  1. QFT. I hear you can offer cookies to make them like you more, though. In all seriousness, it's not worth the time to go out of your way to find one. Train DG as your normally would, except perhaps pay more attention to the Slayer levels of your teammates. Also, I believe it is either impossible or much more rare to get slayer drops via boosting, but not entirely sure about this.
  2. Sony Vaio PCG-5A1C, currently running Windows XP Service Pack 3. Did your first recommendation, here's the result.
  3. Thanks for the replies! My model is not on the manufacturer website. However, that being said, it is a rather old laptop so I wouldn't be surprised if the manufacturer (Sony) no longer supported it. How do I use this? When I download and run it, every field just turns up blank.
  4. So I need to install a video driver for my laptop, but I'm not sure where to get the driver download from. I looked into it using Aida and all I came up with was "ATI Radeon Mobility", which is hardly helpful since there are so many drivers until that category. Is there any way I can pinpoint the one I need, or is there another way I can solve this problem without buying driver updating software?
  5. Light Metal is completely worthless. And not only on Scizor either.
  6. So I recently reinstalled Windows XP on my laptop. It's rather old but still kicking, and everything is going fine now, except for one thing. There's absolutely no audio to speak of, which I think is strange for a laptop. It is a Windows XP operating system (Service pack 3), not sure what other information to give about it, but I will if asked for it. Under Device Manager, all the sound drivers are there and are "apparently" working fine, according the the Device Manager. In services.msc, Windows Audio is started and working smoothly. However there's no little speaking icon in the bottom-right, and when you go to Audio in the Control Panel, it says there's no devices installed. All of which I think is rather strange given that I just reinstalled Windows XP on a Laptop. If it's important, before I reinstalled XP, I also had this problem from time to time. However, it was slightly different. There WAS a speaker icon, there was just no sound. I solved it by realized that Windows Audio in services.msc decided to suicide and end, so I just restarted it and everything worked fine again. Maybe this is important, but idk, might as well just confess. Thanks in advance for any help!
  7. Unless you are 99 construction, the xp is still worth something, so don't throw it away just because you don't want it right now.
  8. You called? Really looking forward to the Citadels, though. Imo, it'll make the month more than anything else.
  9. It probably shouldn't be done unless you are doing Warped floors, as that's the only real theme where non-Hex bows are really needed. That being said, if you find a Rapier as a drop on Warped floors, you should probably discard the bow and just use the Rapier. That brings up another question I have, though, which tier rapiers/spears are worth using over standard weapons on stab-weak monsters? I usually only take Prom.
  10. Shouldn't you switch to melee instead? I think they're both weak to stab (and ranged) and very resistent to all other attack styles, so ranging would be better than slash/crush. Out of curiosity, to what degree should non-hex DPS'ers do this? It's a common practice for non-CSB DPS'ers to loot maging runes for mageables, but should they also loot prom arrows/grave bows for range-weak monsters?
  11. I always say it is. The chance that 1HP saves you may be small, but it isn't zero unless you don't have it to begin with.
  12. Aren't all your pokemon set to the same level on wifi battles anyway?
  13. Ok fine, I dunno. But that being said, maybe it's not a problem with your computer? Maybe it's a problem with the software (of the game). Try looking for a forum dedicated to the game you're having trouble with and asking there.
  14. Trampling is when you step on the same square as an NPC or player (or run directly through it). This "flips" the NPC/player and lets NPCs walk through that square unhindered. If an NPC/player is "untrampled", you can effectively hide on the north/south side of that square and trap a melee NPC on the opposite side. This ensures that the NPC never attacks you. It's a very useful trick when you are under attack by melee and range/magic since you can use your teammates/rangers/magers as untrampled obstacles, preventing the meleers from becoming a threat. Very useful on Necromancers and Reborn Mages especially (in fact, if you don't trample any of the warriors, you can position them so a horde of warriors are essentially useless in combat). Also very useful in the Necrolord and Skeletal Trio bosses, since in both cases you prevent taking any melee damage (exception of the one person who must be the blocker in Necrolord). If an NPC/player is trampled, you can untrample by simply moving to another square.
  15. I was gonna inb4ponies But it seems I was too slow...
