  1. Has been gone on for years. There's not really a single point in time where the Runescape economy changed, it all happens more gradually. Runescape is a hell lot different compared to pre-RS2.

Next to personal insecurities there's also the fact that's is socially unacceptable. Public nudity just isn't that smart. Heck, you'd probably get arrested.
  3. How about read my post and understand what I say? This is exactly why you can't generalize. I suggest you re-read. We have achieved more to what I stated above, our cognitive capacities, our ability to learn and all other brain stuff unique to humans. Yet, we are built up exactly the same. Heck, embryo's of most mammals look exactly the same in early stages. Genetic markup only differs by a few percent. We're just like monkeys, with just a tad bit more brain capacity. What humans have created as an society is an effect which says nothing about conceptual differences between humans and other animals. Humans being animal is simply a fact. Doing great stuff like shooting rockets in the sky doesn't change our biology. Then that's something we agree on. Not "mostly". There is a genetic influence, that's all science can tell us at this point. Yeah... so? What's the point in saying that? Just because you can control you should? Non-argument.

    And there's purpose aswell.

Who mentioned adultery? Sex =/= adultery. Theoretically you're supposed to have sex with one loved one, after marriage, that you cannot divorce from. Being naked is connected with sex, which unless its your wife/husband, its bad. Hey I'm saying the facts for what Harrinator asked, whether I believe in them or not is a different story. ;) That's not "theory", that's a religious opinion which has become the standard in everyone's life. Luckily those influences are losing their grip on society. Where I live (Holland) nakedness is getting more and more accepted, for example on tv. At least it's a hell lot better than prudist america.

Are you sure you didn't Burthorpe a task? Because that resets the task counter.
  7. That poll was in 2005, and is Canada only. You can't generalize that to a global population. Also just because a lot of people presumingly agree with you doesn't mean you are right. It's not an argument about the actual content, it's a demographic factor. Great way to defend yourself. Out of arguments or something? You have been completely ignoring all my arguments in the posts above. Not that it's new. That always happens with religious people run out of arguments and need to find other ways to defend their idiotic beliefs. Quite an odd definition of animals do you have there. You have absolutely no idea about what defines being an animal. Also, fyi: animals do think, they just don't have the cognitive capacities that we have. If you'd actually read the link... Comparing with Hitler is just a sad way to prove your point. Godwin's law = you fail. Also it doesn't make sense at all. But that's coherent with the rest of your post. And to add to the poster above: there are also biological differences in the brain between straights and gays. Structural differences have been observed in the brains of homosexuals.
  8. Returning people to their humanly form in Mort'ton. Check the Shades of Mort'ton quest.
  9. Do you even know what the purpose of donating is?
  10. You have absolutely no idea about global feelings about homosexuality. You're making things up. There's a difference between not having to have things shoved right in front of your face and plain ignorance. For years and years scientists in all fields have presented non-religious evidence and all the church does is "nananana, I can't hear you", desperately trying to keep their primitive beliefs alive. Ok, that's just being sad Fact is, there's nothing wrong with homosexuality. And "test of faith" is one of those non-arguments religious people make up whenever something can't be explained with normal reasoning. Fact is, we are animals. We're built exactly the same.
  11. I don't need to understand all that religious stuff to understand that it's a load of crap. Wake up already. The middle ages are over. That's your opinion, based on questionable beliefs. Just keep it to yourself instead of judging others.

  13. Yeah, too many game content, lets get rid of it. Seriously, dumb question.
  14. How about banana's?
  15. It is. You look like a freaking idiot if you type like this. I understand you type this way to make your point, but I'm not taking one's post serious when written with such awful spelling.

I was about to post something here, but I just totally agree with the poster above.
  17. Oh, but she is preventing many more potential lives. A woman body at the start of life has millions of eggs inside of her, from which only a few manage to make it to the state in which they are "released" so they are able to fertilize with a male sperm cell. Millions of eggs... wasted.. in a rat race where the eggs compete over growth. Also, I mentioned above that male sperm can only survive a couple of days, thus wasting sperm already happens inside the body by degradation. Another point is that during the ejaculation The body is one big waste of potential lives And seriously... the male body literally produces an incredible ammount of sperm during it's life. 200 million sperm cells are released each ejaculation. Can you imagine how many sperm cells are created during a male's life? That's a number that is almost unimaginable. Kinda puts the whole wasting argument in perspective. Next to the fact that it's based on some kind of religion that thinks it has a monopoly on truth and regards their medieval morals as superior, the "wasting sperm" argument contradicts with what our body tells us. There is nothing wrong with "wasting" potential lifes. Sperm is inclined to be potential. Regardless of what you do, gazillions of sperm cells will inevitably be wasted during life. But alas, almost every religious argument can be counterfacted by logic arguments and factual statements, sadly most religious people are deaf for anything that "threatens" their simplistic view of the world.
  18. Lol, you're comparing the love two men have with eachother with stealing? Fact is, stealing is universally accepted as morally wrong, while homosexuality is not. In fact, homosexuality is getting accepted more and more, especially by people who are a bit more in touch with reality and understand the fact that two males (or females for that matter) having sex does absolutely no harm. Except for people who think they can force their medieval morals upon other people. What does that have to do with the fact that "god" doesn't want potential lives to be lost while he destroys millions of eggs each day worldwide? If that is "god's way" then god is a hypocrite (which he is in more ways, but I'll leave that out). Also do notice the fact that produced semen can only survive for a couple of days. If it's not wasted by ejaculation, then it will be by degradation in our body. The whole "wasting semen" thing is based on non-consistant arguments.
  19. Bad excuse. Being bad at spelling the English language could certainly be a factor, but that's no reason to put the letters in a seemingly random order. Which some people deem as acceptable. That's only a very small percentage and by far doesn't cover everyone. I even doubt they know what a spell checker is. A lot of people don't care nowadays what their spelling is like. I've noticed a progression in this mentality from the days msn messenger started to become popular. Personally, I look down upon people who have no intention of reasonable spelling. if you won't take the time to make yourself understandable to others, I'm not taking my time to listen to you.
  20. First question: Red are more powerful when using them as a weapon. Thus, harder to catch, and worth more. Second question: no.
  21. I seriously doubt that. The commercial looks way more flashy without ingame content. I think the game looks quite dull and boring if you just see a few flashes of ingame content. Runescape is quite static and "slow" by todays gaming standards.
  22. It's ridiculous though, that Jagex doesn't compensate those paying in euro's. I mean, "we" Europeans have to pay a lot more in euro's than American people do in dollars. Though that's why I pay in dollars with my Paypal account. Still, it isn't very decent.
  23. Well this is news for me. Didn't know they had a runescape.nl site. Also, didn't know anything about a Dutch commercial. @topicstarter: what channel and at what time was the commercial shown?
