  6. update your sig pl0x. it still says 7/23 99 skillz. GRATZ ON AGILITY 99 WAKKA and have fun with hunter skill 99!  :D
  7. good luck. and why is it that respect for a 99 lessens when more people go for it.. i'm going for 99 wc and 99 fm too. its your levels that you worked for so why should it matter if a ton of people have it but it accually isn't alot when you think about it that the top 10% is 100k so even if 50k people have that 99 thier still better then 9.5/10 people in that skill. i respect all 99s. and remember most people going for 99s fail but you don't here about them as much as the people that achieve them. think about how many go for 99 cooking. 99 firemaking and woodcutting don't hate on them just because its common i get the deal with 99 cooking/fletching though but thats not the point. GOODLUCK ON YOUR GOAL YOUR GONNA MAKE IT!!!>
  8. awesome!!!! and the time you did it in is even more amazing awesome agility level and goodluck on 99 and all futer 99s.
  9. OREO OREO!!! just one more level! :D
  10. we have simular goals. goodluck i know you can do it!!! :D
  11. 88 cooking ---well i fished alot and um i liked this skill 84 woodcutting---used it to make money always done since level 36 combat.. 81 fishing and str-- i like to get food then use it to kill stuff 77 hp--well trained combat.. 74 fletching--rushed to 70 other levels came from yew longs making to alc with.
  12. i don't think combat level should have a relation to total. just think that...the way we see is only 8 skillz but thier is 23 skills in the game. this idea would also help jagex in 2 ways 1 it would get more members as total level is the status point... 2 it would get more members to stay with the game longer think about it...most people max out combat at 1800-2000 totals but that would only be level 180-200 when the max level would be 228 rounded up at 5..people would have a motivation to train besides the scores.
  13. ingame we see others by combat level. Combat level is based off of 7 stats prayer, attack, str, def, mage, range. Other then those stats someone could appear 126 and pretty much have all stats at level 1 if they wanted. but thats the person that would get most of the respect till someone looks them up in the highscores. Skillers however get 1500 total before 90 combat or 1600+ before 95 just look like the normal player. as a level 92 a yellow level 92 may have a total or 1200 or they may have a total of 1700 but thiers noway to know and unless i highscore check them they look the same. but when you look at the highscores were ranked by total level not how much expieriance we have in combat related skills. what if jagex put and this is sorta someone elses idea totallevel/10 displayed instead of combat level in nonplayerversusplayer areas. would this be a good idea? would the people that play to get respect accually train other skills? debate away
  14. monkey madness fremlick trails and fremlick isles..cause i did fremlick trails fresh out of members and fremlick isles right when it came out and monkey madness was fun
  15. yah but you can steriotype thier ingame knowledge.. i've noticed that high total low combat (under 100) quest cape...tend to be less judgemental i own j00 type of people.
  16. exactly so many people that never tried farmining think that it is a hard hard skill. its plant log out dohw/watchtv/something else in rs. log in if they die they die oops. lol.
  17. i think those that have an insanely low total for thier combat example 100 combat with overall total not ranked are more braggy/pest control then those that have a high total 1600+ are more likely to be nicer/more knowledgeable bout the game. but really you can't judge a persons personality by thier skills. but to me mining/fishing/woodcutting are the ones that are more patient less arrogant.
  18. i think it depends what skill i'm going for. if i'm going for fletching or magice then i might buy yews but usually i chop them myself. i usually mine my own ess as at 50 rc i don't need many to get to the next level. but if i wanted to train only rcing then i'll definatly buy the ess. it all depends on what i'm trying to do whether i buy or gather. but i always buy flax cause thats a waste of time its just not worth it.... as you get a higher level you learn when money should be spent and when money doesn't need to be spent. killing cows for cowhides is not very good exp so pretty much should be bought. but yews are pretty decent exp and are so costly nowdays that buying them is not that good i tried buying them once but then was like "this is waste of money". as you get a higher leveled player then you relize which method will get you the most money/exp in the least amount of time and you become more efficient.
  19. congratz! i was happy at that level as well. you can get to the guild at 59 if you want too :)
  20. eh i've been playing less then a year..but your ok for that amount of time. 2months for 70-77...that took me 3 days  goodluck .
  21. good article to read at school. i sometimes work to get all my skills to a minimum level...i chose 40 this time =p and i don't like to trail cooking too much above fishing and i would never buy firemaking/fletching until 99 woodcutting. uhuh goodluck with balance =)
  22. attack and str are factored in combat so i'm not that suprised. fletching and cooking 99s greatly increased with the skill capes released. also..it is interesting the ones that have less then 1k players will 99s. and remember this too when you get discouraged going for a 99 because a bunch of people have it, 20000/1mil = top 2% which means that you'll be better then 98% of players in fletching/cooking/attack/str. any 99 is impressive. the pure combat players are really the reason for these numbers. also since the capes more people went for fishing/cooking cause thier was a ton of people with strenth and attack before the capes.
  23. thats the thing.. i would say a 120+ is a high level and i'm level 91 is a mid level. but a level 40 might say i'm a high combat player..noone can define what a high level player is. and i'd say 30 is not high but alot of people just don't train runecrafting but tons of people train combat. so..i'd say that the person with 70 runecrafting is more impressive then a person with level 80 attack the ranking makes it more high level. and i'd say look at the person ranked 250000 is a high level as a 25% is above avarage bt not overly high.
  24. i agree cause when i browse around tipit i'm avarage or below avarage in skills for a level 91..but when i look up other 91s ingame i'm pretty good in skills.. when i look around me in a bank i see a bunch of red/orange/yellow/green so = not high level. and with pest control people can get a high combat without doing nothing like this level 103 that is not even ranked in overall. and it really depends where you hang out as to what ranks people will have in x skill. such as if i'm in rouges den i think that people will be mostly ahead of me in cooking. but if i'm woodcutting at yews then a bunch will be below me. i'm pretty sure that they do use the highscores. they don't want to make an update that only 5% of people can do. and since most of rs is pretty combat focused it explains why the combat requirements are higher then the skills but i think that they target midlevels anyway.
