  1. Cowmaster, that's because I recommend farming your cactus with your herbs. Stonewall, that's true, but for the only case that really matters (other than periodic exceptions), yews are way to expensive to pay for anyway.
  2. The GE is now too intertwined with daily Runescape playing that to remove it would be a greater crime than any of the negatives it may have caused.
  3. Range and mage can already do this, with or without a cannon. All you need to do is stay in a safespot (like when using a cannon), hit one monster, then hit another, then another, etc. until you want to hit the first again. Time it right and you hog 3-4 monsters to yourself in a single-combat zone.
  4. Not true, I profit on my Ab spec tasks and I can't say I pick up every herb dropped. You could do this and you would consistently profit, but the range xp wouldn't be very amazing. Better would be to do boss monsters/etc. for money, then buy chins and use them for range xp.
  5. Yes. You might be confusing it with the Black Mask. Void and Salve ammy DO stack.
  6. Mm, I'm unsure of his results. First, he's very vague and I had a bit of trouble understanding what he was stating. Second, he uses the unit "days", not "hours", which is a much better unit. "Days" isn't a reliable unit of measure since it varies too greatly. Thirdly, you can greatly decrease the time needed to charge the horn if you find a good BA clan or organize games with trustworthy friends.
  7. TDs would be your best option, imo. They have the best average profit, but is also the hardest of those on the list. (However, you can argue that it's safer than bandos since you are nearly guaranteed your items back if you die--its that easy to get back.)
  8. Yes, but in Fast MA a game lasts no longer than 4-5 minutes, and you get about 7k reward creds if you bet 10k investment if you do everything right (which isn't hard). You will also WIN (as opposed to lose) about 1/4 of the time if you are blue (that's the way they organized the system). In addition, for Fast MA you want to use light units, as a) they make the game progress quicker, and B) if you use heavies they suspect you as a crasher and ban you.
  9. There are also a few possible references to the band Dream Theater and a few of their songs, ex. Dream Theatre (song)- British spelling of the band's name Dogs of War (song) - DT's song, Prophets of War The Root of all Evil (song) - DT's song, the Root of all Evil Although the names of the RS songs would make sense even if they weren't allusions, due to their context.
  10. The difference is negligible.
  11. Can't improve much, except maybe Prossy/Bandos > Dh
  12. What do you mean? Heavy Rod vs. Fly Fishing, or Catching fish barehand vs. Catching fish with a harpoon?
  13. 12pts/hr is the max of anything, by the way. The best idea is to do Fast MA, look them up on the forums. The great thing about Fast MA is that you also get a respectable amount of reward credits if you bet investment credits in your game.
  14. Tons of those. Four I instantly recall are: 1) Use a herring on a tree: "not the mightest tree in the forest" 2) Use a herring on the Grand Tree: "I can't do that!" 3) Upstairs on a tower in Neitiznot: insult scene 4) Lumberjack examine
  15. All my 99s are pretty much equal, that is Strength, Attack, Hitpoints, Farming, and Cooking. All of them have around 13-14m xp, that it wouldn't be fair to call one of them my highest level just because it has 100k more xp than another.
  16. Blurite Sword <3 Until I accidentally threw it out, that is.
  17. This is always my favourite one whenever they add new knights. Like Ceramic Vase (Sir Amik Vas) Surviving (Sir Vyvin) Certification (Sir Tiffy Cashen) I forget the others but theres a gd 15 or so of them in-game and all are puns Sir Prysin - Surprising. Sir Gerry (the guy at the GWD entrance) - Surgery. Sir Enitee - Serenity. Semi Unrelated: I remember playing Dragonfable to try it out, and there was a village of Knights with names like it. Fairy Nuff as well. But I think this is turning into one of those allusion threads.
  18. Yet rapid loss of money from the system isn't healthy either.

http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators#Smithing Look at the mithril/adamant sections, pick whichever is lowest gp/xp for the most economically efficient. That doesn't, however, correlate with overall most efficient. That requires greater calculating.
  20. I'd really recommend salamanders, or you can use the surround method on chins.
  21. It's proven that using a ranged pot and ranged prayers WILL increase your cannon efficiency, but using range-boosting gear will NOT.
  22. Barrows is much, much better. The only armor that can compete with it at a high level (for melee) is bandos.
  23. The much better option is to just use super energies. It's worth it.
  24. The prices fluctuate too greatly, you would have to check yourself. For plankmake, the best is mahogany planks. For superheat, the best xp means superheat iron.
