  1. Great, thanks! I'll add um in when I have the chance.
  2. Thanks! Have you gotten a battlestaff drop from them?
  3. Then try this one: http://forum.tip.it/topic/222890-melee-ranging-and-a-slight-diversion/
  4. Wait, so are you asking whether you CAN use elite black or whether elite black is WORTH using?
  5. Look into Bedman's guide. Should tell you everything you need. It's in the AoW. You're look at ~30k chins, btw, if I remember correct.
  6. You can exploit the fact that the Mother does not change combat styles until a little after you pray against her style. So if you wear Ahrims and max about magic defense, you can pray switch until she uses mage then turn off prayer altogether (unless you wanna use stat boosters). You can then tank her very weak and very inaccurate hits. Over the course of the fight, I used 2 monks and 10 healing aura scrolls. However, I used Karils so half the time I had armor unequipped.
  7. Imo, neither of them are worth it. The mace is far outclassed by the DDS for special attack power, and the DDS is cheaper and can poison. The DBA is also outclassed, since the extra power the DDS's special gives overrides the DBA's boost once you consider that you can drink a super strength potion and not need to worry about any negative effects. Sure it saves money, but it's not enough to compensate loss of a dds special, or loss of healing via EE or SGS.
  8. Actually taken from Zarfot's guide, so if you need to know the method for any of those tasks (again pre-Kuradal), look to his guide.
  9. But those are pre-Kuradal
  10. Sawmill is actually faster, just more click-intensive (but not by much).
  11. Actually, the Queen only switches combat styles when you pray. For me, she started with melee, I prayed melee since I was in full Karils. She switched to mage. I turned off all prayer since I thought the damage would be minimal. She stayed with mage the rest of the battle. So switch until she is using the style your armor best resists, then switch off protection prayers. This saves prayer and in the long run prevents more damage, assuming your defenses are high enough.
  12. Not that it matters at all technically, but you should mention the unofficial worlds. I know Ape Atoll has one, ns on the others. I know many people enjoy training agility with many others, so it's worth mentioning imo.
  13. 7 including the 4 "east of the bank", or is it 7 by the jail AND 4 east of the bank (11 total)?
  14. Since the bones are worth so damn much, bring a BoB if you are keeping the bones. If not, then take a BoB of food with a bunyip pouch as well, summoning the bunyip when the BoB is out of food.
  15. This is in the firemaking guide, right?
  16. If you're referring to runecrafting, runecrafting is faster than slayer, a consistent 55k/hour at 99, maybe 50k/hour at 90. Yeah ok true. (Although I figure it's slightly less, but w/e). That doesn't make Slayer the slowest skill. Fishing monks is actually slower, summoning is much slower if you count the charm gathering time. Slayer is a very diverse skill. If you block the slowest tasks and cancel intelligently, AND use the best methods for each task (not going overboard, however, with stuff such as spirit shields, etc.) you should get a minimum of ~30k slayer xp/hr and a maximum of roughly 70-80k if you can get consistent high-end tasks. Well I'm not sure how fast serious slayers can get exp, but barbarian heavy rod is sure to beat it. I think someone worked out that summoning is about 50k/hour if you burst/barrage all your charms. With slayer, you also have to consider the time spent traveling, getting new tasks, banking drops, withdrawing potions/cannon/etc, changing gear, etc. It includes banking time and task-receiving time. Note that both of these actions, as well as getting to the location, all should take less than 5 minutes. It does NOT consider using the Lunar spell NPC contact, or the Ferocious Ring to Kuradal.

  18. Slayer is not the slowest skill.
  19. The dungeon with the Dagannoth Guardians was not multicombat during the quest.
  20. Get a friend to use Telegroup Ice Plateau, or cast the Lunar spell yourself (Ghorrok tele on Ancients also works...but it's a higher mage level so why bother?)
  21. Cool, thanks!
  22. I guess people are too familiar with the idea that a super effective and a not very effective hit cancel each other out. Unfortunately, this doesn't apply to immunities. So those people are most likely careless.
  23. So for the next tournament, who is interested in the modifyed round robin I posted before? Swiss could work as well.
  24. They re-allowed that? will do, then.
