I see. Thanks for your answer.

Macroers getting rebanned
Alright, I'll trust you on the subject :P But I was wondering what happens if you make legal obligations. Theoretically speaking you could try and prevent the contract from getting revoked by means of law, right? Naturally, nobody will ever do that, but I suppose you have the possibility as a paying customer. Am I right?

Macroers getting rebanned
You could be right about the contract thingy. Though I wonder what would happen if you make legal obligations against the breaching of the contract. You have more rights when you're a paying customer. Oh and it's just all theoretical, mind you. Just interested.

Macroers getting rebanned
That's not relevant here. Botting in an online game isn't illegal, it merely violates Jagex' ingame policy. Jagex is no law enforcer. And since they own the accounts, they can pretty much do what they want. They can ban you a gazillion times if that makes them happy. The only thing is that people pay for the game, in order to receive certain content. When that content is removed from the player (due to a ban for violating the rules), then you're not getting what you've payed for. And THAT might be against the rules. I don't know what the legislation is regarding this subject, but I know from something else I'm involved with that when we banned someone that had payed for our services, we could still ban them, but legally, we couldn't revoke access to the content that they'd payed for. Either that or giving money back. Therefore, I wonder how Jagex can legally ban accounts with membership credit on it, and not give back any money. I'm sure they state it somewhere in their terms and agreements, but their policy doesn't stand above the law. It's not that I care that much, I won't get banned, but I was just wondering about the facts on this subject. Banning people and making them waste $5 is not stealing, not against the law, not a crim, etc. See, when we decide to become members of Runescape by paying for membership we agree on a contract. That contract stipulates that if we are to break any rules we will break the contract and therefore lose the account. By breaking a rule we are actually more at fault that Jagex. If anyone is commiting a crime it is the rulebreaker, not Jagex. Breach of contract anyone? Yes, it's a breach of the terms and conditions which you have agreed with. Though, when you have someone pay for a certain service, you can't just revoke that service just because they didn't obey your rules. Jagex' policy isn't a part of the law, so... I'm not talking about who's at fault, I'm talking about the legislation regarding this subject. I'm talking about whether it's legally possible to exclude paying customers from what they've payed for when they've breached the rules of the game. Aren't they entitled to a restitution? Again, I'm just wondering about what the legislation is on this subject.

Jagex MMG interview part 2 of 3, talking RuneScape
That struck me as odd as well, maybe she gave consent? Yes, probably. But still, it's quite odd. And they'd have to ask her for her age and her gender, because you can't extract those two parameters from a database. Odd thing to include.

Jagex MMG interview part 2 of 3, talking RuneScape
Ok, I find this very weird. A Jagex CEO giving out personal information about a player. Age, nationality and hours played. Isn't that totally against their policy? I mean, I don't mind, but it's contradictory. Interesting read though.

27th May - Dungeon maps and spam filter
Funny how I was just thinking that the hp bars could use an update. I love it. Although I still have to get used to it a bit. Map updates are functional too. Improved graphics and improved functionality this week, this is how I like it

Jagex reintroducing RuneScape Classic
But given the possibility, and the fact that other people would play with cheats, it'd pretty much make your accomplishments worthless. At least for me it'd be no fun if there were cheats available. @adx: there might be an opening for more support and a more serious take on RSC by Jagex if RSC proves to be very popular. Then it might just be worth it to assign an extra team of employees to RSC (for Jagex). But I can't see it happening, since RSC died out, and the reintroduction will probably be accompanied with cheats. I just can't see it starting up again. But who knows how this idea might evolve.

Waterfiends
I'd take barrow gloves if you have them. In your inventory you should have a super set, prayer pots, bunyip pouch (perhaps more than one) and maybe a bit of extra food since a bunyip probably won't heal enough. At least that's how I used to fight them.
-
Waterfiends
Crush weapon, ranged prayer, mage defense. A setup can probably be found in a guide somewhere.. but it's like karils, zamorakian spear/SS which is the most popular.

Slayer- row or archer ring?
ROW increases the chance on a rare drop. Since the ROW increases the drop by a certain percentage, it only increases the chance on a rare drop by a very small amount. A combat ring speeds up kills, thus increases the chance on a high drop in a given amount of time, due to speeding up kills. So, both rings increase your chance on a rare drop in their own way, but the combat ring gives extra experience in a given time. Therefore I'd go with the archer ring.

Jagex Twitter Update: Jagex CEO interview Part 1 of 3
Nice read. The other two parts should prove to be interesting too.

Jagex reintroducing RuneScape Classic
Yes, lots of people still play old games, but much, much more people play the new games. Therefore, if you put RS2 against RSC, I guess that RS2 will still be the more appealing game. Opening RSC will certainly induce an influx in players due to the fact that there are always people that like the older games. But when the game is reopened with cheat codes... who will still play "for real"? Oh and Dink Smallwood is a great game. I remember playing that game ages ago :D

Anyone can be a Rune Miner in 7 Days :)
That's sick.

Jagex Twitter Update
Dungeon update sounds plausible. I do like the way they tease us before an update, lol.

We can't play 'for fun'?
So you play because you're a masochist? Definition of Masochist. You get sexual gratification from RuneScape you sick [bleep]? 1. That's not the full definition of a masochist: Selectively quoting :wall: 2. I wasn't talking about myself, but I was asking a question to someone that posted a rather bold statement. In short: learn to read.

We can't play 'for fun'?
I think the question implies that the activities you choose, are the ones you have fun in doing.

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
Uhm, that's pretty much your own fault. You can easily make a million a day with barely any effort or skill required. So no, it won't crash.

DDR cost more than DDR2? Am i missing something?
Hardly anyone uses DDR anymore, since DDR2 or even DDR3 is used in new systems. Therefore it's not viable to make large quantities of them, thus increasing the price for the leftover bit that is still around on the market.

Mechscape=delayed longer
That has nothing to do with delaying Mechscape. They just explained that the update that had been postponed wasn't Mechscape.

a sad, sad picture
And why is knowing how old drop parties are so important?
