Bleh, I want numbers. How many exactly? Too many Jagex doesn't mention it.

Heh, simple answer. My mage lvl was too low to high alch. Runes (and arrows) were all too expensive. I pretty much maged from what I got from the wizards around delrith. Not that much. I only managed to reach around lvl 80 before RS2 came in. Mostly with fail skills. Only mining was fairly high (I was one of the few of my friends who could mine adamantite) Think I was an adventurer. Doesn't really matter since I died shortly after at the scorpions, lol. Later I turned myself into a miner. Having the constant need for money and mining being a good source of money back in the days, mining was by far my highest skill. Never got one either. I think I took a break when randoms were introduced.

Weird sense of self-achievement. Runescape doesn't really have an easy mode. I'm sure all those lvl 3 skillers don't have maxed out accounts. (In fact I'm guessing they have failure mains which they got bored of) Crippling yourself and doing something which isn't very exciting for normal players just isn't quite something we all have to be amazed about.

In other words, it's: crippling yourself, then doing something a lot of other people do in a normal way, and then calling it an achievement.

Well, a lot of people were banned. I gained a lot of ranks in a few skills in which I gained 0xp. I even gained 2 overall ranks, so that means 2 people with an overall rank higher than 390 got banned. Ouch, lol.

I started around april 2001. Barely anyone high levelled in that time. I remember my friend being good (or so I though) because he could kill 2 Varrock guards in a row. Later he got me killed by the scorpions in Al Kharid. Back then, you had to fight 3 rounds before you could run, so I got killed and lost all my stuff (a few bronze items). Another time someone gave me a coal ore, and told me I should sell it for a massive 100gp (the coal price in that time). I refused to believe him because in my opinion that was just too much. I also remember the days when banks were introduced, when the wilderness was introduced. I used to lure noobs to a giant somewhere in the wilderness, which got them killed. I had some fun with my friends back then. Oh, and I remember spamming the F word all around Runescape. There was no filter back then. People told me you could get banned if Jagex saw you swearing, so I immediately stopped doing it. (I was 13 back in the days)

Report them for the misuse of customer support and kill them. You can't report for that anymore.

I doubt the browser is the problem. I think it's more likely it's the Java client in the browser. Allthough reinstalling Java didn't work... I still think the problem lies there.

I don't get why people want to create a skiller. Why purposely create an account where you don't train the combat skills? Imo, a true skiller also trains his combat. If you stay at level 3, well, you basically cripple yourself. Sure, not all skillers are lvl 3, but I just don't understand the general concept.

Why not? Some people just want something else after a while, or they get a good offer. Now, I don't know anything about why he resigned, but stating on beforehand that it isn't good isn't right.

There are a set ammount of tasks you can get. There's a certain distribution of tasks (of which it is probably too hard to determine). So, record 250 tasks, record the time spend, record the xp you get, and voila, you have a statistical proper way to record the average. With a large N, a mean value becomes more statistical significant.

It eats a lot of your graphic card aswell. It's one of the first things you'd turn off if you get hick-ups.

It's not illegal if you stay on the computer and like, watch the screen or whatever. It is illegal if you go do something else. Fact is, Jagex can't distinguish between the two. So you won't be in trouble. I wouldn't advice afk'ing though. Just go watch Youtube vids or whatever.

No, the whole point of slayer is that you kill the monsters that are your task.

I'd say do a stats reset. All stats back to level 1. Just like what happened in the old days if you were macroing.

3 months ago somebody abused a fruit tree patch bug in which check health stayed there and didnt change so they got a few mill xp and got 99 farming that day, he wasnt banned so why would they ban these people. Because it's bug abuse. Just because one person didn't get caught doesn't mean it's allowed all of a sudden. Especially with a bug that caused quite the bit of impact on the game. Well I don't know, but it isn't relevant either. Point still stands. It's still more than enough to get banned.

I presume Jagex can track the people that have abused the bug and will ban them? I mean.. seriously.. you can't just let people be that have gotten several instant 99's.

Well, they did fix it quite fast.

Mining at the dark beasts will frequently give you ores. 100k an hour = crap. Dragon imps are hard to find. Not really competitive there. Though if you catch chins, it's a good money maker.

I think mining makes you the most money if you like hopping worlds for ore. Mining at the dark beasts rune rock will probably give you a few million gp a day. Imo slayer is more fun, but camping abyssals isn't.
