  1. seems like a waste of REAL money though if you decide to go p2p at too low a level. It is not. You profit from P2P at every level. You have a lot more options to train skills, even when they're low. The overall effect of P2P might be a bit lower when being low level, but still, P2P is always an improvement over F2P, so if you like the game, it's worth the money at any time.
  2. You cant seem to make ONE positive post. It's like all those Maxed levels have gone to your head. :| I'm just being honest. This is no achievement, since everyone can easily get a score like this.
  3. 1/10 for the achievement, and the fail award for not being able to upload a picture properly.
  4. Because you don't have it.

Overheating has absolutely nothing to do with lag. Actually it does. If your machine runs hotter than it normally should, then you'll get slower response times. Too much heat in any part of your machine (CPU, RAM, etc) will cause slowdowns, or will cause the computer to shut off completely. This is the only reason that I never game on laptops; their form factor makes them highly susceptible to heat, regardless of the type of laptop it is. That's not lag. Those are hickups. Your network card won't ever overheat so there's no slow downs that are associated with a bad connection, thus no lag. Also, it's highly unlikely overheating will show symptoms that resemble lag. You will more likely get errors, graphical glitches or just a general crash.
  6. I don't know, but those people totally disgust me. I can't travel anywhere without someone crawling up my [wagon]. I'm not even responding anymore. Usually those people have the IQ of a peanut. Honestly, get a life.
  7. It's a typical human thing, ye.
  8. If you don't like it, don't click on it. Anyways, I think "killing" is too heavy of a statement. The article states she dropped the baby on the ground, which was the cause of death. I doubt killing was her intention. Nevertheless, it's a very serious case and she should be severely punished. Though, I think it's right to modify the term "killing" with a bit more nuance.
  9. Rares will remain rare. People have a taste for rare items. Therefore I think there will always be demand for them. Also, supply will naturally remain limited. Allthough I do not know the causes of this sudden collapse, I am confident that rares will maintain a high price, and will, once they hit rock bottom, start to rise again. Question remains if they'll ever reach their old prices again. It surely is interesting to see what will happen to them. I still think rares are a good investment, allthough I doubt now is a good time to buy them. I'll be keeping an eye on them..
  10. How does that solve the fact that people can't play the video file?
  11. Please don't just assume things without even proper reading yourself. With hiding, the same problem occurs. People will want to play the video, notice it's in HD, it plays with hick-ups.. results in the video not being watched. So, again, no HD please.
  12. Point is, a lot of computers will have trouble running HD. It simply requires a lot of cpu speed. Next to that, it's unnecessary. Video's are watched on the forum in a small embedded player. HD implies a high resolution. You don't need a high resolution on a forum. It's just too many pixels you want to fit in a small area. And at what benefits? Video with hickups for most people... The normal / high quality is enough for forum use. A higher resolution (being HD) is simply too much. A 16:9 aspect ratio is something else. It implies the way the video's are portraited. Nobody wants stretched video's, so changing the aspect ratio is worth the while. I don't know about the possibilities, but if it's possible I'd say keep the same quality, but change the aspect ratio to 16:9 where needed.
  13. Imo it's the RS2 engine. It gave birth to all the features (skills, minigames, quests, HD, etc) we have today. The RSC engine was quite limited but Jagex created unlimited possibilities with the development of this particular engine. And they still use it today. Their greatest achievement. Runescape would be in the slumps without it (no RSC wouldn't be cool with today's standards).
  14. I think it's pathetic. And scary at the same time. I've never understood the whole socializing thing ingame. If I want to party, I do so irl, instead of pixel partying. I'd like Runescape to stay a game, instead of a lifestyle. Funny thing is that when you tell people you kinda play and skill alone, they presume you are a nolifer.
  15. HD material in a little embedded Youtube player is highly overkill and only takes up a lot extra cpu cycles. Imo, if you want to watch HD, go to the Youtube site. Changing the aspect ratio to 16:9 is a good idea, to preserve quality (stretched video's are ugly) but going to HD with such a small embedded player, on a forum, please no.
  16. 9/10 on the scale of fail. 1/10 for the achievement.
  17. I think Jagex wants to get rid of the image that Runescape is a kids game. I visit forums where the average age is between 20 and 30, and Runescape is not popular at all there. While the WoW topics are booming. I think Jagex sees a lot of potential there. And I get the feeling that's true.

Don't worry, you sound like one. So that's a match.

Overheating has absolutely nothing to do with lag. Download and upload speed rarely has anything to do with lag. A lag [bleep]e gets caused by a short connection loss, or a sudden increase in the time that servers need to get in "touch" with eachother or packets that have been lost in the traffic (aka ping). Also, computer speed has nothing to do with lag. A slow pc causes hick-ups, low fps, and all that. But lag is a connection problem.
  20. There is no such thing as short term money. Aviansies are definetely good money, and you can easily obtain 600k+/hour there AND get decent Range xp. Little offtopic.. but.. wut? 600k+? How? What am I doing wrong? (full void, broad-tipped bolts, unicorn)

Can't really see mistakes, except for no capital at the start of the sentence, and the fact that "I" should be in capitals. Also your grammar does not need to be perfect to be a P mod. I'm guessing he's just jealous or something.
